The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Canterbury South East

Still the best and far too much food. Lots left for next day.. very fast delivery as well, piping hot food. The only one I will now use, the rest are rubbish.

A superb hidden away Chinese take away. Certainly the best Chinese take out in town and Keith is a top bloke.

Ordered a takeaway this evening, the food was appalling and disappointing. Noodles are bland and no taste, broth no taste, the duck was good quality and the 3 bits if veg floating around were good. The spicy chicken wings were not spicy. After eating the duck and veg the rest was for the bin !

We have been using this takeaway for a year or so and the food is always hot, delicious and tasty. Would highly recommend!

This was a takeaway. We telephoned our order and was told delivery in half an hour. 1 hour and 10 minutes later they were not answering the phone, ( probably recognised our phone number ). We have had several different problems with this Chinese before, but were willing to give it one more go. We made sure the problems we had before we’re not going to be repeated by speaking to the lady on the phone. After an hour and 20 minutes, it turned up. My husband asked her if she’d been driving about as she was so late, and she said no, she had come straight from the shop. He paid her and when he bought it in, and we opened it in the kitchen most of it was warm. We had to heat everything up again in the microwave thus making it pointless having a takeaway. They will not be getting our custom again.

My family and i experienced excellent service from lovely Taskiya today in Canterbury. she was professional and patient with us. The food is always delicious and ambiance is great.

Food is wonderful. The people are so helpful and friendly. Setting is gorgeous. You do need to pre book a table.

I've travelled all over the world, and the Yantze restaurant has provided some of the best food and dining service I've ever had. The staff at the yantze have always been kind and caring, delivering the best service, and even surprised me with a memorable conversation from a few years ago, about the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe book series. As you embark on your well-deserved retirement, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful dining experiences you've provided for myself, my family, and my friends. We compared prices and availability times for various deliveries online and John Lee, although they don’t deliver that I’m aware of, came out best in terms of price and quick service with collection in 20 minutes on a Friday evening. The food was clearly freshly cooked, had lovely flavour individual to each dish and the man who took our food order was polite, double checked each item and was helpful. A highlight was the chicken satay skewers. 100% will only order Chinese from John Lee in future.

I went and ordered in the takeaway and it came a little too quickly. I got home and the chicken balls were pink inside, the rice and noodles tasted of old oil/unkempt pans and it was inedible. I phoned and was told to take pictures of the chicken and send via WhatsApp and if I did this I might get a free dish next time. A categorical no from me as I will NEVER order from this place again. I have a Labrador and I would not feed it to him and it is all in the bin. £20 wasted. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE, Environmental health needs to go in.

Hardly any chicken in the chicken chow mein, spare ribs were cold, portions very poor. Phoned to complain and the kitchen ( not the lady taking the orders) said that all they would do is give me a half price chow mein next time. We won't go back.
