Morrisons Lowestoft - North Quay Retail Park Cafe in Waveney

Came in cafe with my friend, we both had 2 poached eggs on toast, was really nice. Tea was nice but disappointed of the state of teapots, absolutely disgusting, looks like they just been run under the tap, when I worked in hotel kitchen we had to make sure you could see the stainless steel inside.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff! Rude and unprofessional, and clearly not happy with their jobs. My husband ordered a mixed grill and wanted to ensure that he could get his egg well done, but on approaching the staff and asking, he was told “We don’t do a mixed grill” he replied “You do because I just ordered it” to which she replied “We DONT do a mixed grill”. The lady then asked a colleague if Morrisons Cafe did a mixed grill to which the colleague confirmed that they do. My husband then asked if they could start the conversation again and the lady proceeded to walk away from him ignoring his request for a well done egg. We have been to many Morrisons Cafes and have all been great but this one is by far the worst! No clean cutlery, no serviettes, no sauces, rude staff and an uncomfortable atmosphere. I have written this review while waiting for our food too and wondering what state it will be in when we get it. It’s already been 20 minutes and unfortunately the screen we paid at was not giving receipts so the likely hood of a refund is out of the question!

The supermarket was freezing cold.staff said all morrisons are like that.many staff are leaving.even ones who have been there a long time.only places which felt warm was cafe and near bakery. Morrisons don't look after there staff at all.

First of all I showed my online card details to be told I had to read them out , I said I couldn't because I dident have my glasses and I couldent see the numbers the cashier said ' well nor can I ' so I said dont worry about it then, so she dident. Secondly one of the staff was talkiing out loud to the rest of the kitchen staff about how much per hour she was getting and how much she had paid in nat insurance, thirdly I ordered beans on toast out came 2 slices of toast both cut in half with no butter and a small dish of beans which hardly covered one slice of toast. And were tepid. I really dont like to complain but on my last few visits I have found the service to be anything but good. So I wont be visiting any of your cafes again.

I have just ordered a takeaway lunch & had it delivered. I had ordered 2 x kids meals (nuggets, chips & beans) & 2 slices of toast. I was missing a kids meal. My complaint is I tried calling but no one answered, an automated message came up about calling another number, I didn't have a pen but to be honest by then I couldn't be bothered by all the faffing about. Very poor

Great food, great service, and the more points were a bonus. I will definitely be back with my family to take advantage of the kids eat free offer

Ordered breakfast. It arrived within 5 minutes and was super fresh and hot. Great service from Megan who served me at the till and brought my food over. Definitely will be back
