What a lovely spot for breakfast. Myself and my partner were very impressed. The staff were absolutely lovely… very friendly and accommodating. Cara was amazing. portions were 👌will definitely return.

Went for the Butchers Breakfast that YouTuber Mac master reviewed over a year ago. Since change of ownership and management not as good though. Black pudding thinnest slice ever, sausage very disappointing, best was the Yorkshire Tea and fried bloomer bread.

I have attended here with 2 friends on Friday for “afternoon tea” to celebrate my friends upcoming birthday. The lady who served our table “cara” who i haven't met before on my previous visits was lovely and bubbly. She couldn't so enough for us and her kindness.love for her job really came across. The other lady who worked in the kitchen (didnt get her name) was also so chatty/friendly and i loved the fact i could hear her singing to music in the kitchen. The food they presented looked amazing and even had the table next to us asking what we had ordered and had a chat with us. The whole atmosphere inside the shop was positive and welcoming. This is the first time iv attended since change in ownership but the quality of the food and friendliness of the place hasnt changed :). As always i will be returning again in future.

Great coffee. This traditional cafe is a little gem, positioned right in the heart of Eastwood. The service from Cara was exceptional. Thank you. 😊

Popped in for lunch, but had our dog with us. The ladies couldn’t be more welcoming and showed us to their garden seating area (most of which was under cover). Very pretty little garden and considering it is on a busy road, was very peaceful and relaxing. As we were studying the menu, one of the ladies asked if she could give our dog a treat, and brought him out a cooled sausage which was a lovely touch. Onto the food - really nice menu on offer, not cluttered with too many dishes to choose, but more than enough. My wife ordered a cheddar and caramelised onion baguette and I the ploughman’s lunch (not had one in years and couldn’t turn it down). Whilst we were waiting for the food our drinks came and were both excellent (latte and pot of tea). The waitress told me they hadn’t any home made sausage rolls and asked would I be ok with caramelised onion quiche (which she had made that morning) as replacement. My word, what a replacement! Just beautiful taste and texture. The portions were large and the quality was excellent. Lovely to have such good quality in a laid back atmosphere. We live too far away to make this a regular place for us, but would recommend to anyone in the area, you won’t be disappointed. So that was the “eats”… as we were leaving, my wife noticed the cakes (again, made by the cafe, not bought in) and decided to have a “treats” to take away. The coffee and walnut cake was lovely (she begrudgingly let me have a taste) and a generous sized portion too. Overall, a truly pleasant surprise. Staff who loved their roles and made their customers really welcome - 10/10!

We had such a great time at Eats N Treats Tapas evening last night! We had Sangria in their garden first - it looks so pretty! The food was absolutely gorgeous! More and more kept being brought out to the tables! We were stuffed, but couldn't resist and kept having "a little bit more" throughout the night. There was such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and, as always, the staff were amazing! Nothing too much trouble and everything done with a smile! Would highly recommend! x

Whilst having to pop in to Eastwood to pick up a raffle prize for a charity event im holding, we came across what looked like a tiny cafe, which in the brighter warmer weather has a massive garden for seating out the back in a pleasent garden area. The cafe has customer toilets and also free wifi. The 2 waitresses served us to 2 Butchers Breakfasts which was of good value and cost and the chef plus the 2 waitresses all came over us to check everything was ok. The owner then came over for a chat after she had chattered with a few of her regulars. The cafe is well worthy of a visit and when in the area again we will pop in. Must just add how polite the 2 young waitresses and the young chef was and a credit to the cafe

Visited the cafe for the first time for afternoon tea. We were presented with a great selection of sandwiches, savoury pastries, crisps, salad, scones, fruit and cakes. We didn’t manage the cakes so they were boxed up for us to take home. The afternoon tea was very good value for the quantity and quality of the food. Cara and her colleague were polite and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed and were satisfied with our meal. Will definitely return as everything we saw being served to other customers looked lovely.

Lovely friendly staff, good meal sizes and very reasonably priced. However, it's very smoky in the cafe at breakfast time, left my eyes stinging and could do with a freshen up of decor.

