Great evening watching Elite Elton in the marquee.Beautiful salmon and veg followed by orange tart(generous portions).Strongly disliked the smoke machine but otherwise a fantastic evening.

Love everything about this restaurant! The staff are lovely,the food is amazing,and the vibe is great!! Eat here a lot with various friends on a Sunday or a Thursday for Thai night! Both amazing meals,never disappoints!!

I've been to the swan many times. Thai Thursday is always a favourite. The food is always amazing, especially the chicken massaman curry. The service from Victoria is always exceptional. She explains everything on the menu if you don't understand it, and we never have an empty glass as always there, offering to get more drinks just as you need them. I ordered a takeaway for my boyfriend as he hasn't had it for a while and was a little disappointed that the price is the same and portions are smaller. He can have Chinese next time as half the price. All in all the food is lovely and we will come back again and eat in the restaurant.

Had a fantastic meal here last night. I’d highly recommend the crab and prawn salad starter and the chicken supreme, both were absolutely delicious. The service from Demi and Abbie was first class and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their meal; the singer was also a great addition to the evening!

When we entered this great establishment we were informed that there is only a reduced menu. The meals we all had were absolutely wonderful and well presented. The service from all the staff was top class.

Had a lovely meal here! There was a limited menu as they had recently had a fire in the kitchen area, however there was still adequate choice. I am gluten & dairy intolerant and chef still gave me plenty of options. Staff were polite and cheerful and attentive. We have already booked for a repeat visit!

Having had a fantastic experience previously, we wanted to return with different family members. However, having chose similar starters as previous visit, this was completely different, not of same quality and neither hot nor cold. The prawn cocktail was less than impressive, compared to previously. The main meal was cold but we thought the gravy would heat it up but that was even colder and when we addressed this with the waitress, she removed from the table to return with either the same gravy or just one that was equally as cold. Carrots were almost raw. I like a crunch to my veg but this was beyond a joke. The waitress couldn’t seem to get one of our orders correct, even from recognising that no one was drinking coke but several of us drinking Diet Coke and when we asked for another, we were brought regular cokes. Lastly, we order cappuccinos and de_caf latte. We received neither! The cautions was best a milky coffee and the latte was put down as a black decaf coffee with a jug of milk and only when it was supposed to be a latte, was we told that they didn’t do decaf latte. Really disappointed and won’t return here again.

Great Service, Great Food, Lovely atmosphere, we walked from Stanford le Hope to build up our appetites, we sat in the Snug with friends chatting, good thing as they had live music in the bar which nice to have in the background.

I was very disappointed on visiting the Swan pub for Sunday lunch as took along while to get a drink before the meal . I ordered roast beef but this was tasteless and tough to even try to cut up with my cutlery and vegetables were bland too .

Very good choice on menu, excellent choice of specials, great atmosphere, friendly staff and food was delicious, only negative is was left at the end of out meal, had to keep getting attention for extra drinks and the bill whick we went to the bar to pay?, only a minor problem though as staff attentive until that point . Look forward to returning

What a great find! I am not sure why we had never been to the Swan before, but I am glad we found it. The occasion was a birthday meal for my husband, and we were not disappointed. All the food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and drink. We hope to visit again soon.

Burns Night!! Well what a lovely surprise for a Thursday Night. Had a great time, in a great atmosphere with friends and a Piper to top it all. Food was full of flavour and sat next to a log fire.. Rusty Nail Whiskey shots, Meat & Tatties, Haggis and Scotch Eggs 10/10.. Staff you smashed it.. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Deep fried Mars Bars were not for us soft southerners! 😂🤣

Decided to go to the swan for lunch with a couple of mates and had the best experience. Staff are very welcoming, food was amazing and tasty, drinks are lovely. Couldn’t get better than that! Definitely recommend, to family’s, friends for a quiet meal or even a boozy night out!!

We had a booking for 8 people in the restaurant to celebrate a few birthdays. They couldn’t be more accommodating. We pre ordered our food but needed to make a few tweaks on the day. This wasn’t a problem for them at all. Service was great, staff are lovely as is the food. Ended the evening having a dance in the bar. The singer was great! A top evening with the best of friends in a great pub/restaurant 🌟

We booked a meal for two for my wife’s birthday on Thursday night Thai night. The restaurant and bar was buzzing warm and extremely friendly .The service from everyone was exceptional but the absolute stand out was the food Everything was fresh delicately cooked and was so tasty you could imagine yourself in Thailand Hats off the chef and everyone involved. Popped in for a much needed Sunday roast, having last visited during the Feast & Fayre in the Summer and been impressed by the food. Don't know why we've lived in Thurrock so long, yet never visited before. Excellent food, friendly service and a lovely cosy atmosphere. It looks like there's a full social calendar too - we will definitely be returning for more.

We have been going to the pub since we moved to Horndon 5 years ago. The Thai is incredible as are any other dishes on any other day! The staff are all lovely and always make us feel welcome as a family. (Victoria, Jodie and Alex especially!) The new bar manager yesterday afternoon however was incredibly rude and obnoxious, could do with some lessons in customer service and how to speak to customers.

The Swan is a regular place for us to have Sunday dinner. The food is always superb and the ambience is so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

Enjoyed the tapas evening very much. The guitarist playing Spanish music was a lovely touch. Paella and Patatas Bravas was very tasty . Not too keen on the sangria but I’m no expert and it was complimentary.
