We have had takeaway from Bao Bao 3/4 times since moving to the area and each time have been so impressed with the delicious, freshly cooked food. I am gluten free and I called to double check my meal options (even tough the menu is clearly labelled with icons to show food allergens). They were extremely helpful in answering my query. I don’t enjoy regular Chinese takeaway food which always to me tastes greasy and unhealthy. This is nothing like that, it’s fresh, you can distinguish what you’re eating and tastes amazing! Highlights - crispy seaweed and sticky crispy beef (served with Kung Po sauce) although last time they were unfortunately out of beef so they recommended chicken strips instead with the Kung Po sauce and this was just as delicious, thick chicken strips which were very succulent. It does appear to be slightly more expensive than you’re traditional take away, but it is absolutely worth it (after all why pay for something you don’t enjoy, when you can pay a little more for incredible food you’ll love). And as a huge bonus all food is ethically sourced and is served in recyclable cardboard/compostable packaging.

We were really looking forward to this takeaway and after tasting the crispy beef ( that was great ) I thought we were in for a treat. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case…….Crispy Squid…..( soggy chewy squid ) sweet and sour sauce ( runny and tasteless ) BaoBao dumplings ordered 8 got 4 ( actually that was a blessing ) and the list would go on. It’s a shame, but we won’t be going back.

Such a lovely takeaway!! Everything tasted so fresh and sooo tasty! I had the tofu satay with noodles and it was brilliant. I normally feel a bit yuck after eating a big oriental takeaway meal but didn’t feel like that after this. Will definitely order from here regularly!

I cannot speak highly enough of BaoBao House. Not only was the food sensational but so was the service. We placed a large order too late in the day and they not only accepted it, but when it took longer to complete than originally anticipated, continually kept us up to date and went above and beyond to get it completed despite being faced with closing time and end of shifts for the chefs! Can’t wait to try more!!

Had the meat selection and crispy beef... It was soooo good. The amazing naughty Chinese takeaway feeling without the bloating after. Service was fantastic can't be beaten 👌👌👌

This place is amazing ! Got a takeaway tonight with my mum with a selection of things and where blown away by all of them really warm food and so fresh! All the ingredients where cooked perfectly and better than we could have imagine. Will definitely be re-visiting soon

Absolutely delicious food, freshly prepared and cooked. Especially good vegan options too. Tried chicken, pork and vegan dishes and all were amazing, fresh and totally yummy. The lady who both took our phone order and cooked our meal was so cheerful and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

The BaoBao house is perfect.You can’t feel guilty about having a takeaway from here!Fresh cooked with local produce! A changing specials menu keeps you going back! Veggie and vegan so everyone can enjoy dinner!All the takeaway boxes are recyclable what else can you ask for!

I don’t normally get a Chinese takeaway but this one is different and I have to make an effort to write something here. Good quality and proper Chinese food. Thanks Sal and you make the Chinese proud. Keep up with the great food.

Just finish the best takeaway meal I have ever had in Dorset. I got told to give baobao a try by a friend and I am astounded by the quality of the food. We had the Peking duck in steamed roll it was amazing, crammed with beautifully cooked duck in a soft, light and fluffy bun an absolute delight, brilliant as a starter or I am thinking it would make an funky lunch time treat to make your day sparkle.I am a bit of a traditionalists and I love my chicken fried rice which wasn't on the menu but not a problem for Sal the chef who whipped me up a batch and I would have to say that was the best chicken fried rice I have ever had, the rice was cooked to perfection and you could taste the quality in every mouthful.There is no point in going anywhere else it will just be a disappointment get your orders in now before the queue is out the door and around the block.

We've ordered from BaoBao a couple of times now and on both occasions the food has been...amazing!! Like no other chinese I've tasted - fresh ingredients, and I feel like Ive eaten a decent meal afterwards. We order here over other local takeaways now - love the packaging too! Would recommend the custard bao for dessert - delish.

Quite unique in the area. Really good, freshly prepared and super tasty using decent ingredients. Friendly & helpful staff. Bao Bao cater for all diets and great value too - we'll be back!

What a breath of fresh air the Bao Bao house is!Far from the usual Chinese menu and I would advise that if you’re looking for the usual MSG pumped sweet n sour chicken then you’re at the wrong place.This place has a fresh look and taste with their menu! Catering for meat eaters, veggies and vegans everyone can get involved!The Baos are to die for And the 123 menu to choose your noodles/rice meat and veg etc is a great idea and fun for little eaters too!Local produce, freshly cooked everything, catering for all and biodegradable packaging!! Someone please tell me what’s not to love here.Thanks Bao Bao House for opening my eyes to what a Chinese should taste like

The best chinese ive ever tried by far Everything is so fresh and tasty its home cooked chinese made with good wholesome flavours cannot reccommend this place enough I am addicted!! All the staff are so friendly and polite wish Ihad know about it before

We have been ordering from BBH for months now and it never disappoints. The char sui pork hirata bao buns are to die for, and all the mains I've tried have been great. Especially love the satay sauce! This is our no.1 chinese takeaway, it has something special that the others don't. You won't regret ordering this food!

Incredible food, fresh definitely not frozen, good value and vegan options in Christchurch almost unheard of! I order mock duck curry (vegan) and salt and pepper squid weekly. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous food. It’s now our favourite takeaway. & we have quite a few in Christchurch. I Have recommended to all my friends.I love everything Ive ordered over the last 3 months But my favs are grilled pork dumplings, salt & pepper squid, roast char siu pork With any of the sauces & heart veg.

Had a takeout from here last night,on time ,hot and a complete contrast to other Chinese meals,the menu and food are different,highly recommend,looking forward to the next meal.

This food it incredible. That fact that someone has suggested this food is reheated from frozen is laughable. The meat is all from local butchers and the meals leave you well fed and clean, rather than greasy and guilty. Would highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.

A couple of months on I am amazed that they are still open. The food is revolting and nothing like it should taste or smell like. I think it’s all reheated frozen food.

My wife and I had a selection of Dim Sum and Bao, all really tasty. The spring rolls were excellent to. I recommend the Char Sui Boa. We'll try the more traditional mains next time, I'm sure they will be good.

Char siu bao is my favourite Chinese food and nowhere does them - until now!

I’ve been looking for a good Chinese restaurant around here for three years, finally I’ve found it!

We'd noticed this open a few months back and wanted to try for a while - so glad we finally did! So different to standard local asian food - the food is really fresh, great portions, really tasty and fast delivery. Loved the Bao Bao custard buns for dessert!

We ordered a takeaway from here last night. Between four of us we had a decent selection and it was without doubt the tastiest Chinese we’ve ever had. The food was not greasy at all, and was full of flavour despite having no msg. I’d recommend this Chinese to anyone! Absolutely first class and will be our first choice from now on!