Was desperate to sit down and had only intended to have a drink but really fancied a salad although it was 11am!¬ Were happy to oblige even though I think a special trip was made to fetch some out of stock items. Even offered to go out and fetch me salad cream when I asked for some as they were out of that but it didn't matter to me that much. Tuna and freshly boiled eggs on a generous portion of salad - absolutely freshy and lovely. Checked I was happy with my meal. Loo facilities clean and pleasant. Will uset the outside seating area on a pleasant day. Will definitely be back. Excellent value for money

This really is the best afternoon tea I've ever had, amazing selection and everything was home made. What struck me the most about this afternoon tea in particular is the savoury selection was also amazing! Homemade sausage rolls and homemade quiche to compliment the delicious sandwiches. Great service and staff too - I would highly recommend this place.

This review is about the recently opened deli next door to Eats n treats, run by the owner of this restaurant & her daughter. We came across this deli whilst in Eastwood today & was immediately attracted to go inside just by the very welcoming exterior. The interior didn’t disappoint! And the food on offer looked divine. We bought 2 homemade goats cheese tarts, which having just eaten were the best goats cheese tarts I’ve ever had. The pastry was so light & crisp, & the flavour of the rest of the tart was exquisite. It’s so lovely to see this independent shop open in Eastwood, I wish it every success as it deserves as it’s well worth a visit, not just for the absolutely wonderful food but for the warm & friendly welcome from the owners. Thank you!

We had a buffet for our shop opening day. It was absolutely amazing. Looked amazing and tasted amazing. I worked in the catering industry myself for many years and my wife and I are very keen foodies so we know good food and this was faultless. The staff are all lovely and very helpfull. In the past month I have ordered an afternoon tea, homemade pies, homemade cake box selection and sausage rolls all as takeaways to be delivered to my parents during lockdown. The service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. My parents said the food was fresh, homemade and just amazing. There was always enough to last them at least two days. I was able to order online from the Highlands of Scotland and it was delivered to my parents in Kimberley! Just perfect service and fabulous food. I cannot recommend highly enough. So quick and easy to arrange. Thank you.

The night before last, 22nd May was our 3rd pie 'n' mash friday on the trot - hint! My niece swears by the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner every week and I'm doing the rounds - WWCD, steak and stilton, and chicken, bacon & leek so far! Next week it'll be steak and ale. Oh, and the chips and gravy are great too, I'm a chip man myself. I order one of the delightful cake boxes for delivery. We had a great selection not choose from. The cakes arrived on the specified day on a lovely box and they was delicious as promised. Will definitely be returning and hopefully eating at the cafe once life is back to normal.

Second week in a row to have this amazing takeaway! I’m gluten free and vegetarian and nothing was a problem at all they worked around all of that! Can honestly say one of the best takeaways and cafe’s i’ve ever been to, Never disappoint whenever we go. Thankyou so much:)

Came in with the mandem and was after some big desserts. The vibe felt off for us nothing personal with the place just not our kind of scene ya know. The food was okay but feel like better munch elsewhere. Besides that the price for quality is bless.

I'm a third year media student at UoD and we have to shoot a 10 minute film as part of one of our modules. Elaine kindly let us use the cafe as part of our film and stayed behind to close up after we finished... All she asked in return is that we buy some food and it was delicious!! Had a lovely afternoon cream tea here today for my daughter arranged by her friends for her baby shower,lovely place with friendly staff ,the tea was lovely with cup of tea and glass of Prosecco ,we had 4 different sandwiches along with quiche,sausage rolls,cheese straws ,then we got little cakes along with lemon meringues and scones jam and clotted cream .They even stayed open for us after closing time ,will definetly return Thankyou

Visited this lovely cafe last week to have some lunch with my friend I had the homemade quiche chips and salad which was beautiful and a very kind portion.

I just had to leave a review for this absolutely amazing place!! I come from Scotland and have been on holiday visiting friends, I just happened to stubble upon this place and all I can say is WOW, I looked at thier wonderful menu and decided to treat myself to the Stilton Mushrooms and it was absolutely beautiful, the staff were so welcoming and friendly and kept making sure I was ok, I couldn't recommend this place as highly is I do, I definitely will be visiting again in the future.

