Traditional British food café , hosted by very polite & friendly staff !! . The two café was a pleasure to visit , & was very clean & well set out with plenty of space between tables upon my visit . The decor is British modern contemporary & the vibe is cozy & relaxing with a bright interior that features some British inspired artwork which all adds to the two's atmosphere . The food on offer is very good value for money & is of a home cooked style & cooked freshly to order & not kept under heat lamps !! So you may have to wait a while as you would expect !! , This is not a fast food approach to your dining experience & it is good food cooked well & it works . The daily special is a good value option & I had a minted lamb pie with a basket of chips & a jug of gravy , the pie appeared to be hand crafted & had a good meat content , which was not processed !! , but quality butchered meat , which was most tasty , plus the chips served were done well with no oil or fat residue , which is a nice touch !! Gravy served on the side in a jug was also a nice touch , all making it a little bit special , especially for such reasonable cost . The café also has a good choice of meals & snacks all sensibly priced & the cooked dinner options are excellent value & are ideal for the single diner or families alike . So if you like traditional British food & good service @ reasonable prices then the two for tea may be the café for you . RECOMMEND FOR THE MINTED LAMB PIE !! Which goes well with a nice cup of tea to finish your meal the perfect pairing of British classics !! .

Lovely breakfast at Two for Tea. Delicious small English breakfast at a good price. Rather empty this morning, but it was very cold outside. Plenty to seating and lots of menu choices.

Lisa, Skye Mum and daughter team. Great service and wow let’s talk about the sausages, they are so tasty ! All food is fresh and locally sourced from butchers, you really can tell when you taste it. £8 for a large breakfast is perfect.

Always friendly and the food is good .

We called in for a cuppa for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We were made very welcome and so was our little dog Connie. While we drank our Coffee, the lady who was serving us gave Connie some Doggie treats and made a fuss of her, which was lovely. We were walking past last week, but our dog INSISTED that we went into Two4Tea!! So glad we did! Connie was recognised straight away (given treats, of course)and we had a well filled Bacon Roll and a slice of yummy cake with our coffees. LOVE this place,it's our favourite cafe now!!

Came here today based on good reviews especially for vegan options but am very disappointed, firstly as they couldn't give us cooked food as they said they were closing at 3pm and we asked for hot food at 2.20pm, so we ordered the vegan wrap and a panini and two coffees, the vegan wrap had fake chicken in and nothing else and was very dry served with a little bit of salad and a few crisps. We said we were very disappointed and they said as they were closing the kitchen there was no salad left even though we got salad on the side? No compensation was offered for our disappointment and the bill came to £16, I have never felt so ripped off and wonder where all those amazing reviews came from.

Beautiful cafe, very clean, light and airy with the most polite and friendly staff. We ordered a couple of things which differed slightly from the main menu but was accommadated fully. The wallpaper in the ladies loo is the best ive ever seen too! Will be going back next time im shopping in Stapleford! Thanks so much

Today was my first visit at "Two for Tea" as my friend recommended the place to me. I had an English breakfast and a pot of tea. The breakfast was very appetising and I could tell that only quality produce was used and cooked to perfection. The tea was quality natural leaf tea and tasted delicious. The toast was made with lovely bread with no cheap margarine (was Irish butter). The place is very clean, with nice decoration, light and airy. Also the owner / staff are very friendly and cheerful. They do not rush you and this makes a relaxing visit. I will definitely be coming back again soon. Please support this small local Stapleford business.

Nice choice of cakes and hot drinks, the reason for the rating is a bit of a bad experience in one of the products. Maybe was just a moment without attention for the ones making it. They offered me another one without having to pay for the first order. Never came back again in this place

The staff at this delightful tea shop are resourceful & imaginative. When the Corona virus struck in March they turned their hands from serving cuppa's & delicious pastries to selling toilet rolls, fresh fruit & veg, baked beans etc then went on to selling craftware, lovely clothing accessories, candles, kitchen accessories you name it they sold it! Also continuing the sale of their delicious homemade cakes sometimes from the doorstep always following the Covid safety measures. They recently before the second lockdown had a super Christmas sale.They have served the community well & worked so hard. When this battle is over we should support them too. Thank you Tea for two..

