The best restaurants serving Default food in Colchester East of England

It leaves a bit of a sour taste paying £25 for one hour on a rowboat. I've been visiting Dedham infrequently for well over a decade now, and I feel like being stung on price takes away from the experience. Usually this is a very pleasant spot, however was most recently met by a seemingly new lady who I found to be snappy, rude and condescending to our party when enquiring about using the boats. She had her toddler running around the docks and the whole thing felt pretty rushed. It honestly put me off going again.

Staff had no interest in helping with allergy information. Was told there was no allergy menu and that there was “probably” nothing we could have. I pushed and was told they could not be sure what ingredients were included! I pushed again and was handed an allergy folder. No dairy free ice cream options at all. Only one sorbet dish. How out dated! And disgracefully dismissive of our young boys needs in a family venue.

I love Greg's but come on 5.70 for 4 iced doughnut and 3.60 for 4 normal jam everywhere esle their a pound terrible prices there's no need for these prices

Trying to find somewhere to eat that wasn't a Mc Donalds! Loved the speed of service and bottomless drinks. Enjoyed the chicken and the chips place was clean

Excellent Sunday roast. Landlady very friendly. Good service and nice decor. This pub has certainly had its problems over the past couple of years but it is now certainly on the up.

During the first week of August 2024 I visited the University, after almost 40 years of graduating. Used this restaurant two times. The staff are friendly but food needs more variety. The place is clean and possibly I go there again

Como es un internet café hay obviamente ordenadores junto a una pared para aquellos que desean navegar por la red.

Horrible cafe. Brunch is basically reheated & leftover breakfast items. Can’t be bothered to bring your food over; instead leaving it out in the open for plebs to breathe over.

Great food, kids enjoyed it, the staff were fantastic especially the blonde haired lady (didn’t catch her name) who treated the kids to a frosty!

Good trip to Black Sheep. Quick service. One of the few places that does a proper brownie (without salted caramel) plus a tasty matcha latte.

I told you you’d be skint by Christmas. Next time your dad throws tens of thousands at you for a business at least have the brains to not treat your punters like they’re not welcome. Also, there’s a time and a place for flirting with each other fellas.

The carvery was a joke, cold frozen warmup up food like a tacky pub I do not recommend it nothing fresh at all Atmosphere good Serve yourself Not value for money Location very good

Don’t even bother going into the restaurant you will be left waiting for a lifetime while the drive through gets served first. No point in having the restaurant. Waste of time! 15 minutes for a Big Mac meal not alterations. Pathetic!!!

If I could give minus I would, food absolutely awful cold and soggy rang up and wouldn't even replace some of the food was told no pay for basically what you get.. No meat had to reheat some or the family food as diabetic and waited 2 hrs would never recommend this place at all
