The best restaurants serving Default food in Billericay East Basildon East of England

Excellent variety of food , delicious cakes and good coffee. Well decorated cafe, clean and efficient service. After having visited a couple of times during a stay with my family who reside in Billericay. - I feel I have to agree with the TripAdvisor comment made way back in March of this year - some members of staff are abrupt - not to us personally but to one or two of the other customers. One subject was confusion over being able to make a booking..... I feel perhaps the ‘team’ need to jell more and work with the same set of rules. Otherwise I loved it!

Just to mention to anyone looking to book this first rate restaurant there is presently a closed for refurbishment sign with no other details as to a reopening date. Hope its not too long as its always well worth a visit.

Was having a lovely night until i got pushed and racially abused by a lad who was younger than my child. The door men overhead a conversion later and asked what happened and once I explained they said the people would definitely be barred. That made me feel like I was a valued customer and the staff were genuinely concerned

Sadly a terrible restaurant experience, and probably the worst valentine's day meal I've had, due to poor management. The most frustrating thing was waiting 2 hours for food (noodles and a green Thai), while watching countless takeaways and deliveroo orders leaving the premise. To top it off, when the food came, my husband was given a saucepan of curry and a basket of rice (in a plastic bag), without a bowl to eat it from - we eventually got, a plate... Shame, because it was good here last time. Management needs to focus on those that have travelled in for a dining experience (especially on valentine's day), and not how many deliveroo orders they can get out while people sit, wait, and watch food they could be eating leave. All tables in eye sight had no sign of food either. It was really shocking! We won't be going back.

Always use to order from bayleaf until it started arriving cold. Thought would give it another try Tonight it was luke warm and had no flavour whatsoever. Very disappointed and unfortunately won't be ordering again.

Great food , extensive menu, good comfortable service, lovely atmosphere, a traditional Turkish restaurant.

A second visit in few days.very friendly staff and the food was excellent.

First time going here and I was blown away the service was 10 10 alina was amazing she done a fabulous job at accommodating all off us (10)and giving the kids stuff to keep them entertained while we was there and checking to make sure everything was ok for us and if we needed anything the restaurant it self is incredible lovely and clean so welcoming food was outstanding kids loved that the chefs done bunny pizzas for them will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant

Second visit to this excellent cafe. Very clean excellent food and friendly staff. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

We ordered from their website and got a 20% discount which was handy. The website isn't setup for card payments so it was slightly confusing, but my order did go through and they phoned up to confirm thay the order had gone through, so absolutely fine. Food turned up bang on time. Four of us ordered and we all commented on how good the food was. I had a Lamb Rogan Josh and the flavour was amazing, much more than i usually find in one. No complaints at all and will be ordering from them in the future.

Unfortunately the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had tonight. Tandoori chicken that was as wet as haningfield reservoir and a tikka masala they could have come from a candy shop☹️ we have had so much better from these guys but this was just abysmal

Nice little cafe but they can expand on their menu it was very small coffee was amazing staff was very nice and less tables had to wait

Staff were nice but didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Fingers and hands all over the coffee glass rim. Three things I asked for they didn’t have. Had to ask for a glass for the bottle of lemonade (which was third choice). Sat outside because we had a dog and to enjoy the sun - in a cloud of staff Vaping in the doorway next to us and smokers the other side. Never returning, plenty of other places in high st that know how to run things properly.
