Avoid if you have children or a bigger group. Be prepare for rudness, unaccomodating owner and be turned away even if empty and plenty of tables available!!!Been going to silverberry for years, never used to have many complaints. Yes one of the managers is rude and yes I've seen him shouting at his staff several times in front of the costumers, touching the agressive/harrassment behaviour. Never was very much accommodating, but because most of the times we were only 2 wouldn't cause much of a hassle. Since we had a baby we noticed that we became very unwelcome at this place. Its incredible what we've seen. Sometimes the palce is nearly empty and still the manager says that there are no tables. He is rude to costumers, once you made your request, can't change it back or add anything, he will roll eyes at you. There is no "hello" "thank you" or any manners in general from him!I tried several times understant why they didn't want to accomodate us, but there is not point going into a conversation whith the guy. He will shout at you, dismiss you completly and even threatening and be agressive to a point where he came out behind the counter raising his voice and kick us out.He will lose all his costumers with his attitude!Not worth the visit, if your are in the area there are several, many more cafes with the same or better quality and 100 times better service. Specially if you have children.

No recomendaría Silverberry bajo ninguna circunstancia. Fui a almorzar con mi esposa después de una visita al hospital Royal Free. Pedí una comida y me pidieron que pagara por adelantado. Ciertamente, no parecía que estuviéramos raspados o que íbamos a salir corriendo sin pagar. Nunca antes había experimentado un tratamiento como ese. Tampoco es barato.

Excellent food, good presentation and the staff helpful. Highly recommended. You order food through phone, easy process to order and pay through phone.

Sat outside at the back in the lovely garden area. All well separated and everything ordered via the app. A great menu and good quality food. Fantastic service and great location in the village near the park.

Visited Silverberry first time today , what an amazing experience! Staff supper polite and helpful , we ordered egg Royal , wow! Our compliments to the chef!! Tasted amazing , presentation 10 out of 10! Highly recommend, will be visiting again ;)

Silverberry is a great place for a qucik bite. I really like to come and spent some time. They have a great secret garden at the back of the restaraunt.

We were visiting the area and wanted to book for a group of 9 people. We filled in an online enquiry form and messages them but nobody answered either message. We went elsewhere.

I been here with my friends for the third times. The staff are very friendly and polite also well trained. The food and coffee super as always. Little expensive but quality. Shame no access for wheelchair users.

I’ve lived in Hanpstead for 15 years and it’s one of the loveliest areas in London for a park walk, coffee and cake. We are spoiled for choice so avoid Silverberry of you don’t want to be mistreated. Their manager was rude from the start and very unwelcoming - said he needed the table back and when we tried to move to another empty table he said we weren’t welcome and should leave as he had “hundreds of waiting customers”. (Not true). I had been there many times before and said I probably wouldn’t come back after auch rudeness - he spoke loudly in front of all customers and locals - Please do not ce back! Never come back please. Obviously manners are off the menu.Go to any other cafes down the same road and experience better treatment and a smile.

Really liked this deli in Hampstead Heath . Really varied menu good service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Really hate complaining but really must share in this instance. I came to Silverberry for a late brunch and attempted to order my food where the card machine was not working. The person serving me was incredibly rude and pushy getting frustrated at me due to the fact that his card reader was not working?! I then asked for a glass with ice for my drink and he explained that he would bring it over.. not a problem. When I came to my table, there was a glass with NO ice.. I go back and ask the man for some ice as it was not in my glass. He then speaks down to me, argues and dismissed what I’m asking for in front of the other customers and explains he’ll bring it over.. The waitress then eventually my brings the ice over and then the same rude man brings over my food. He then try’s to explain to me “how it works” regarding bringing out ice.. once again talking down to me in front of other customers. I asked if he was the owner, as prior to this, I came onto trip advisor to see customers describing the rude and aggressive behaviour. He was actually the manager! I would definitely stay clear of this establishment as there’s no reason for a paying customer to be spoken to like dirt! Absolutely disgusting and a shame for the cafe as their food is reasonably nice.

