Absolute cracker of a cafe. Some might say a hidden gem but if you know you know. Always our go to cafe when we have a day off together - fast, fresh, fantastic food.

Amazing Thai food and great service .Staff were professional and welcoming Highly recommended. We had the Pad Thai and Chicken Massaman.

Room was fantastic but it lost a star 'cos the curtains let in too much light in the morning. Atmosphere and welcome in the pub was"top notch". Restaurant was excellent.

I just moved to the area and noticed this as one of two pubs in the village. When I’ve brought my friends here, staff have been helpful and welcoming. The food is good and portions are sizeable. I liked that there was a safe outdoor area for my friend’s child at the back. Make sure you book for special occasions, such as other’s Day, else you won’t get a table.

We stayed for a night time escape from babies. It was perfect, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The food was outstanding and delicious! Melt in the mouth meat, full of flavour. Breakfast room service was pure heaven!

Lovely place. Lovely food. Lovely friendly, polite, patient, helpful and smily staff. It is very rare that you have good experience with the staff in london as majority of the time the staff don’t seem to be smiling and seem too arrogant or lost in their own world. But not here. I was taken by surprise to the warm service received by the young staff here. Very welcoming and just because of their service I will be returning here for sure. However only a little moan as to if there was more clarity as in what food items are vegetarian then we would know more of what to order. Menu is quite short but could do with more veggie options. Also the food is quite Pricey. Paid £13.50 for Jacket Potato with Beans & Cheese with side salad. But other than that it is situated in the Orsett Hall which is a beautiful location itself and you will not be disappointed.

Went for the carvery on Sunday afternoon. Absolutely fantastic. Great food and plenty of it!! Trevor and the team really smashed it out of the park.

To be waited upon is a luxury that working class people feel uncomfortable about. But you can get used to it ! 😃 top quality food and top quality service . Enough said

Went here for our anniversary and it was brilliant the food was out of this world the service was impeccable. It was clean and welcoming already booked to go to a theme night definitely our new regular
