The worst fast food place I ever have ordered from the wings were dry , crispy and burnt didn’t even have no flavour to it just tasted bland . The one piece chicken was alright but clearly just drowned in salt to make it somewhat Edible and the chicken used in the burger was slightly burnt but was still edible not good tho but not the worst burger .

Customer service was so polite so well Spoken very very polite thank you for your service

Ordered for my son kebab smelt and tasted funny manager wouldnt acceot it no replacement sent only weak apology offered suggeted i go to restaurant to see how its cooked (insisted it was cooked fresh) wont be ordering again had to bin the food

After receiving the wrong order I was told that as the restaurant was closing to call back tomorrow and they’d give me my meal for free. I attempted to call the restaurant over 30 times and was ignored! Absolutely fuming! I didn’t receive my free meal nor did I get a refund! Complete an utter joke who runs a business like this!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered pizza delivery driver delivered to wrong address when food turned up it was cold he walked off with food threw it in the bin and was rude to a lady friend of mine it was her birthday will never order from here again although I've never really had a problem in the past with this established the delivery driver was rude so for this reason I'll be ordering from somewhere else from now on

soooooooo rude!!!!!!!!! a member of staff screaming down the phone at me asking if I want him to cry as an apology of getting my order wrong. also telling me to collect my correct order myself after waiting over an hour and half for the first lot. told me to wait another hour for the correct food or become his driver if I have a problem with how long it would take... bearing in mind I had already waited over 90 mins for the first lot. told me he didn't care about my custom as I was only 1 customer.

It’s service disgusting and unreliable have stolen our money and deny refunding us and Deliveroo can not do it themselves waiting 1hr outside for no reason

The driver didn't call when he was supposedly making his way to deliver, waited outside for an hour after calling the resturant and they said they were "coming any second now". They don't want to compensate at all with neither refund or food. I used to like ordering from here but after they stole from me, I will never be ordering from them again. If you care about your money, you shouldn't order from them either.

Unreasonable and money hungry, they’re not willing to corporate with customers for their terrible service and personal driver meaning deliveroo has no way of tracking or trusting the service. I advise to not order from here no matter what. They’re unwilling to refund £21 and can’t be done by deliveroo themselves as they are denying to do so.

Very nice food, I liked the pizza & onion rings but the order did take a bit to come, around an hour and a half. That’s why it lost a star as unfortunately this wait resulted in slightly cold onion rings but the pizza was nice and hot. Overall 4/5.

Great variety of different takeaway foods such as; pizza, burgers, kebabs, chicken, salad, fish and chips, and drinks. Loads of meal deals available. Very friendly and quick service today, and the guy serving even gave me a free can of Dr Pepper with my pizza! :-)

Ordered an extra large shish kebab for £8.90 and it was tiny. I dread to think what their medium size is like. I would attach a photo but the option isn’t available. It was nice but was not worth the money, especially as the majority of it was salad. Disappointed

There was absolutely nothing nice about this food. The batter on the sausage was burned and had a funny taste. Chips were burned. Southern fried chicken was just horrendous and to top it off...I cant stop throwing up.

Orded burgers for them ask for all salad on the burgers when open just lettuce in it I phoned the shop to ask were the salad was that was the burger come with if you more salad you have to pay extra for it and the chips were hard will not be ordering from them again

Ordered donner meat and chips, then spent the night being sick and with diarrhoea. Called the place the next day to advise them and not interested I one bit.

The pizza is perfect, it makes up for the fact that the delivery is like bingo.

Today I ordered a margarita pizza and 3 cans of coke,An hour late,i fone them to ask the whereabouts of my pizza,they asked me again what I ordered,I then turn up to my door 1 hour 20 mins,the driver went to the wrong house 🙈 My pizza was stone cold and instead of coke they brought Pepsi,my night was ruined 🙃

I have ordered form this pizza place so many times. Their pizza is absolutely delicious and offer a great value deal for a single man like me who eats alone. It’s all cooked to perfection and is very tasty. I can’t recommend this place enough and am very confused about the negative reviews.

The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered!!!!! After being sent the wrong meal, we phoned up and explained and the man on the phone told us that he couldn’t send us out the meal we asked for or even one similar. We said we’d take it to deliveroo directly and he hung up. The food that turned up was cold and not what we asked for. I’d never order from here again.

Ordered off of Just Eat. One of the Donner Kebabs had a bit of plastic in. Pitta bread was rock solid, as if it was stale. The Donner meat was dry and chewy and hard. All food came cold. Ordered here a few times and havent had a problem, but this time was horrendous.

Fish came in cooked, the batter was still raw on the inside, fish was freezing cold. I called the restaurant to see if they could rectify this issue, and the person on the phone decided to tell me I was wasting his time and he isn’t going to shut the shop up just so he can sort out unsafe food, when I requested a refund he said it was not possible, so I am now conducting consumer rights regarding this company! It needs to be shut down.

I ordered chicken from this shop last week. I will never, ever eat here again and it has really made me rethink about where I eat from. My drumstick was dripping with blood when I bit into it and when I showed the man he said it was probably just an artery and appeared to feel that was OK for me to eat, which makes me query their food standards. The man gave me some wings instead as I refused to eat what I had and all was OK (altho at this stage I was put off my food), when I ripped open the wing I found all wet blood in it. I threw the food in the bin and was worried for 24 hours if I'd be food poisoned. Luckily my health wasn't affected however, as stated I won't ever eat here and from now on I'm rethinking where I eat. My health is worth more than a cheap meal! I am concerned with the other views that this place is continually under cooking foods!