The staff were so helpful and so friendly helping us find a table on a busy Saturday when we had pram with us. And they catered amazing for intolerance's. I can't have gluten and dairy and had so many options and the food was delicious!

Not impressed with this place - as a parent of a child in one of the many independent schools in the area, this is somewhere that might have become a regular place for us. But today I popped in to use the toilet for my just turned 4 year old. As those of you with kids will know, when they need to go to the toilet, often you don’t get much warning. I asked at the front if I could use the toilet for the little one, and was told yes. As I approached the toilet, I was met by someone - a dark haired man, manager? Waiter? And was told the toilets were only for patrons, in a very rude way as if I was asking for something so unreasonable. I explained it was for the little one and she was desperate, and he still refused and was very rude. Made me feel like a street beggar. We would have become regular customers, but no way I will go back now.

I had brunch here and the food is good and there is also a lovely garden outside. I would recommend it!

I’m a Hampstead local - as is my partner, as is my flatmate - and our favourite place to brunch at is the Silverberry. Think delicious, healthy and tasty brunches, absolute consistency, great value and excellent customer service. I can not recommend this place more!

Gorgeous little courtyard out the back with lovely food and delicious coffee and cakes - even vegan on offer. Best cafe in the area to meet friends and colleagues. Nice menu.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The owner was totally unaccommodating for our two prams and ended up shouting at us and making the babies cry. He refused to even help with the pram. On a side note, the food is average at best! Terrible experience.

popped in for a coffee before heading to the heat for a walk and grabbed my lovely flat white and given little easter egg, made my day already, tiny little things, kindness..all we need in life..a big thank you to the lovely barista!

We went there with my girlfriend after a beautiful walk in hampstead. She ordered Feta & Avocado with sun dried tomatoes and i ordered the weekend special. It was a breakfast burger. They were both exceptional. Coffee was great too, its so rare to find good coffee and good food together in London. We are definetly coming back.

I moved to hampstead few months ago and been on search to find a good coffee shop to grab a coffee and homemade food/cakes as i am busy and no time to sit most of the time. This place is just what i needed/ can be little busy though..

With all the lovely places to go in Hampstead/ Belsize Park I would strongly advise that you spend your money elsewhere!

Popped in here for a late breakfast while my dad was having an operation next door. Cosy welcoming place. And avacardo cheese and bacon on sour dough was scrummy and staff very friendly.

The title says it all really. From the outside this place looks lovely, the staff are friendly and its tidy/clean inside. However, once we sat down at table 6, it was like trying to eat in a very busy train we were practically sitting on the people next to us laps. The food was so nice but we couldn't wait to get out of there due to how cramped it was which was such a let down.

Had a delicious brunch here on Thursday and returned within 48 hours for another one of their homemade chocolate and hazelnut cookies. It's dangerous knowing this place is 15 minutes walk away.... will be back (for both brunch and cookies..and possibly a Nutella brownie as well).

My wife & I visited friends here on a Saturday afternoon & sat outside to be greeted instantly with a smile from the friendly waiter with glasses who told me all about their homemade products. He mentioned a popular coffee choice to be an oat milk latte & glad I took his recommendation as we loved it!

My friends and I visited Silverberry yesterday after hearing about it from another friend. We went at midday and opted for some of the breakfast/brunch items; I had the weekly special, which was a croque madame, and my friends had shakshuka and granola with fruit and yoghurt. We also ordered coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.

After a hospital appointment up the road, had a lovely brunch. Food tasted fresh and very tasty. Strong coffee.

Aguacate, queso sandwichera era normal no fue derretida. El camarero con gafas no es muy acogedor. No volveremos.

Brunch at Silverberry is a must in London! Ive been to many brunch spots around and it’s definitely my favourite. Food and coffee are great. By far the best granola I’ve ever had 😊 Also the banana loaf - the best! Definitely worth a visit!

