Jesters in Lowestoft in Waveney

Fancied a roast, I had beef, hubby had gammon, we had it delivered and it did take an hour and a half to arrive, but it was piping hot, great amount of tender meat, veg were nice, carrot and green beans, peas and gravy, there were lots of roast potato's, I would prefer some mash or new potatoes and less toasties but these are just my thoughts. We did enjoy it, so all good.

Love going to Jesters, always good food and friendly staff, lovely location, top marks to Martin the chef and owner Would highly recommend a visit 😊

The Food is well below quality from cost of it, mostly burnt and you seldom get food you ask for, and they ban you if you complain, the cook called Martin is aggressive and knows nothing about manor or respect to customers..

I wouldn't eat here in a MILLION years. Did you know there are 6 microwaves in their kitchen? That's right, 6. That says all you need to know

Last night we ordered via Justeat 1 sundae £6 & 1 Super Bowl £13 (described as ridiculously large bowl) - it's not as described. We ordered the superbowl to share for my kids, as it was her birthday. The superbowl arrives in a small bowl (slightly smaller than a breakfast bowl) and had much more cream than ice cream. We could see the Super Bowl was roughly same size as the sundae, so we poured them each in a breakfast bowl and there was no difference between them. Now we paid £6 for the sundae, & a whopping £13 for the Super Bowl. What a rip off - we were so disappointed. Now my point is that there is NO difference between a normal Sundae and the Super Bowl, and it’s certainly not like as it’s advertised, much smaller and not ridiculously large! I left feedback explaining the above on Justeat and instead of them accepting this feedback they replied and basically Told me to get a McFlurry! Yep they’re that rude. And you can see all there other dismissive and pathetic replies to other negative feedback in Justeat.

Ordered small roast and boss hogg deluxe Roast was awful Yorkshire pudding was very cooked and hard in places. The veg taste like they come from Iceland. The burger was missing the 2 beef burgers the hubby ordered chicken as extra so he phoned them they said as he ordered extra chicken (he paid extra money for) they don't put the beef burgers on. Well my advice is reword the disruption to say replacement at an extra cost. Not just extra . Poor quality food for the price

Having used jesters in Normanston Park for a few years we have been disappointed on the last several visits. We had been giving them the benefit of the doubt due to covid etc. However, they no longer do baguettes but have replaced these with 5” baps. They have also increased the price of these by 80p. I have also noticed that on a couple of occasions the baps have obviously been defrosted and then microwaved so not really a fresh roll. A bacon bap is now £3.30 which is a lot smaller than the baguettes they used to do at £2.50. To be fair the staff who work there are extremely polite and efficient, it’s not their fault the owner has decided to increase costs. A cup of normal coffee is £1.80 when most supermarket cafes offer same for £1.50 and some with free refills. We have decided to give this place a miss from now on as there is much better value in other venues in Lowestoft. The venue is nice and clean and staff work really hard. The location is pleasant so it’s a shame the costs have increased so much. I think 2 bacon baps and two coffees should not cost over £10 which it does here.

I ordered lunch for 11 people to be delivered at yesterday. The staff were very helpful and courteous, the food arrived on time and hot. Very tasty food, loads of choice, we ordered 10 different items off the menu and everyone agreed it was great. Would recommend for lunch deliveries in Lowestoft. Also great value :)

Came for a birthday treat in the sun, had no french stick, the one thing they advertise all over the place. Due to covid and indoor being closed we sat outside and so didn’t get the free drink for sitting in, breakfast was poor quality, tinned tomato, not half a tomato and watery beans. Very dry bread roll. Was in a takeaway container so not presented very nicely. Don’t bother!

My wife and I enjoyed a home delivery meal from Jesters as it was her Birthday and due to lockdown we couldn't go out to eat, so we ordered in...this is the first time we have used them (although we had tried on Valentine's Day but no deliveries were available). My wife ordered a Fried Chicken, Bacon and Maple Waffle Sandwich, I ordered a Boss Hogg Deluxe and we had a starter size Pimped Out Pulled Pork Nachos to share...we specified the delivery time and it was within 15 minutes, so all pretty decent and the delivery driver was friendly (as was Tia who took my order). When we unpacked the food we realised the portions were huge...everything was sealed in plastic containers and still pretty hot. The Boss Hogg was delicious, with two good sized beef burgers, bacon, onions rings, coleslaw and salad and a large bag of chips. There was far too much for me to eat so I focused on the meat and hot food and left mainly the salad / slaw. My wife's sandwich was also large...and the 'starter sized' pulled pork nachos was big enough to be a main course - the presentation was a bit messy but it was all tasty and there was loads of it. If we had realised how big the portions were we would have probably skipped the starters and had the chips in the Boss Hogg Deluxe between us. Overall I was very happy with our meal, which was decent value for what you got, and it was free delivery. Service was friendly and efficient. Was well worth trying.

