Ordered Luxford Burgers online as we wanted something a bit naughty. Disappointed on arrival. The beef Burger, he Highlander, was overcooked and chewy. Worse was the chicken Burger, the Fight Club. Picture to show (not great lighting in my house) but the chicken wasn't cooked all the way through, still raw in the centre. So I'm still hungry. Currently waiting to hear back from them and Deliveroo

The good itself was good but don’t get delivery orders from here they took 2 hours to get me my delivery. They did not communicate properly and weren’t transparent at all. Other than the service the food was good.

We've ordered delivery 3 times in less than 3 weeks. The burgers are just incredible!. The packaging makes the burger arrive in perfect conditions, still juicy, great taste and warm. Looking forward to order more times and to try them at the place. 100% recommended.

Honestly its very nice, you may find little expensive but pizza deals are quite good as well as kids menu. The food is extremely tasty...not like other in town. 30 mins free parking opposite on the road.

Ordered a burger and fries at 1930, From a place that does burger and fries. It was supposed to arrive at 2010. 2015 called and asked where it is. Told its 10-15mins away. Due to traffic Called at 2035 - said it’s a further 10-15minutes away and then hung up. There has been no increase in traffic works from the restaurant to my house Honestly it’s really poor service Food arrived at 2107 - cold - soggy Sorry, but if I could zero stars I would. I will not be ordering from here again.

Nothing gourmet about their beef burgers.... Ordered 2 burgers with extra cheese, bacon and bbq sauce and chips. The order arrived much faster than promised, this is the only positive. Burger patties are not GOURMET, not even decent. Taste and look like frozen patties. My burger also had a small bone in it, the other one had burned bacon. Glad we haven't broken any teeth... As for the chips? Reeking of fish.... should be fried in different fryer. 2 stars for edible food and fast delivery but avoid if u want a nice beef burger. Their chicken burgers are much nicer. Ok if you are very hungry but not great if you want a half decent meal. Also looks lime, based on my few experiences with this restaurant, lots of fake 5 star reviews here and on Just Eat!

Delivery in 20mins, with a 13 hour shift, couldn’t be happier. The Beef Sizzler Beast is the one. Don’t be too worried about the “spicy” label, the mix of caramelised onions makes the hot flavour fizzle out for the next bite! Absolutely banging grub! Brioche bun is made of bread, not plastic like others. But it still holds together.

I ordered the Garlic Signature Burger (chicken patty), curly fries with garlic and herb dib and a bounty milkshake and everything was absolutely delicious. Better than McDonald’s and Burger King combined, honestly worth every penny 😋

I have ordered from this resturant at midnight, and waiting for two hours until it’s closed. No one shows up and they just mark my order as delivered even though it’s not. Contacted them many times for a refund. Unfortuntally they are not cooprative and not respectiful.

It is not Halal they do not have halal certification plus they serve pork.

The burgers and wings are probably around the same standard as shake shack, chicken burgers use breast meat as is usual in the UK. Great for 1am deliveries when almost everywhere else good is closed!

Our milkshakes were really terrible and pretty bland. Curly fries ok. Burger didn’t taste great and the buns were just awful. I’ve had much better elsewhere and felt that cheap ingredients were used for everything in our meal. Won’t be going back.

An Ok burger. The description of the burgers on The menu looks promising and everything is well made but it is a pretty average burger, there are better ones in Cambridge. 3 star burger, the extra star is for the quick delivery and the very crispy bacon

I’ve been looking for a halal gourmet burger place and I’m good I found this one. We ordered a takeaway for the first time from this place and it was delicious. The food came hot. Deffo going to order again!

Have ordered a few times for home delivery. You dont have to wait long and the food arrives nice and hot. The burgers are lovely and presented really well and the side portions are big. I would recommend this place.