Was googling places to eat lunch locally to treat my sister for her birthday and Eats n Treats came up so decided to give it a go. What a find!! Good first impression outside with all the flowers. Staff were very friendly and helpful, courtyard out back looks lovely (might sit out there next time) and the food was amazing. We chose the potluck picnic table and couldn't believe the variety, quantity, presentation and quality of what we got - absolutely excellent. We both had to ask for doggy bags. Will definitely be going back again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for good food,good value and good service.

Sat outside in the lovely courtyard, which is a wonderful little sun trap. A lovely variety on the menu, the food was delicious and the cappuccino & latte was amazing and extremely good value for money. The staff are very friendly with a relaxed atmosphere the cafe offers a great vibe! Well worth a visit.

Pre-booked a Royal Afternoon Tea and couldn't fault it! Definitely worth upgrading to Royal as you get extra savories (we got quiche, sausage roll & pork pie as well as a mix of sandwiches) along with an alcoholic drink of your choice. I opted for Rhubarb & Custard Gin and my mum had a glass of Rosè. It was 32° so a little too hot for us to sit out on the garden, although it looked like plenty were enjoying the sunshine. Welcoming and helpful team. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Recently visited for a sunny lunch date, the outside is lovely and the back seating area is much bigger than you’d think, menu has great choice. Wasn’t made to feel very welcome by any of staff but it didn’t matter too much as we were out side left to enjoy our food.

What a wonderful gem of a place this is! Visited this morning & sat in the walled garden which makes you feel as if you are in a European city, not Eastwood! Lovely friendly atmosphere, nice & helpful staff & the food is delicious. Hot chocolate was divine too. Quirky & beautiful decor mixed in with fantastic food, go & visit, you won’t regret it!

Rang to book a buffet lunch for five of our office staff this morning at 9.30am to collect at 12.30. Ordered a tray of sandwiches. Choices discussed ham with no butter, cheese switched for Vegan humous, and asked for nice soft brown and white breads. Staff very helpful and accommodating on diet choices. Also ordered some sausage rolls and a selection of cakes including Vegan flapjack. Nothing was too much trouble. When we got our buffet back to the office, it was beautifully presented with garnishes, totally fresh, the bread just melted in your mouth, the sausage rolls were flaky, wholesome & fresh and the cakes were interesting & fabulous. This wonderful buffet really lifted our spirits as we had a hard afternoon ahead of training and going through some mind boggling legal jargon. Everyone was well fed and happy. Absolutely lovely will do this again!! Truly scrumptious xxx

Went to an Italian night last night. As usual the food was hot and very tasty. There was plenty of it and we certainly didn't come away hungry. Staff made us very welcome. They do varied theme nights and are so worth going.

We had organised an afternoon tea for our ladies group from church and the only time we were able to make it was a Tuesday evening. They were so accommodating by opening up especially for us. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The staff are so friendly and those meringue on display look amazing. Would definitely go again. Best cafe in Eastwood. A hidden gem!

Went in today had the hunters chicken cant wait to go back to have it again staff were really nice and couldn't do enough to help really polite. Toilet facilities were nice and clean which is a must for me would definitely recommend

Popped in here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. An extensive menu catering for at least gluten free and vegan that I'm aware of.

Had the most amazing stilton mushrooms for lunch. As I am gluten free the staff changed the dish to accommodate my needs. Friendly, polite staff who went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. Will definitely be going back next time I am visiting the area.

Had a scrumptious and delicious afternoon tea and would recommend this to anyone. You can tell it was all homemade and worth your money having this brilliant food as it is only 9.50 per a person and value for you money. You need to book.Staff very friendly .

