Worth going for the calibre of the wine alone, but the food was delicious too. They were more than happy to cater to my extensive dietary requirements. And the atmosphere is lovely - a smallish place, tucked in on the corner near the train station. Our new favourite restaurant!

A traditional “greasy spoon” offering tasty, no-frills food - for this reason, it stands out amongst all the trendy cafés on Mill Road. If you want smashed avocado with chili oil on sourdough toast, this probably isn’t the one for you, but if you’re after a full English or a sausage butty then look no further. We usually plump for the meaty club with chips and have never regretted it!

This spot was truly mangoes and the food was so scrumptious i almost nutted in my pants. like i’m being so fr if you haven’t gone ur crazy however as the afternoon sunlight glinted on my yellow blob of a burger the wind was malicious and it threw THEIR VERY OWN barbecue square all over my white pants. since that point i have been washing the pants everyday with two times the amount of bleach. if there is anything you can do to help or ur having a bad date. please call angela

Best carbonara that I ever ate. The tiramisu was wonderful as well. Both plates had the taste "Al punto giusto". Service as well outstanding

everything was lovley but on the create your own burger i ordered pinapple ring and it wasnt on the burger but other than that it was lovley

I cannot recommend this place enough. The food was delicious. We had lamb and chicken shish, cooked to perfection, beautifully marinated and there was plenty of it. I particularly liked how the chicken was cooked with lemon. This is our second time and we will probably go back weekly.

My first time in Cambridge and I have never felt so welcome, as I did at the Royal Standard 😀 ♥️💙♥️💙🎉🥳🎊 I'm literally told everyone and will definitely return. The staff and the locals are honestly a vibe. If I didn't have to get my train back to London I would have stayed all evening. Next time I will bring my friends 🧡

Great combo of pub, excellent food, relaxed atmosphere and well kept beer. Service (Abhilash?) was friendly and efficient without ever being imposing, but when we left, accidentally leaving a handbag , A. came running up the street with it! Great starters, Kale Chat and Paneer Bao v. special - fresh and lively. Mains Veg curry, Dahl and Paneer all distinctive and very tasty, cooked to our level of heat (medium hot). Paratha elevated to something very special Thank you for really enjoyable food and a great evening.

Friendly service and such fresh, super hot, tasty, crispy cod and chips. Halloumi fries and tuna burger also excellent. Excellent local restaurant/take away.

After having chicken chow mien and sweet and sour chicken balls on Thursday evening I will not be ordering from here again I ended up being very ill which turned out to be good poisoning.

Nice pub , love it because it's very dog friendly! Good beer and cider selection.
