The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South West

We ordered chicken satay and it was some chicken and veg in watery curry sauce and not chicken in skewers with a peanut sauce, the Singapore noodles were pale, tasteless & had been boiled with carrots and was horrible. The sweet and sour sauce with the prawn balls with so vinegary it was inedible. The only redeeming things were the pancake rolls and the prawn balls themselves.

Nice people and food was ready in 1 minute. That should have been a warning to me. Chips turned out to be fries that were very brown and limp. Crispy beef didn't have any beef in it. Put the whole lot in the bin.

Visited May’s as we were in Penzance, and we are always on the lookout for great Chinese food. May’s did not disappoint. May herself is an absolute sweetheart, and so lovely and welcoming, as is the other lady who was serving us (whose name I didn’t find out!) The food was absolutely delicious. It came out piping hot, and was served very quickly and with minimal fuss. We picked May’s as there seemed to be plenty of choices for vegetarians, and the tofu dishes we had were excellent! We were very impressed with the flavours, and it is possibly now one of our favourite Chinese restaurants! Many thanks, May. Hopefully we will see you again soon!

One of our favourite places to dine out. The food is freshly cooked, tasty, and varied. Part of the week they have an eat all you want menu (as long as you eat what's on your plate). My plate has always been cleared as the food is too good to leave. The staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Recommend to anyone.

After using this takeaway for the last 25 years we have been here, tonight was the worst service and experience we have ever had, to the point that we won't be using them again. I called for an update on the order and was met by a rather rude and abrupt response. Will be using Just Eat & Deliveroo from now on. I suggest David assesses his staff

Dalton S Little Asia produce uses some of the best sweet-and-sour pork we have had since we left Hong Kong. Madame outfront is absolutely charming on her son in the kitchen. Does a great job. I would recommend the mixed starter platter, the hot and sour soup, the sweet-and-sour pork, The crispy chilli beef, the Singapore noodle and the massive man Curry. We have been a number of times and I’ve always been really impressed with the friendless of the welcome, the great service and the outstanding Food.

Nice traditional music, great service from staff and the food is good in great portion sizes! Especially for the price. Cannot complain aside from being what my Chinese friends describe as being English Chinese.

First time trying this place, and I have to say it's one of the best Chinese meals I've had in a very long time. The duck chow mein was cooked to perfection! And the singapore was full of flavour! The staff were helpful and a cheerful man behind the counter. Will definitely come back.

Sadly not a good meal. The soup was so thick and strong had to be watered down to eat. All the sauces so thick and stale. Meat obviously just added and not really cooked in sauce. So disappointed. However the staff were nice friendly and helpful

Don’t know what’s happened to Chim’s but has lost all flavour and everything was dry. Genuinely can’t believe how bad it’s become

We had a delicious Chinese takeaway from Wing Cheung House this evening, the best chinese that we've had in a long time. It was convenient to pay by card, unlike some other establishments. However, the prices are a little higher than average, and a minimum order of £40 is required for complimentary prawn crackers, which are often offered free at other places for smaller orders but I had to argue for due to my order being £37. Therefore, we've deducted one star for that & cost.

Reasonable food at a fair price. Problem is they don't understand gluten free.

Delicious, healthy, and affordable food. Polite and friendly staff. Highly recommended – definitely give it a try!

This has to be the worst chinese food I have ever experienced, greasy disgusting pancake roll, Chicken fried rice, was rice with some bland chicken thrown on the top went straight in the bin along with the most horrible congealed curry sauce..very poor will definitely not be going there again.