First time visiting today, pre-booked the 'Royal Afternoon Tea'. Very friendly and welcoming staff and really liked the decor inside. Very quick service and the food was absolutely delicious and all homemade. Absolutely fantastic value for money. Great choice of flavoured gins and I was not disappointed with the Blueberry Muffin Gin. It was great that we was given the option to box up the sandwiches and cake what we had left to take home with us. Will definitely be going back again in the near future and can't wait until the weather is nice so I can go and sit out in the garden with my dog and sample some more of the flavoured gins would highly recommend.

We had a lovely afternoon tea for mothers day today. We were served by very friendly and helpful staff. The food was lovely although a bit too much! We were able to take the remainder home, which helped to extend what had been a lovely experience.

First time we have visited and it was lovely. We ordered a baguette each it came out beautifully presented and the food was very fresh. This is our second time at Eats n Treats, just as amazing as the first time if not better. We were offered a drink on arrival, gin and tonic, always a winner, the food was amazing, the normal and gluten free. We were asked if we were ok/needed anything more than once but left alone to enjoy the food. The atmosphere is always nice, staff are lovely and helpful. Our extra cakes were ready for when we left and we could take home what we hadn't finished. We will be back soon for for more gin in the garden.

Been to Eats n Treats today with my friends from slimming world, there was a group of 10 of us and it was our treat.

Such a sweet place with delightful staff and gorgeous cakes and great taste in music. Would definitely recommend for a chill and a cake.

Had my hendo tonight at eats n treats and it was amazing. The team were so attentive and the food was amazing and great value for money. The cocktails were also to die for and very reasonable. The cafe itself is tidy and clean and very cosy.

We had the top priced afternoon tea! The sandwiches were poor, some had butter some didn't, the chicken sandwiches were dry and lacked presentation. The scones were nice, but pre packed jam and cream. The cakes were not up to much, not sure what the meringue/tart was but wasn't great either. Had no napkins, didn't ask if we required sugar for our tea either. Never came to ask if everything was ok. Staff presentation was poor too. Will not be coming again.

My mum and I were very lucky to win a Facebook competition and this was our first visit to Eats and Treats. Friends had told me how lovely it was and perfect for those wanting a treat without all the naughties. We chose the Slimmers Picnic and it did not disappoint! It was so tasty, a great variety and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend and we will definitely going back very soon! Thank you ❤️

Always great food.... offering slimmers options is fantastic. The slimmers breakfast is gorgeous....as is the slimmers afternoon tea. Had the slimmers pot luck picnic table today which was wonderful. Great selection of salads, meats, dips, eggs, crustless quiche, jelly etc.

Well firstly I would like to say this I have not had such an amazing breakfast as I did today at eats and treats . The quality of food was outstanding and the portions where great ! And the service was also outstanding . Elaine and her team ar3 very friendly and attentive. The sausages and bacon black pudding was delious well tbh i could not fault it in anyway we are big foodies and this by far was the best breakfast I have ever had . We ordered our drinks first while we waited for our breakfast and the coffees here are lovely. We ordered and choc milkshake for my son in law and it came out with cream on top ! And the smile he had on his face made my day!! He really enjoyed his breakfast. We all did it was the best morning out and I will be telling every one to come here and eat because it's delious. We would also like to say we have chosen Elaine and her team to provide our buffet for our wedding due to the high quality of food and remarkable customer service that Elaine has provided . We tasted the home made sausages rolls and quich and mini desserts last week absoulty amazing I knew from that day we had to have Elaine help with out special day . Visited Eats and Treats today while waiting to have the car serviced. I had the hunters chicken hot baguette which came with chips and salad. WOW! Great portions, quality and price. You won't leave here disappointed. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Our local animal rescue centre held our second Christmas meal here on Saturday. Elaine made sure that there was a fabulous choice of starters, mains and puds, all vegan, for our group. The cafe is cosy, prettily decorated and warm. The staff are lovely and welcoming and the food was wonderful. It's a privilege to be able to support a small, local business, especially when it's as good as this one. Highly recommended.

We had our volunteer group Xmas meal here on an evening. All the food was vegan as requested and was very good. Had a great outdoor part too. Staff were very friendly and took great care of us. Would recommend. We will hopefully be booking a summer event too!.