Ordered a delivery a few weeks back and due to an error with their website it was duplicated and I was charged twice. I phoned and they cancelled one of them and I was supposed to be refunded within 3-5 working days.. three weeks later I’m still waiting for my refund. Jesters told me to contact foodhub which I have and now I’m having to jump through hoops to get my money back. Shocking customer service. Shame because the food can be good, I just don’t like having to pay twice for it.

The food is very nice and very good value. Haven’t been inside the restaurant yet, but the delivery is very good and always friendly and fast. We always try and order before rush hour and never fail us with good friendly, fast service! Highly recommended 😋

Food took hours to arrive, asked for no cheese.. covered in cheese. Everyone was sick after eating the pulled pork. Phoned up and they were very rude about it saying there was a ‘bug’ going round. Absolute shambles. Never again.

We came here for a late breakfast / early lunch. No seating available inside. Only the benches outside. It was a nice hot day so wasn’t too bad. The order did take a long time to come, it came in plastic takeaway boxes. Waitress was nice and apologised for the weight The waffles were good though

Nice food but very poor customer service stated 45 minutes for delivery but waited an hour and a half, phoned them and person on the phone was rude, delivery driver sarcastic, such a shame but delivery let's it down, apparently orders are taken from 18.00 according to the driver however rand at 17.30 and reciept shows this.

Food took longer than they said to arrive which they had told us it would take an hour and it took longer, when it did arrive the order was wrong they read the order back as well and it was correct but couldn’t seem to make it right. The gravy was watery and flavourless. The chips and onion rings were overcooked. Overall won’t be ordering from here again especially after the price you pay for it you expect a better quality of food. Not impressed.

Ordered a takeaway Roast dinner for 2 at 3.30pm Sunday 3rd Nov via Just Eat. Had confirmation of Order at 5.40pm when Jesters reopened delivery about 7.10 pm. At 7.45pm rang Jesters told it would be another 45 mins as there was 2 orders infront of me. Explained my displeasure and was told to hold on then came back and told me I was banned as she did not like my tone and I would receive my money back in 7 days. Her attitude was apauling and her tone was vile. If you cannot complain to them then I take the view of Zero Tollerance and will not take abuse from them. I immediately phone Just Eat and made a complaint about them and their vile rudeness on the phone they immediately gave me my money back DO NOT USE THEY ARE RUDE AND ABUSIVE.

Our server amiee was rude and stuck up, my friends asked where the toilets are and was told “they’re upstairs... well there is signs” in a stick up and ride manner... food turned up all the burgers was overcooked. When we wanted to order shakes there was man in front of us and was waiting for her to come when she did the phone kept ringing and she kept telling us to wait to answer the phone... and it took the bloke 15 mins to actually order food.

staff are horrible! they laughed at me, called me ‘terror’ and chucked my food at me all because i went upstairs to use the toilet even tho i had purchased something! absolutely terrible! never buying from there again

Quite possibly the worst breakfast I’ve ever rated. Having waited 50 minutes for food the breakfasts came out swimming in oil and fat so much so that it left a puddle of the plate. When we cut into the sausages fat just oozed out. Everything just tasted of grease and nothing else. Revolting. Would not recommend. In future we will stick to the Lighthouse for breakfast.

Had lunch with the family again. Food was great as always. Expect a wait as they do cook it to order and you wont be disappointed. Great for breakfasts. Burgers are fantastic and massive.

Had lunch in Jesters yesterday and as always they provide great food at a great price. I had the cheese and chilli chips and they were just great. Loved them.

Visited Jesters for breakfast, it was highly priced and the tinned tomato made the whole plate wet and unappetizing. It's not a place l would go for breakfast again.

Visited here for a light lunch and ended up having a heart attack.....the heart attack breakfast bap. The roll it came in was so soft, the best white roll I’ve have tasted. The combination of sausage, bacon, fried egg, mushrooms topped off with cheese it’s heaven! In the past I’ve had the breakfasts here and they have been delicious. The staff here are always friendly. Big shout out to Aimee who is always brilliant. Keep up the good work jesters. 5*

Looking at the website and the name jesters I thought it would be a fun place to take my son for a late brunch on bank holiday Monday.