El café era muy buena, la comida casera muestra en el mostrador era tan tentador era difícil elegir, opté por un pedazo de tortilla que era delicioso y luego volvimos y pedimos una enorme galleta de chocolate y mantequilla de maní. El café en sí es un buen lugar para sentarse, estaba maravillosamente tranquilo dentro, pero aún así con un ambiente agradable. Hay unas pocas mesas y sillas fuera si quieres ver pasar el mundo. Mucho mejor que el café estándar cadenas bog. Si viviera más cerca me vendría aquí regularmente. Buena relación calidad-precio - a sólo 10 libras por lo que tenía.

The staff are lovely and switched on - they work quickly and are friendly. We sat in the Garden which was nice on a sunny day - but it could do with a little more love and cleaning.

This is a good place for a cup of tea or a meal. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. They had a selection of cakes and snack items as well as full meals. I had a grilled fish and vegetable dish that was delicious. Prices were reasonable for London.

I really like this place and come fairly often as it's near my work. The food usually arrives in good time and the staff are always super friendly and helpful - one time I stupidly left my phone in the office, so whilst dining solo outside wanted something to keep me entertained, and a girl very nicely got me a book from inside. Another time (more recently) the cafe was very busy and me and three friends had a short wait for a table, and then the guy (who was maybe the manager) took our orders from our table, saving us from getting up to order at the till as usual - the till area can get a bit manic when it's that busy! Unfortunately this place isn't cheap, so I can't come for lunch here too often, but when I do I'm never disappointed, as the food is always excellent quality. Also, I would highly recommend treating yourself to a delicious albeit pricey Nutella brownie! I would probably give it five stars if it was less expensive.

I buy coffee from Silverberry pretty much every morning. One of the main reasons I go is because of the amazing staff Cristina and Annabelle. These girls are so enthusiastic and always make me smile! The breakfast is also fabulous - pretty much tried a lot of the menu! Need bigger tables though!

I have been on my own to this place a few times before and always welcomed. The one time i came with my two small children and husband on a freezing afternoon but they could not accommodate us. There were a couple of small tables that they could have easily moved together but i think they were having a lazy afternoon as they didnt seem interested in trying to work something out. We had a lovely snack at Karma bakery around the corner instead.

This is our to-go place for weekend brunches in Hampstead. It's perfectly situated for a pre- or post-walk in the heath meal or coffee. The service is very quick and friendly.

Absolutely worst service I have received in a very very long time. Asked to swap an item in their breakfast menu and they said it was against house policy (despite the fact that you still pay for the item) and if you want an extra item it will cost £1.50 per extra item. Ok annoying but fine. So I asked for avocado and paid. They didn't add avocado and when my food arrived I asked for it. The manager then reluctantly added it and despite it being their fault then dumped, aggressively, a bill of £3 for an avocado side. I questioned the £3 as it seemed excessive for what looked to be half an avocado mashed up. The manager then absolutely screamed in my face in front of customers telling me to go find the price of avacado in the nearest supermarket and to not come back if I didn't want to. I complained directly twice to the cafe on email. Neither message was responded to. Absolutely appalling service by their own manager. My family and friends go there (I'm a local) but I have warned them off. I will never ever be going there again. Disgraceful behaviour to a customer.

Lovely cafe with a relaxed feel. Spent a good 2-3 hours here. Good cake selection - I tried the nutella brownie and the white chocolate and raspberry cake, and both did not disappoint.

Visiting Royal Free Hospital, felt like a change and try this deli restaurant. My girls are vegetarian so plumped for the same. One dish £3.95 but 3 is £8.50 so we ordered 2 lots of 3.with a side of chips and sourdough bread for one and a glass of red for me and 2 desserts. Apart from the quality of the vegetarian dishes there was too much but you can take home a lovely carton with the uneaten portion. Such a surprise and such lovely helpful staff. You actually felt this food was lovingly prepared as well as healthy. I think lunch for the 3 was about £36 which these days is a miracle. It says cheap eats lower down in this survey but this description should say good value. maybe