A nice gift shop in Stapleford. I only dropped by just the once to pick up some bottles of Full Mash's bottled beers, but the service was cheery and helpful.

What a delightful shop/cafe. If you need a special gift for someone this is the shop. Staff very friendly. It is a definite must.

Quality products and quality service!

Vanessa, the owner, if one of the nicest people you could wish to meet. During the recent pandemic she kept locals stocked not only with treats and cakes but also essentials such as loo roll, flour and yeast. There is an amazing selection of cakes for all tastes and dietary requirements, fabulous hand crafted gifts and the prices are very reasonable. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Absolutely love coming here, wonderful choice of teas and coffee, delicious freshly made cakes and scones as well as savory options, wonderful choice of jams, preserves, chutneys, gifts. Handmade jewelry, beautiful scarves, bags purses, cards and many other items. And on top of that the ladies who work there are just wonderful, so accommodating and friendly. An absolute treat without the expensive prices. You wont be disappointed!!

The best little tea room - fantastic cake with even better service. What makes this place is the atmosphere created by the staff. They are genuinely happy to see you and care about their customers. Have started doing some beautiful gifts now too. Stapleford’s not so hidden gem.

We visited here today on the spur of the moment as we had time after an errand and fancied a snack. I’m gluten free so we googled and this place came up - I’m so glad it did!! My non-GF friend and I both had paninis and they were absolutely delicious. I wasn’t sure whether to try the ham and cheddar one as I’m not a fan of strong cheddar, and Vanessa brought me out a sample of the cheese to try. Fabulous service! When we were the last customers left, Vanessa made no effort to rush us and was happy to chat with us like old friends. I also saw her get down on the floor to have a conversation with a very small child who was playing under the table. She’s the kind of host who makes you feel like you’ve known her for ages and you’ve popped round for a cuppa. We will absolutely be back, this time for a slice of one of the divine-looking and generously sized cakes. My friend enjoyed her latte. Gluten free and dairy free options were available, with a few choices for each. Very happy visitors!

Such a lovely couple of hours spent catching up with a friend over a spot of lunch, cake and a pot of divine tea.As a Coeliac I am always guarded when eating out and Two for Tea have always made me feel welcome and relaxed about eating there. Lots of GLUTEN FREE choices and beautifully fresh and well presented. Full choice of teas (leaf or Tea Pigs).The staff are warm, welcoming and wonderful. Just time to look around the artisan gifts and individual cards before it was time to go home and dream of the Walnut and Honey GF cake I just enjoyed. Thanks guys, I'll be back soon x

First visit today as I heard about the vegan options on offer. Wasn't disappointed. Actually, I was overjoyed. Whilst not a huge selection, they have plenty of sweet and savoury options to keep anyone happy, plus various items to buy in the shop. The dishes they do have are well considered and seem to be down to the experience of an actual vegan diet rather than the typical afterthought you get at most chains. Also: caaaaakes 🍰 Fantastic, helpful, genuine service too. It's their fault I cracked and bought a vegan apple pie. With cream. 😉 Will visit again. Support local!

Lovely atmosphere & excellent food

This was my visit as recommended by a friend, we were warmly greeted and seated and served, drinks were brought out in good time, I had enough time to go to the back of the shop for a look as they have many craft products Inc jewelry, card's, bags, candles and such, I had a coffee and a scone, the scone was huge and warm and delicious! Would highly recommend this place.

... If you're on a diet!! Their cakes are devine, the amount of choice is incredible and their scones are the size of a dinner plate!! The lady running it is really attentive and can't do enough for you, a gem of a find of Stapleford high Street. We love coming here.

The scones here are wonderful and served with cream and home made jam. We have now re visited this delightful little tea room and are going to go there again when we are in the area.

Nice selection of teas but the jam, cream and scone was unedable I've never seen anything like it thick and lumpy cream, disgusting jam and scone was hard and ridiculously shaped, horrible sorry!

