The best restaurants serving Default food in Waveney East of England

6 of us dropped in for a drink after the cinema at 22.05 today . Totally deserted except for one customer at the bar. Waited over 5 minutes before the customer offered to find the bar staff. Empty glasses on bar and tables so obviously work to do but no staff. Young lady eventually appeared and promptly said we've finished serving. No apology. I am amazed bars can afford to turn away 6 customers let alone without an apology. Also strange on 2nd July to read Christmas menus displayed around the walls. No idea if these are very early for this year or left up from last year? I've worked in hospitality much of my life and the golden rule is 'never turn away a paying customer' Unfortunately a no stars review wasn't an option. Very disappointing.

Awful food. There was nothing good about the food I was served. I will never visit Taco Bell again. Hardly surprising that the place was empty.

Nice staff but the customers that we saw were.......? Very cheap drinks and decent food but we soon made our excuses. I've been to dozens of 'Spoons in dozens of places but would hesitate to go back here. Don't get me wrong, the staff were lovely BUT...... what can one say????? It is wot it is.

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch as we were having a boat trip on the Wavely. Found this place. Well the first thing that greeted you was the smell of chip fat. We did not know the area and time was short, we went in and ordered two jacket potatoes (good quality potatoes however Luke warm on arrival, I also ordered a tea and a black coffee with milk on the side(a simple enough drink), however when it came it was a shot of coffee and a jug of milk I took it back and asked for it to be filled up with HOT water, this again was tepid. by now I had given up. (I will give the girl the benefit of the doubt with Black coffee) perhaps I should have said Americano. Last but not least I asked how much the cake cost (which looked as if it had been in the display containers for a long time) by the time it was passed to three of the youngsters (from me to you a bit like the Chuckle Brothers)!! I gave up. A place I certainly would not recommend.

Ordered this for my mum for a treat. She had a little chciken it wasnt cooked properly and she was then sick. Food poisoning

Got to the drive thru at 9:40pm literally nobody there just me so extremely quiet Ordered food and paid at first till no problem Second window get some cocky guy I ask for sauce says he’ll stick it in the bag I said can you make sure you do please as you always forget Sat in bay waiting for food for 10 minutes again I’m the only one in drive thru Food comes out, no drink I ask where it is the girl says drive round and get it, I reply your not busy how can you forget the drink and ultimately told her not to worry and thanks for food Get home to no sauce in bag and missing a cheese burger. And to top it off bite into a chicken sandwich to find a frozen chip inside Couldn’t make it up Worrying to say the least the incompetence of some of the employees in this restaurant

the food is a good value for money. Staff friendly, Good choice on the menu. Slower table service during their busy times ( to be expected or maybe hire more staff for these times) It was great to see tables provided for disabled customers, We...

Terrible service. Food was 25 minutes late. And they completely missed out the rice and Bombay aloo. I called up and they told me they’ll send it out in 20 minutes. I explained the rest of my food would be cold by the time they bought it but he hung up on me. Plus the food was actually disgusting, never in my life have I tasted Indian food that wasn’t nice. The rice was over cooked and the chicken didn’t even taste like chicken. Bombay potatos were nasty

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff! Rude and unprofessional, and clearly not happy with their jobs. My husband ordered a mixed grill and wanted to ensure that he could get his egg well done, but on approaching the staff and asking, he was told “We don’t do a mixed grill” he replied “You do because I just ordered it” to which she replied “We DONT do a mixed grill”. The lady then asked a colleague if Morrisons Cafe did a mixed grill to which the colleague confirmed that they do. My husband then asked if they could start the conversation again and the lady proceeded to walk away from him ignoring his request for a well done egg. We have been to many Morrisons Cafes and have all been great but this one is by far the worst! No clean cutlery, no serviettes, no sauces, rude staff and an uncomfortable atmosphere. I have written this review while waiting for our food too and wondering what state it will be in when we get it. It’s already been 20 minutes and unfortunately the screen we paid at was not giving receipts so the likely hood of a refund is out of the question!

Stopped lunch time on Friday 31st March 2023, I was sceptical as there was no chippy smell, ordered chips, and had to wait for a very surly man-who said nothing-to put a few chips in the frier. There was a sense of foreboding as I was the only customer at lunchtime, and no chips frying or ready🤔 After eagerly awaiting my chips, I adorned them with salt and vinegar and took them to the car. The ‘chips’ were absolutely disgusting, with 25% being black inside the chip. There was no ‘chip taste’ and we have eaten at many chippies in Lowestoft with no previous issues These were either frozen/reconstituted and we put them in the bin. This business is in need of an in-depth viability assessment, and indeed, whether this man should be working with the public. Without doubt, the worst chips my wife and I have ever experienced

No las mejores patatas fritas preparado que he tenido, un poco demasiado grasiento, pero es local, es conveniente y cuando quieres una bolsa de patatas francamente nada más lo haremos. . . . . .

Cheap and actual home made fresh pizza

Fancied a roast, I had beef, hubby had gammon, we had it delivered and it did take an hour and a half to arrive, but it was piping hot, great amount of tender meat, veg were nice, carrot and green beans, peas and gravy, there were lots of roast potato's, I would prefer some mash or new potatoes and less toasties but these are just my thoughts. We did enjoy it, so all good.