The God burger meal was amazing! Fed our family of 5. My boys loved how fun it was having an oversized burger. Really well cooked and lovely and fresh. Made our family night even better.

Went here for a late breakfast. There was a good choice of breakfast foods to choose from.

Having both worked for and ordered from jesters before, I’d say I have a pretty good idea of what they are like, but from time to time I place an order with them.

My wife and myself were out enjoying the sunshine at the park and decided as it was lunchtime to call in at jesters for a lunch. Entering we found dirty tables and a lack of menus. Sitting down on the chairs was another unpleasant surprise as we sank down into seats that were clearly worn out!

I and wife popped into Jesters on sunny cold day after dog play on field, We ordered chicken & Chips, cost £17 the chicken couldn’t be cut let alone eaten, chips were warm not hot, but leathery, sad but microwaves don’t work on food unless proper chief is in charge, the girls who cooked ours had no idea.

First time to use Jester's today we had Farm house mix grill and steak wrap I thought it was great value for money food come out freshly cooked staff was very nice and helpful have recommend to all friends and family

Visited this lunchtime and was surprised I was the only customer as the menu looked great and the female server helpful. Having ordered I asked her if the upstairs was quieter as the music was so loud and not a wanted addition to a pleasant meal.

In the corner of normo park is a little old cafe named jesters I live in Lowestoft but never use this place until a friend took us there for a meal up stairs the food was excellent and couldn’t fault it a must try they deliver as well well done to you all

I had a "Mucho Nacho Chilli Cheeseburger" and I have to say it could be the best burger of my life. It was so good.....and big. People in the restaurant who were ordering or who had just ordered were staring at it as they brought it to the table. I'm sure someone let out a gasp!

Waited 45 minutes for food .I think they forgot our order till we approach them.wasnt bothered at all

Really can’t knock this place for the food, fab-u-lous and make sure you’re REALLY hungry before you go as portion sizes are huge.

Had chicken panini coffee ☕️ for £5 great value and tasty 😋 Only negative poor waitress on her own and obviously struggled 😕 Obviously this effected waiting time not everyone as patient as me 😇

Great food, atmosphere and setting. Brilliant if you want to relax whilst the kids run free in the park!

Visited Jesters for breakfast this morning, we ordered straight away, only a few people already waiting for food, took about 45mins for the food to come out but was really good food!!

you get a lot for your money & its good. A lot to choose from on the menu. We have been a few times, had take-away on many occasions. Would recommend.

We popped in for lunch, this was my first visit and after reading the extensive menu I opted for the Philly Steak 5”roll, thanks goodness I didn’t go for the 12” as I would have wasted it. The 5” was more than enough, even without the chips which it comes with. We also had a dessert, sugar waffle with Nutella, OMG it was so good. Well worth the money.

Popped in on the off chance for breakfast and I am glad to say it was a good choice.... the food was great and the portion size was massive!

Good food, good choices for children and not bad value would best sum up Jesters. Situated over two floors it is primarily an US style diner

Just taste so cheap Tesco value booker value and bit pricey for the quality of food. Could cook better at home for a lot cheaper with better products. And nothing taste fresh microwave galore . I won't recommend or won't eat at this poor quality cafe again just taste so poor . Staff was nice though made welcome

First but not the last visit. Was amazing the only problem was chips where lovely but some tasted like they had been been reheated but mixed with freshly cooked ones .

Ordered delivery for the first time last week and could not complain. For a fairly large order, the food was delivered quickly and piping hot. Highly recommend the bacon rolls for breakfast!

Entramos a jesters para almorzar después de haber terminado un trabajo. Llegamos a la 1:45 pm. Tenía intención de tener comida desde la junta tiempo comidas especiales que anunciaban 12 - 2 y sólo me dijeron que la cocina estaba cerrada. Este es en un lugar que anuncia que está abierto desde la mañana hasta las 21:30. Por lo que pude ver no se mencionaba que la cocina cerraba durante el día.

Para llevar buenísima, con una gran selección de comidas desde sándwiches y rollos de bistec con patatas fritas y pescado y patatas fritas. La comida siempre llega caliente y recién hecha

Buenas hamburguesas hechas a mano de carne real, probé el desayuno y era muy grande, pero la calidad de la carne era muy pobre.