Tuve ayer brunch con mi familia, decidiendo que en mi última visita hace unas semanas, cuando la comida estaba tibia y sin sabor fue una aberración temporal. No, ayer era exactamente la misma, huevos escalfados cruda y completamente insípido a pesar de mis esfuerzos por temporada, y en otro plato de salchichas cocidas, lo que me frustró fue el servicio. En ambas ocasiones me han preguntado cómo mi comida es, ayer la camarera fue como estaba señalando mis huevos cruda y cuando llamé cortésmente a ella sonreía dulcemente y aún caminamos lejos diciendo nada. Hablaba perfectamente bien el inglés, así que creo que el personal ha sido capacitado para preguntar, pero no tienen ningún interés en hacer nada cuando las cosas no son buenas. No volveré, este lugar se ha alcanzado el éxito (yo les recomiendo hace un año) y tomado su pie del gas. Demasiado caro para la segunda comida y servicio.

I've been here twice for breakfast now and both times I've been equally disappointed. The food always seems bland no matter what I get and often it is cold. The only perk is the delicious chocolate bars they sell - which I would really recommend. I won't be back.

We came here for brunch after running a 5K race and had a lovely meal. I ordered the vegetarian break which was £9.50 and it was delicious. My sister ordered the shakshuka and wasn't too happy with it. All in all, the service was good and personally, my food was great. Prices were a bit high.

Great place for lunch. It looks quite small from the outside but goes back a long way and has a lovely garden area at the rear.I had a chicken thigh brioche and it was really tasty and fresh, would recommend. My friend had the smoked salmon and poached eggs which she said was delicious. We shared a salted caramel which was too gorgeous for words. Good choice of food and wine and very helpful friendly staff.Not cheap but good quality food and service.

I visit this place every 2-3 months with a family member who has regular appointments at the hospital. It is a great place for a lite bite although one can have proper food too. Have been to Silverberry about half a dozen times now and the food and homemade cakes have always been very good.

Silverberry provides a range of good quality food to either eat in or take-away. We had a brunch in the outdoor garden at the back. The quality of the ingredients are always of a high standard. We had the Egg-Avocado with sausage served on their sourdough bread which was wonderful. A shame they don't offer their bread to take-away.The service is always attentive and quick and Silverberry has become a regular for locals to visit for a coffee, breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.

This is a very good cafe in a good location. The coffee is excellent, and the cakes (ifoverpriced) are delicious. I have been going there frequently for the last year, and have always enjoyed it. However, on a visit today, I discovered they had recruited new staffto wait at the tables. These girls were surly, to say the least of it, where the previous waitresses had been courteous and charming. I smiled at them on being served but only got a sour look. I thought maybe it was just me, but I observed they treated all customers alike. Please could somebody encourage them to smile. It's such a good cafe/restaurant, and I want to continue to enjoy my visits there.

Round the corner from the Royal Free Hospital and a nice spot for lunch. I had a toasted panini which was very tasty and a reasonable price for London. The chocolate brownie I shared with a friend was delicious I will definitely be back for another.

Popped in for a quick brunch (the Shakshuka was great, but my 9 year old preferred the Nutella crepes!). Food was great and after finishing brunch we took one look at their cakes and realised there was only one thing to do - afternoon tea. The double dose meal may not have been great for our waistlines, but it did make us a feel like a million bucks on a lovely, lazy Sunday afternoon. We will be back.

Just stopped in for lunch in Hampstead. Take the tube up there and walk the streets and the Heath. Also see the Kenwood House within the Heath. The heath is huge and has many, many paths. Don't worry, you can ask how to get out of there and back to the tube station. Oh, lunch was fine. Had a Large chicken burger with chips and a chicken melt ciabatta. The home made squash veg soup was superb.

I had the Shakshuka breakfast (tomato sauce, peppers, onions, poached egg and toasts). Even though the breakfast had everything in the description of the dish I did not like it very much. I guess it's just a question of taste. My wrong ordering it. The full English looked very nice and the sausage I had tasted very good

Had a lunch stop here with a colleague from work. We had 3 really well made salads for £8.50. Broccoli with red chillies, roast aubergine and veg and sweet potato with pomegranate. Lovely coffee and freshness of salads set me up for an afternoon at the office. Recommend for lunch or afternoon pick me up. They had gluten free cake but we were too full. Making it a regular stop for a 10 a day fix mid week for sure!