Ordered burgers from here before and have always been ok but in November we gave them an order through Just Eat . The order turned up an hour late , when it eventually turned up the food was stone cold , the burgers were over done to start with but even worse when they were cold . The warmest part of the order was the milkshakes .We called the buffer place to speak to the manager and was told “ no manager here we not have one “ , then when I persisted magically one turned up and when I explained the details I had to push for a refund , guess what over a month later and still no refund , I was told Just Eat have to do it and Just Eat say Gourmet Burger have to do it . I hate being messed about and would not use again even if it were the only place open. !.

Essentially £8.50 for a not particularly special patty that I could have bought for a couple of quid from co-op. Really disappointing. Would much more recommend Honest Burger for those with gluten intolerances.

Ordered the ‘Big Chick’ burger. Was pretty average. Plenty there but the chicken was very chewy (probably cooked and then fried) and not enough sauce in the burger. Was pretty disappointed for £11. Sweet potato fries are good though

The burger and the buns are good though not very good value for money. Supposed to be premium but the sauces are all the same you get from the kebab shops.

As someone who prides themself in trying almost every quality restaurant in Cambridge, I do not believe that the 5 star reviews are accurate. Yes, the delivery was quick and the packaging was neat, but that is a low standard to hold a restaurant to. Sacrifice your time for a better experience elsewhere. This is on par with the average kebab shop in Cambridge in terms of price, quality and selection. If you are looking for an average burger, this will meet that desire. Very similar to Chosen Bun. Unfortunately, my fries were also a bit cold. I will not be ordering again. Even if the meat was better quality and all the food was hot, this restaurant can receive a Max review of 4 stars. It’s not bad, just isn’t the one.

I’m a nurse in the NHS who managed to take a break to collect one food for myself and colleagues (not easy in the current COVID climate). Ordered online.Collected and returned to work, to find that the order was missing an item.Telephoned, and the expectation was that I return to collect it.This would not have been possible (or reasonable actually).I asked for the item to be delivered, and they were unhappy about this - “it’s just one thing”. Pointed out that this was not my error, and that I hadn’t been given the food I paid for.Was told I’d, instead, be credited at a future order - this didn’t help, as we were at work and needing to eat. There were no other options to get food, so one of us would be going without the food that had been ordered and paid for.Asked again for it to be delivered.Clearly weren’t keen, but agreed - telling me that it wouldn’t be straight away but in about 45 minutes. Was okay with that.The food never arrived.Left work several hours later, not having been able to eat.Terrible customer service, clearly had no intention of rectifying their error, and happy to rob me of my monies.

GB&F is part of the Pizza Company and seating is extremely limited. The menu has only one halal burger, the lamb. They can use the lamb patty in any other burger but the price is the cost of a beef patty. The burger is a good size, the portions were very generous, the milkshakes were rich but tastes too creamy so I couldn’t tell which flavour our two milkshakes were. These burgers don’t stack up against gourmet burgers from the bigger cities but for Cambridge you can’t go wrong. The chips were tasty and not at all soggy and the service was quick.

So I ordered online. At 1:30 in the morning and my request was ASAP. anyway, I didn't end up getting my food in the end. I just don't get why they let me order at 1:30 if they can't get my food to me in and hour and 15 minutes good thing I didn't pay by card otherwise I would've been proper ripped off.

Great selection of burgers, sides and milkshakes and the quality never disappoints. Service is always really quick and doesn't leave you feeling lousy afterwards. Gourmet.........?.the order arrived promptly.We found the burgers very tasty,we liked the King especially. The fries on the other hand were very lacklustre a little limp,skinny and wishy-washy, obviously cooked from frozen.The choccy drinks-expensive and tasty.All environmentally friendly cardboard packaging though, (except drinks).

If you love burghers and you need a take away, that's the place to order from! Wide selection of meat and toppings combinations. Burghers are very generous and they can feed also very hungry guys! Cheaps are great and sources comes for free.

Really good food here, little pricey but you get proper portions and quality meat in your burgers so it is very much worth it. It’s hard to spot as it’s under the pizza company signage, but go in as you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Halal menu on offer so we were very happy customers. Would be great if they had a baby chair on site so you can bring the little ones :)