Parada en conseguir comida y me dijeron que no había comida caliente como una broma y otros 3 grupos salir detrás de nosotros es terrible

Recientemente tuvimos la cena aquí y la comida era encantador. Nos tiene nachos para empezar con y se veía que era casero Misa del Gallo y tengo que decir que uno de los mejores nachos que he tenido.

Tried Jesters this morning, in truth to escape the persistent rain. Haven't been since in a previous life the place was a pretty average park cafe many years ago. To-day though service was great and the choice of food served either upstairs or down was really good and good value too.All this and a nice view of the park or football matches played there in season on Saturdays and Sundays

I ordered my meal from dial your dinner, but somehow instead of ordering from Lowestoft i mistakenly ordered from the Yarmouth one. My order was accepted and payment was taken, the app said it would be about an hour which we didn't mind, an 1 1/2 hours later still no meal, so i rang the Lowestoft store asking where our food was and they told me they hadn't received any order. Lowestoft found out that my order had been cancelled. Yarmouth never bothered to contact me to say my meal was cancelled. I reordered with Lowestoft even though we now had another hour to wait for the meal. We then received a phone call from Lowestoft jester to say because of what happened they cant apologise enough, and as a way of saying sorry they bumped our order to the top and given us a complimentary bottle of wine. I had added drinks to my order which wasn't on my previous and upon delivery i was going to pay for them to which the delivery guy said there was no charge for them either. Now i know this has been long winded but needed to explain the story. Yes it was my fault i ordered wrong, Yarmouth should have told us and Lowestoft sorted it above and beyond what they had to . And the food was great too. The only reason for 4 stars is purely because i wasn't told of the cancellation and only by phoning did i find out . A big thank you to Lowestoft Jesters

Lovely location on the edge of Normanston park, burgers are gourmet burgers sooo tastey, extensive menu options and child menu too

Where to start... Mushroom stroganoff bruschetta - 5mushrooms half an onion in a disgusting sauce definately not stroganoff! Bruschetta is meant to be toasted however I got half a roll and soggy as sauce had been smothered over it! Rice extremely bland n no flavour to it at all. Chilli n cheese chips hardly any cheese on there at all. Chilli burnt your mouth off and chips had been microwaved! My partners steak phat sandwich was nice but just again over powering with onion which he removed. Cheesy mash had pepper in it? Why?Amount of money things cost was definately expecting higher standards!

I popped in one evening for a quick meal. The food tasted good but the disappointing part was the length of the waiting time for it to be cooked. Especially, as I was the only person in there at the time. When the meal came, I then had to ask why part of the advertised meal was missing from my plate. The delivery side of the business appeared to be thriving with drivers constantly in and out BUT in my opinion a little more concentration on the customers eating in would be more beneficial. Although, only a personal preference, I think it would be better to make the coffee and tea yourselves rather than relying solely on a machine to produce it. The establishment is located in a lovely park.

I only gave this 4 stars as the two times I've been it's been too warm and the music too loud for me, but the food was great for the price £5 lunchtime deal is well worth trying

Had a couple of take away orders from here, definitely won't order again. The food is so greasy, the ingredients are of bad quality. It's a place that seems to want to wow you with the size of the portions rather than wow you with some good food! I ordered the blue cheese burger which came with a salad shaker. The salad was old and slimy!! Very disappointing

Jesters double stacked chilli burger is simply the best take away burger in town by far!Little pricey for a burger but I think its worth it, order on-line, delivery can be a bit slow so maybe they need morw drivers but the food makes up for it.

I have eaten the sliders here and also ordered takeaway both were quite greasy I wouldn't eat here again.

Me and my partner used to go to Jesters at least once a week as we love the food and staff are friendly.We have now stopped going as they are now penny pinching on the sauce ( I know this sounds petty) but when you pay for your meal and are only allowed 1 cheap sachet of sauce per meal and extra are 10p, they never used to charge for extra why start now?We now go to The Lighthouse Cafe where there is a whole bottle of sauce on the table happy days again

I've been to Jesters loads of times and always forget to wright a review Good food lovely staff help me with being Glutenfree always check if there unsure on something I love the omelette beans & tomatoe even do them with flylight so good for old slimming world lol My husband and boys was here a week a go and they ordered the fat boy breakfast Omg its massive picture below it smelt so good and all 3 of them cleared there plates good value for money park views good food What more could you say Oh and they deliver as well so from us

Visited today (3/12/15) and the food as always was lovely. I don't know the name of the waitress but I would like to say that she is very friendly and hard working! An asset to your team!

