The Swan Bar and Restaurant in Thurrock

Very good choice on menu, excellent choice of specials, great atmosphere, friendly staff and food was delicious, only negative is was left at the end of out meal, had to keep getting attention for extra drinks and the bill whick we went to the bar to pay?, only a minor problem though as staff attentive until that point . Look forward to returning

What a great find! I am not sure why we had never been to the Swan before, but I am glad we found it. The occasion was a birthday meal for my husband, and we were not disappointed. All the food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and drink. We hope to visit again soon.

Burns Night!! Well what a lovely surprise for a Thursday Night. Had a great time, in a great atmosphere with friends and a Piper to top it all. Food was full of flavour and sat next to a log fire.. Rusty Nail Whiskey shots, Meat & Tatties, Haggis and Scotch Eggs 10/10.. Staff you smashed it.. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Deep fried Mars Bars were not for us soft southerners! 😂🤣

Decided to go to the swan for lunch with a couple of mates and had the best experience. Staff are very welcoming, food was amazing and tasty, drinks are lovely. Couldn’t get better than that! Definitely recommend, to family’s, friends for a quiet meal or even a boozy night out!!

We had a booking for 8 people in the restaurant to celebrate a few birthdays. They couldn’t be more accommodating. We pre ordered our food but needed to make a few tweaks on the day. This wasn’t a problem for them at all. Service was great, staff are lovely as is the food. Ended the evening having a dance in the bar. The singer was great! A top evening with the best of friends in a great pub/restaurant 🌟

We booked a meal for two for my wife’s birthday on Thursday night Thai night. The restaurant and bar was buzzing warm and extremely friendly .The service from everyone was exceptional but the absolute stand out was the food Everything was fresh delicately cooked and was so tasty you could imagine yourself in Thailand Hats off the chef and everyone involved. We will definitely be returning 10 out of 10

Popped in for a much needed Sunday roast, having last visited during the Feast & Fayre in the Summer and been impressed by the food. Don't know why we've lived in Thurrock so long, yet never visited before. Excellent food, friendly service and a lovely cosy atmosphere. It looks like there's a full social calendar too - we will definitely be returning for more.

We have been going to the pub since we moved to Horndon 5 years ago. The Thai is incredible as are any other dishes on any other day! The staff are all lovely and always make us feel welcome as a family. (Victoria, Jodie and Alex especially!) The new bar manager yesterday afternoon however was incredibly rude and obnoxious, could do with some lessons in customer service and how to speak to customers.

Food was lovely, it was pie and mash night and thoroughly enjoyed it. As always the service was top notch. Would definitely recommend.

Visited here between lockdowns in 2020 and was overwhelmed with the refurb, change and service offered. Complete 180 and can’t wait to get back in there. A total change from the dreary, dated, sticky floors that once where here. It now feels welcoming and fresh.

After hearing lots of good things about the Swan Pub I thought I'd try it for myself and I wasn't dissapointed at all. The food was lovely as were the staff. I'll definitely be going back