There are several places for coffee and food in this area but having visited Silverberry twice, it is our favourite place for coffee, brunch or lunch.(Alcohol is available and there is a good selection of soft drinks and teas too).The salads (we shared three bowls which were delicious and reasonably priced. The menu includes filled flat breads, seasonal soup, quiche etc. There are breakfast/brunch options - and excellent Nutella brownies too ! Coffee is also very good.You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Service was excellent. Highly recommended

This unpretentious but inviting cafe is a real asset to the area. We have only been there for breakfast so can't comment on the other food. Breakfast is excellent, very well presented fried eggs which can be awful if not done well, beans in a small pot so they don't get all over everything else and stay hot. The ingredients are all good quality and just the right portion sizes to make a varied and satisfying breakfast. I'm not a fan of ketchup sachets as they are hard to open but that is a small gripe. Service is at the counter but this is fine and food comes quickly with a smile. The only other issue is that we were near the back door and it can get very draughty. Maybe a curtain over the entrance to the loo and back door area would cut down on the chill at this time of year

I like this place: the outside is nice with a few tables and the inside is cute and cozy. Food is good, especially that kind of pie with sausage and caramelized onions.

A great place for lunch nice and clean the sandwiches were original, I had chosen a flat bread with tuna and cheddar style cheese it was delicious. the neighborhood is nice and quiet

Wonderful coffee and fresh orange juice. Food is also really delicious and fresh. Love sitting outside and watching the world go by early in the mornings. Perfect place to meet a friend for lunch and catch up in the secret garden!

I've been breakfasting here for some time and the food quality and presentation is consistently good. A little on the expensive side but it's self service so no ridiculously high service charges on the bill! Perhaps Silverberry just pay their staff a decent wage? Last Sunday bought Quiche, salad and dessert from their take away service. All delicious but quiche slices mean for the price. With a bit of tweaking this place would rate as excellent.

A friendly café near to Royal Free Hospital. The coffee latte is good and they have usual assortment of coffee and selection of teas. They also have a variety of cold drinks in the fridge and wines. They have a selection of cakes and do have a gluten free lemon polenta cake which is usually very moist and always tasty. They do say they offer gluten free options but cannot guarantee no contamination although they do have separate utensils for serving. The various sandwiches and deli items look fresh and good.Good wifi available.

We visited such a nice place in the morning and had flat whites with poached eggs, I will definitely come again and try omelettes and pastry! Girls were so kind and always sliming!

This is a gem of a place. So friendly. The food gorgeous. Great place to sit outside in Hampstead and people watch or to gather with friends inside. It even has a little garden at the back. Great for brunch and coffee and is also opening for evening dinner now too. The guys that run it are amazing and everyone working there is friendly and happy.

I have visited several times and the offer of cake and coffee for £3.95 is very restricted to just the 2 cakes which are not selling well presumably because no-one likes them. Also some of the staff make you feel a cheap skate if you ask for the offer. The problem is I love this place and otherwise would give it 5 but the above issues only cause disappointed customers

Entramos de casualidad, nos pareció simpática la fachada y estábamos hambirentos.Encontramos empleados simpáticos y serviciales, rica comida, buen café , con precios adecuados.Muy recomendable !

Had sometime to spare after a visit to the hospital, a coffee was needed. Could have used the usual chain coffee houses but thought we would give this a try. So glad we did. Great coffee, friendly staff, very clean and the food on display looked amazing. Would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

Cute cafe with nice food, but the lack of table service and plain decor make it seem a bit like a cafeteria. They seemed to have plenty of staff who weren't doing much when we visited (place was about 1/4 full), so not having table service seems a strange policy. The terrace at the back is lovely.

Amazing that's all I can say.... You have to go to believe it.... Staff are fabulous.. Food is so tasty amazing presentation....

Great breakfast and coffes.. I loved that place..very cosy..nice and friendly service too. Nowadys hard to find this kind of place in London. Definitely visit again.