I ordered from jesters for the first time . Had 2x boss hog deluxe burgers. Delivery was late but I did get a apology at the door with 2 cans of coke . I was so excited and hungry. The disappointment. It was so burnt and dry not edible at all . Only thing that was ok was the chips . £25 waisted on 2 burgers .never again .wish I had of read some reviews b4 ordering

what a disgusting nasty little place this is !!! ordered ribs ,,,,ribs!! from a cat i think they were.....or the smallest pig in the the world ! not only that but they were rank! probably came in a bag n microwaved ! disgusting !! also had a burger that smelt dirty n strange ....put straight in the bin !! there was a salad shaker with it ....well it certainly made me shake alright.......with a big hair entwined in it !!!THIS PLACE IS DEFIANTLY GOT THE RIGHT NAME .......JESTERS!! Have ordered breakfast deliveries for our work. Food warm and not greased up at all. Deliveries are at a small charge when order is nearly 50 quid found that a little harsh for a 2 mile journey. Not hote cuisine but for a bacon butty not bad at all. Would use again

Ordered an Eco Warrior, portion was massive and tasted lovely; definitely worth the money. The weekend breakfast was good also according to Dad. There was only one girl serving, she was lovely but seemed like she was under pressure on her own. She was having to juggle a lot, which didn't seem fair, bless her.

It was absolutely disgusting - Everything we ordered tasted like dirty oil. None of my family are fussy eaters, surprised we didn't like our meals. Bacon was nothing but fat and the chicken smelt like dirty oil and made the waffles taste like dirty oil, the burger was burnt very dissatisfied. £30 as well such a waste.

Went for lunch, husband ordered salad, when asked if a low calorie dressing was available it took 10 minutes for waitress to return saying only got vinagerette. I have mobility problems and when I asked where the toilets were I was told upstairs, when I said I couldn't use the stairs I was told to use the toilets in the park. If you want average food, rude staff and inadequate toilet facilities this is the place for you. It's a shame because with the correct staff and upgrade in standard of food this could be a great local asset.

We ordered 2 roast beef dinners for home delivery when they arrived could not believe the sight of the meals the meat was wafer thin dry and fibrous the roast potatoes looked like they had been deep fried the whole meal gave the impression of being preprepared and then reheated under a grill. Will not be using this establishment again and most certainly would not recommend

Went to this resturant as looked nice on website.The food was lovely we had two roasts and really enjoyed them very filling and good value for money.The resturant looks bit like a cafe and a small seating area.

Not the cheapest, cheese and prawn burger, spicy chicken burger both with fries £16.80.Both Luke warm, naps dry, no flavour to the chicken burger and it was so small swamped by the large bap. Chips not great, bit overdone and again Luke warm!!!Expected a lot better considering I am literally 4 mins away.Should of had a bargain bucket !!! Won't use again.

We've used Jesters a couple of times a month since they opened. Food is delicious, freshly cooked and best of all is the variety. For those evenings when you both want something different! Food arrives hot with the friendliest drivers and always within the stated time. Sweet potato fries are to die for!

Visited Jesters recently after a friend recommended it. I found the staff to be cheerful and friendly, the venue was clean and the menu has plenty to choose from. We were served very quickly and were happy with the food; Chilli, Phat sandwich and pulled pork burger followed by sticky toffee pudding and apple/toffee pie. The portion sizes are good and the prices are reasonable, we came away feeling full! Jesters is also conveniently placed next to the park and has nice views. Ideal stop off if you want a quick cuppa and a bite to eat. We would visit again.

God Knows where Martin came up with this idea but I am so glad that he did, a homemade burger, with cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce served in between two halves of a glazed donut. amazingly good

Had Saturday breakfast with friends. Thought we'd try it out. Wish we hadn't it was horrible coffee luke warm and weak. Sat with our coats on. Food wasn't much better cheap sausages etc. Won't be going back.

I have been to this Diner several times and had a bacon roll which was nice.This time I went for a meal with my daughter. I ordered the rib eye steak and asked for this to be cooked medium rare. My daughter ordered the gammon steak. We ordered tortillas to share for starters, we asked for these to be served cheese only but when they arrived it was covered in everything. I said to the waitress what had happened and she asked if we wanted more cheese? I said "no point as my daughter wouldn't eat any of it now" she just smiled and turned away. When the main meals arrived I was like what an earth is this. My steak was well over cooked and very hard to chew and my daughters gammon was over cooked too. The egg on her gammon looks like it has been cooked on a griddle that needs a dam good clean, it was black looking. The salad was covered in mustard that my daughter wouldn't eat. I never complained as I didn't see the point as it fell on deaf ears earlier we just left without saying anything. I will still go there for a bacon roll but won't be having a proper meal there again.

