Best food I've had in a while and the service was excellent.

Lovely, friendly staff. Delicious food. Would recommend going there for dinner.

Excellent fish and chip night Thursday evening. Very busy and we had to wait a bit for our meal but it was fantastic and the landlord and landlady were lovely.

Had our wedding at kelham house country manor on the 15th September 2024 and it was the most amazing venue, Claire was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Our day was beautiful and everything we had wished for. A very very big thank you to Claire and her team for everything ♥️

Quite possibly the most welcoming pub I've ever been to, fives across the board.

Two rooms booked for 4 adults. My wife and I arrived first and thought we would check in whilst waiting for our friends. Discovered that they had overbooked and wanted to give us one room with two double beds. Tried speaking with 4 different staff members but nobody could tell us how this happened. The 2 men were extremely rude and just not interested. Would never book here again. They eventually found a room in a different hotel for our friends and we finished up leaving and booking in there as well

We recently had a takeaway from here for daughters birthday. Pleasant entrance and friendly staff both on the phone and at the counter. Sign saying phone orders only, you can pay by credit card. We had a large order with several dishes. Most were really good, the crispy aromatic duck wasn't quite crispy enough for me but the sweet and sour chicken in batter were excellent. Will use again.

Service poor stuck in a back room. Came to collect plates when people still eating. Won't be going back. Lost its charm no staff communication

The worst services ever the so called manager has nothing but attitude not helpful very rude they don't open when they should arrived at 11.10am should open at 10am was told no staff so can't open! Yet another stop for us lorry drivers that is no use to us please sell the franchise sack the rude manager and let McDonald's take over! Disgusting!!!

Food was warm at best, chips soggy and missing a burger. When i called about the burger. The person o the phone was very argumentative and rude.
