Excellent food and really helpful, friendly staff.

What a lovely spot for breakfast. Myself and my partner were very impressed. The staff were absolutely lovely… very friendly and accommodating. Cara was amazing. portions were 👌will definitely return.

Best place to take dogs 🐕 they are always welcome.

The cooked meals here are v good ,freshly cooked . Very friendly. It is closing on Saturday for good.

Honestly for the food it’s 5 stars. Reviewed as 4 as was quite let down by the person working on the front counter/coffee bar was not very cheerful. We visited the morning of November 8th. The food was AMAZING! And had absolutely no faults! The kind woman who took the booking on the phone was extremely cheerful and bubbly, however the woman working on the coffee bar was not so much. Barely cracked a smile and did not seem to want to engage in polite conversation. Will happily visit again, hopefully this was a one off! :)

My friend noticed this cafe in passing and we were looking for a place to eat, we looked at others but I got a good feeling about this place from the off. We walked in and noticed how clean it was, we walked to the till and was greeted by a friendly member of staff who was polite, friendly and chatty. He showed us the breakfast menu and I noticed an option called if I remember correctly The Mega Breakfast and I commented I could eat it, but that would be greedy so he suggested a smaller version called Fat Boy breakfast which I decided would do nicely with an orange juice as I don't drink tea or coffee. We chose a table near the wall at the front, and before long the waitress brought my mate her drink which was a capachino and it was extra hot, exactly how my mate loves it and a plate of toast. Then shortly afterwards our breakfasts came and we were disappointed, when I saw the size of my plate, my exact words were check out this Bad Boy Breakfast, too which my mate and the waitress burst out laughing as I'd just renamed the breakfast and it's stuck. She told the rest of her colleagues and they all thought it was a mint name as well, so in my head it's now called the Bad Boy Breakfast!! Our breakfasts were cooked exactly how we wanted them and it was clean plates all round. We will definitely be visiting again, it was busy and seemed to have their regulars, and again it was really clean which is such a must in our book.

Me and my mate went in on Tuesday for the first time. The food was incredible, Staff were very friendly and polite. The atmosphere was very lovely, will definitely be going in again.

Exceptional service from Charlie's on the hill, big thanks to both Charlie and Deborah who supplied the sandwich platters for our dad's wake. They also delivered to the venue which saved us a lot of stress on a difficult day for us. Sandwiches exceeded our expectations being very fresh and plenty of varied fillings which suited vegetarian guests also. Very good value for money, would certainly recommend. A cracking traditional local, but no real ales on offer.

Very busy on my last visit but got served quickly and really good 80s music playing

Food was cold by time it got here driver didn’t read the address properly so ended up with cold food as I had to wait for him

Had a kebab, it was ok to be honest, if I could just say tho the meat was cold. ( it would seem the warmer they put it into isn’t working very well at all .

Lovely freshly prepared curry, ready to collect when requested. Use this takeaway on a weekly basis & cannot fault the meal or value for money.

Best fish. best kebabs in the area. Pizza's are pretty yummy as well.

Really enjoyed our time in the Sun inn. The food was lovely great value and lovely we had 3 small sides and a burger the food was really nice and tasted delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful but Annabel was fantastic very helpful and friendly and really made our night at the sun inn so all in all a brilliant time. Thank you Annabel
