I have been using Chef China for many years for my Chinese takeaway and home delivery. The staff are always very friendly on the phone, but very busy. Also it’s delivered normally in about an hour, pretty good for a small village 10 miles from Salisbury. Our normal order is Beef and Green Pepper, S&S mixed veg plus egg fried rice and prawn crackers. The food is always very well cooked, generous portions and hot. I have never had a bad meal it’s always 5* One last tip, order direct from Chef China they have there own delivery service.

Food was amazing and very tasty. Service was first class - our waitress was so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. It was our first visit and will hopefully be our first of many. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. It was up there with the very best meals out we have ever had.

The food here is AMAZING. Tastes just like the non vegan dishes. The crispy beef is spot on, amazing crunch! I order the meat version everytime it’s available at other restaurants so can attest that it tastes just the same 🍲 The salt and pepper chips are delicious. I also had the pork balls with sweet and sour sauce which was 10/10! The main star is the “duck”! I had the duck chow main and it completely tastes like the real deal with some help coming in from the hoisin sauce too. Ordered twice in a week because it was that good!! Next to try for me is the duck pancakes, kung po chicken and popcorn tofu. Yum!

We have had takeaway from Bao Bao 3/4 times since moving to the area and each time have been so impressed with the delicious, freshly cooked food. I am gluten free and I called to double check my meal options (even tough the menu is clearly labelled with icons to show food allergens). They were extremely helpful in answering my query. I don’t enjoy regular Chinese takeaway food which always to me tastes greasy and unhealthy. This is nothing like that, it’s fresh, you can distinguish what you’re eating and tastes amazing! Highlights - crispy seaweed and sticky crispy beef (served with Kung Po sauce) although last time they were unfortunately out of beef so they recommended chicken strips instead with the Kung Po sauce and this was just as delicious, thick chicken strips which were very succulent. It does appear to be slightly more expensive than you’re traditional take away, but it is absolutely worth it (after all why pay for something you don’t enjoy, when you can pay a little more for incredible food you’ll love). And as a huge bonus all food is ethically sourced and is served in recyclable cardboard/compostable packaging.

It is open! Title says closed but it’s definitely open. 12pm-8pm I love going to this restaurant. It feels like going to a small restaurant in another country. A nice relaxing atmosphere inside with a unique menu. The food is delicious. When I’m in Exeter centre, I pop in to get the Traditional Rogamo bun takeaway. I’ve eaten in the restaurant for dinner twice too! All the items are delicious! My favourite is the roast chicken with rice. If you’re a fan of noodles, the handmade noodles are an amazing texture too!! If you want to try more healthy Chinese cuisine different to the westernised Chinese menu - definitely give this place a try! Even if it’s just for the traditional bun - highly recommend for just £5. This place should be busier than what it is. The customer service is always 10/10 too. Wishing them all the best with this restaurant.

I'd popped in to Beijing Cooking Pot a couple of weeks previously - just to suss' it out, look at the menu in readiness for a bit of lunch when I had time. The reception I received was very professional but friendly and helpful, plus the food appeared to be freshly cooked and traditional. When I returned to eat, all of the above predictions were delivered, slightly demurely, along with some mouth-watering food! I had the spicy beef salad dish of the day and was asked what level of spice I wanted - I chose medium, which was nice and piquant and made me feel glad that I only chose medium, rather than try to show off and immediately regret it! Quantity-wise, there was a lot there but it was all very well prepared and very tasty. Aided and abetted by the pouring rain outside, I decided to go for the 'sweet of the day' which was deep-fried rolls with a sweetened condensed milk accompaniment. Despite being more than full I really enjoyed the crunchy and sweet textures and tastes. I did suggest that the rolls would go really well with ice cream. Definitely recommended! Great value-for-money for authentic freshly cooked food!