I got fish and chips and 1 fried chicken from Golden Fry. The fish had no taste it was very plain and I ordered a large Cod but as you can see on the photo it was pretty small. The chips were okay not too bad but nothing special. And lastly the most disappointing factor about this review was the one piece fried chicken. As you can see from the photo it was so small had no batter on it either it was just plain had no taste and was very disappointed that it was so small. Overall it’s not the worst ever take away but I would certainly not go there again for food.

Ordered and got a delivery ETA of 25 minutes. 45 minutes later I rang up and was told it was going to be another 25 minutes, and the man on the phone was pretty rude about it. Waited another 25 minutes and my partner rang up to say we wanted to cancel the order which the man refused to do. Again, he was very rude. Eventually he promised to have the order with us in 10-15 minutes. The delivery driver knocked on the wrong house, if I hadn’t seen him out of the window and let him know he was at the wrong address, I’m 100% sure he would have driven off with our food. Food itself was okay, definitely not worth the hassle. Will never order from here again.

Normally when I order pizza in for the family it ends up costing me around £50! A girl I work with recommended this place and I got excited as they do 18 inch pizzas. The pizza cost me around £12 and fed my family of four. I also ordered wings and chips to complete our meal, leaving my take away that was delivered at just £20! The pizza was yummy, and complimented by the garlic dip. I will be using this place again.

Worst takeaway I have ever had in Colchester. Avoid at all costs. Ordered on Friday night, waited an hour and a half for food, then we got the wrong sauce on all the chips, the wrong pizza and salad all over the kebab and mayo when asked for it plain. Called them back, and owner was rude to me before slamming the phone down. Never ever use this takeaway, far quicker, cheaper and better alternatives

1.45 to deliver food burnt with chips so bad they were hollow. Burgers had nothing In them other than Pattie with no sauce or garnish. All the food was cold and inedible. Refused refund and would only offer to recook and wait a long time again. Asked to talk to owner and said they would pass message but up to him if he calls back and hasn’t . Having looked at reviews on just eat this seems a typical experience for many. I just wished I had looked. At the reviews first! Worst example of customer service and poor quality food I have ever experienced.

Ordered 2 chicken burgers and a large cheesy chips the chicken burgers came pink and the cheesy chips were cold. It’s a shame as they are normally lovely but will not be eating from here again

After being told that my food was on its way when I still hadn’t received my food (I live 5 minutes drive from the restaurant) I called them to ask how long the food would be, the man on the phone said he didn’t know and that he thought I talked too much, 10 minutes later still no food, I called again - the man was really rude again and this time hung up on me. The food finally arrived and I wished it hadn’t, the chips were stone cold and the chicken was grey, the wrap was soggy and stuck to the paper, completely unedible. I didn’t bother ringing them again but would never ever order from them again!

I strongly recommend not to buy from this Pizza house because it takes 2 hrs for them to deliver a cold pizza on a Monday and when they try to deliver they don’t have the number to call . Neither a courtesy to let u know if your order will be late. Don’t waste your money on it.

Do not recommend. I arrived here at 1745hrs in the 28/11/18, with my three children to order some pizza, we stood at the counter for 5min waitingbto be served. The shop was empty and noise was coming from the back. I called out a friendly hello. A mans head came round the corner and went back in the store room. I called out again and he stood there again. I said “are you open” it was greeted with a e blank stare, he then proceeded to wipe his hands on some blue roll on the side, and angrily threw the paper on the floor, he had such a angry face in I asked him are you annoyed. He replied “what do you want” I then said I would like nothing now. He said fine bye. Rude and messy shop do not recommend. Food looked greasy too and chicken old from day before. Stock all over the counter with empty boxes.

Seriously go elsewhere or go hungry. I can't state this enough. Just had chicken and chips and it was all clearly reheated from the day before. I couldn't eat it at all. Appalling. Food took almost 2 hours to arrive for an order that would take most places 40 minutes. When it did arrive, the food was not only cold but soggy. Wet onion rings, soggy chips and the chicken barely even passed as chicken. Do yourself a favour and order from absolutely anywhere else.

Can't give a star as ordered for delivery. Was told an hour wait, which was fine. Then called asking where it was to be told it's going to take a further hour and they wanted to charge more. So cancelled order and was told they didn't care. Would steer clear of.

The pizza was over an hour late. And the man I called was extremely rude. Instead of apologizing for the pizza being late (which there was not an apology this whole time) the man was extremely aggressive instead. This restaurant should be shut down. The food quality is remarkably bad, they are late, and they don't apologize for there crappy business. If you have everything THIS BAD you might want to consider hiring someone who will apologize instead of being rude. Do not make the same mistake we did. Do not order from this pizza place. Honestly, the worst experience I've had with a pizza place.

This place I will never order from again to start with when my food arrived I got half my order and some of it was wrong . Pedimos a las 6:30 que un tipo dijo que será de 1 hora máximo, jajaja 7:40 no hay comida así que llamé, explicó que desde fines pero en camino será cualquier momento ahora. 8:03 todavía no hay comida llamado de nuevo el tipo era como "sí lo es", así que dije que m cancelar mi orden que tuted y argh! 8:10 la comida todavía aparezca que lo tuvimos lo explicamos ya hemos cancelado, pero el conductor no tenía idea! Pésimo servicio en el teléfono. Nos prometieron una hora máximo, entonces no apareció hasta un físicamente 24 horas y 40 minutos.

The supposed 1/2 pound burger turned up as 2 over cooked, small burgers in a dry bun which was hard & inedible. The chips were luke warm and soggy, which I also did not eat. The pizza was extremely greasy but managed to eat that (just! even though I was starving). I am now going to have to cook after paying for a treat to get food delivered! Complained to them and because they already had my money they were not willing to do anything to rectify it. Will not be buying or eating from them ever again.
