The best restaurants serving Default food in Waveney East of England

This is not a very big place and they only seem to have one sitting. They opened at 6 and we were booked in for 6:30. Every table was full but it wasn't too noisy and there was some background music but it wasn't too loud. We all really enjoyed our food and had a lovely evening. Our waitress was really good too, although she kept telling us that she didn't work there any more she had just been called in to help out. Parking nearby wasn't easy, but that's not the fault of the restaurant. My only complaint is that I was sat on a bench seat and it wasn't very comfortable. It was ok after I folded my coat and sat on that though. I let my wife and my sister sit on the chairs opposite and they didn't have any complaints about their seats.

Wednesday night special was amazing thankyou to all the staff and team food was amazing and great value , was advised against poperdoms but had anyway well presented food and would recommend 100% will return soon thankyou shaiz

Really enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Staff were all very friendly. Room was very comfortable and warm. It's a very enchanting hotel, with a beautiful 15th century (I think) barn restaurant . The area is a lovely natural area to visit.

Usually very good but this time I was not happy with the majority of the dishes, sauce on the barbecue ribs was burnt, batter on sweet and sour chicken balls was thick and stodgy, crispy beef was far from Crispy, phoned to complain but didn’t receive any satisfactory response

Food was absolutely amazing. Best Chinese around. Staff were all welcoming and friendly. Totally child friendly. Definitely be coming back. Thank you for making us all feel welcome

I asked for paneer as I'm vegetarian but just sent chicken, when I called just said they were out of paneer. Then put the phone down. Why not ring me?

Lovely hotel. Impeccable service. Decor in the rooms is very tasteful. Staff polite and helpful. Sufficient car parking. Located centrally. Complementary small bottle of Adnams gin in the room is the perfect touch. Would highly recommend

If you love our visit North Lowestoft and fancy some really good fish & chips, you won't beat going to Pips in Queens Road, beautifully cooked and very reasonable prices. Try the XL Cod but only if you're hungry! !