What an amazing little tea room and lovely friendly staff my mum and I went for the afternoon tea today as a birthday pressie and treat for my mum we were not disappointed there was a good choice of sandwiches,cake and scones all very good quality and you can choose exactly what you like it's not just slapped on a plate randomly... the homemade cakes and scones are delicious ! What a wonderful surprise Two for Tea was!My colleague and I booked a table for our lunch hour as we work locally in Sandiacre and wanted to get away from the office for a change. We arrived at Two for Tea and found we’d been allocated a nice reserved table near the window. First thoughts were that the place was spotless and charming with nice, calming décor. The service was impeccable – our order was taken and our tea arrived within 5 minutes of this. Next our sandwiches came out. I had the pulled pork Panini which came out hot and was fresh and delicious. My vegan friend had toast and pate; both came with side salads and were generous sized portions. My friend said her meal was delicious. We followed up our lunch with a vegan apricot scone; I had regular clotted cream with mine, my friend had the vegan option. Both came with apricot jam and were absolutely fantastic. Again, very generous portions and everything was fresh and tasty. The staff were such attentive, friendly people. They were right there the moment you thought you needed something but were not intrusive. £22 for both of us - that's a lot of food and drink for £11 each!I love the fact that you can also buy cakes and more to take home and the gift shop offers lovely items such as keepsakes, candles, cards, toiletries, etc. I am so glad I found this place – it was so lovely. We’re looking at booking a table for 6 very soon! We will be back – thank you!

Always love our visits to this place. Everything about it is good! The owner, Vanessa, is so friendly & helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for her - she will do anything to oblige her customers. The food is amazing and most of it home baked or locally sourced - she caters for all types of diet from vegan to gluten free and dairy free - in fact she will virtually accommodate any requirements! There are lots of quirky little gifts around the tearoom for sale and a good selection of greetings cards too. Can’t recommend this place enough - the locals in Stapleford lovevthis place and everyone should try it !

I went in to buy a card for my mum and mentioned that I was new to the area- the lady gave me a voucher for a tea- great marketing. I came back with my mum and twins in a huge pram- we sat in the front of the cafe and had lovelySandwiches and drinks. This is a warm and friendly place with good food. A treasure on the high street in Stapleford. Thanks for being so welcoming!

Two for tea is a fantastic place to visit, the staff are friendly, Vanessa the owner is a wonder in the kitchen, she alway looks after us and the selection of gluten free food is amazing (definitely worth trying the cakes). So if your looking for a place to go for lunch would highly recommend here, it might be worth calling and booking a table to save disappointment it can get very busy. They also do gift vouchers which are a great gift for someone special 😀.

Lovely tea room for snacks or light meals. The homemade scones and cakes are delicious. The cake tapas (3 cakes and 2 hot drinks) is good value at just over £10). Pleasant room and good service. Open from 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday.

I have been coming here for 3 years-that's says so much about the food,the warmth of the welcome,the gifts and crafts,the teas- such a perfect place to be xx

Google helped us out here and led us to this cafe just before closing - wide selection of teas to choose from and we had an Irish Breakfast tea with cream scones and cake - lovely!!

Excellent place to visit. Wide variety of teas and other drinks with and a great selection of food to accompany them. Warm and cosy to go with the calm atmosphere, especially on a cold day. Easily accessible, clean and wonderful staff. Great for all ages and would definitely visit again!

Had afternoon tea here today with my mum. The inside is actually deceptively bigger than it looks outside, is clean, well set out and feels really cosy. The afternoon tea was really good, you get to choose the sandwich/sandwiches filling and bread you want, a cake each and a flavoured scone too. This all comes out on a proper afternoon tea set with crisps and salad and a choice of drink (so many tea flavours to choose from!). I'd definitely recommend the sweet chilli chicken sandwich and the choc orange cake. My mum and I chose each but shared....so we got a taste of different things...ive had to bring the scone and half a cake back as I was a bit full. The ladies who work there are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The gifts are reasonably priced too. I would definitely go there again. Top marks from me!