It feels like it maybe used to be a cafe and probably should be a cafe. The menu had a LOT of variety and a lot of things that don't seem connected to one style or type of food. I would imagine that that it would be hard to do all of those things well and quickly.

Had the Big Boy breakfast (£6.99)The location was nice, the interior was clean and nicely laid out.Staff were friendly and attentive.The reason Jesters only scored a 3 was the food.Sausage 3/10 (Not what I would call a good British banger)Tomatoes 2/10 (Tinned not fresh and went cold very quickly)Egg 9/10Mushrooms 9/10Beans 9/10Bacon 8/10Sauté potatoes 9/10Ruined by the poor sausage and the bad choice of Tomatoes. Change those 2 simple items and it would transform this breakfast into a real winner. Such a shame to spoil the ship for a 'hapeth of tar'Toilet door sticks and therefore very difficult to shut and lock.

So like any Sunday morning with a hangover I decided to use jesters to driver myself and friend over £20 worth of food at 12:30 I was told that it would tak approximately 45mins it's now 14:35 and I'm yet to see my food I called up and got some fool that had not a clue tried to tell me that they are busy without even an apology.... Good arrives to which was vile !!! Sausages that contained about .5% of pork mushrooms that are burnt and vile bread that was definately Asda value !!! Overall absolute rubbish would not recommend this for a dog !!!! Awful awful awful !!!! Do not order from here unless you have no tastebuds !!!!

Went here this morning. The fry-up was cooked quickly and was lovely.Would definitely recommend Great foodGreat ServiceComfortable and clean setting

This is a great little café, excellent value, lovely, hot, home cooked food & very friendly staff. We think this place is a real find! It also does home delivery (we haven't tried this service yet) and kiddies meals are good value and must be tasty as our grandchildren cleared their plates in record time!! (As did their granddad!!) Another bonus is that it is situated in Normanton park, so the kids, big & small, can run off any excess energy on site!So, if you want a good, hot, tasty breakfast or brunch, we advise you to go no further than Jesters!

A nice setting on the edge of the park with outdoor seating. The restaurant is quite cramped inside and the food we found was mediocre . I would go back for a coffee or cool drink outside but would not wish to eat anything inside because as i have said the space between the tables down stairs is not satisfactory .

We hired a takeaway but when it turned up there was hardly anything provided .my husband ordered a roast dinner but for the money paid it was so small. Very dissatisfied .Will not use again .

Arranged to meet a friend in the park, As I arrived early decided to go for a cuppa and read my book. bad mistake. The staff were very unfriendly, the music so loud it was being distorted through the speakers. the place smelt like a bottle of shake and vac. When I asked for a pot of tea I was given half a mug of lukewarm water which the young girl floated a tea bag on to. There were so many tables squashed into the place that I had to move the table behind so that I could draw the chair to sit down. The tea was disgusting to the point of being undrinkable. No wonder I was the only customer.

I decided to upgrade to the hutson sausages with my breakfast the other day but will stick to their regulars in future as it did put me right off when it was raw in middle when i cut into it. i dare not send anything back as i always think it will get licked/chucked on floor before re cooking for you lol so just left it for them to see.but never had probs with their normal ones.

Called in for a late lunch waited for ages for food then waitress told us that they were busy with deliveries !!! Surely customers come first?

Things started well, the place was clean and warm on a cold January day, it went rapidly downhill from there.The service was poor but eventually managed to order, when the plate arrived the food was swimming in beans which had made the hash browns soggy, the egg only comes one way, the sausages were cheap nasty mushy and inedible.When I spoke to a member of staff about it, he just shrugged his shoulders and told me to contact the owner which I did, however it appears that the member of staff had told the manager a completely different story.This is the cheap end of the market and was only chosen because of its location, never again.

Called in for a late lunch. The food was well priced and we enjoyed most of it. We ordered some onion rings which were terribly greasy and for that reason possibly the worst I'd ever had. It was very quiet with only one other table in that left before we received our food. The only other thing that puts me off is I started to feel sick towards the end of the meal and continued to feel sick and get cramps in my stomach for the rest of the day and all of the next. I'm not allergic or sensitive to any foods so I'm not used to this at all and it's really put me off returning incase the same thing happens again!
