Sea Food Chow Mein 10/10 Fried Sqiud with salt and chili to salty I couldn't eat them

Food turned up 45 minutes late, food was well below average

First time ordering from here after a recommendation from a friend. The food was very good, definitely the best Chinese we have had in this area for a long time. The downside was we waited almost 2 hours for it to get here, and the delivery driver was rather rude, I’m sure this wasn’t intentional as they were clearly very busy.

In the past we have been very impressed with the quality of food and portions. Sad to say their was more bone than meat on the ribs and the prawn toast was very thin and greasy.

Amazing food, lovely taste and quality on everything. Arrived hot and fresh! Called to ask if driver had left as just eat said it had been delivered, they assured me the driver was on the way and within a few minutes food had arrived. Would eat again

disappointing - order marked as delivered at 5.40 p.m.but it arrived at 6.10 p.m. luke warm so not safe to eat. must have been sitting around. spoke to restaurant who said they were busy - why accept our order if they were too busy

Ordered accidenatlly from this Restaurant, I meant to order from anther. The delivery time was amazing about 6-7 minutes from order to actual delivery. The Restaurant isbout one mile away. I ordered two mains, one was Sweet & Sour king prawn which was delicious. The other was a Special Curry whilst the ingredients looked and tasted great. There was absolutely no hint of any curry flavour. Hence only 3 stars. I wouldn't (deliberately) order again.

Not impressed by the quality of the meal, under cooked chips greasy curry and burnt pancake rolls. Very disappointed so doubt I shall order from here again.

not very pleasant,as was stodgy and just not appetizing,rice was dry and in fact i left almost all of it...was looking forward to the meal as decorating etc going on in the living room,nowhere to sit etc so thought this be a nice and easy meal.sorry

Ordered takeaway and was very disappointed. Neither the salt and chilli ribs or salt and chilli squid had any chilli. The ribs were very small and mostly sinew. The duck (duck and pancakes) was as dry as old shoe leather. On the upside the pancake rolls were delicious. Overall we were very dissatisfied as this was a celebration meal. In future we’ll try other Chinese restaurants.

Food was very good. We recently moved to Herne and have struggled to find a good Chinese until now!!! Only gripe was the satay sauce… not great apart from that food was very tasty

I have been using Hong Kong takeaway for over 30 years. Deliveries are usually on time or early, food always hot and fresh......I won't go anywhere else locally.

Ribs were dry, duck was fatty and curry lacked flavour.

Deep Fried Shredded Chilli Beef nearly inedible and chewy. Satay chicken doesn't taste of peanut at all. Chicken balls and rice were nice. As it is I wouldn't order here again.

Ordered over 2 hours ago. Sadly money taken but no food delivered 😳

Waited until the end of the delivery window, chased the order through just eat, extended another 25 minutes. Waited another 10 minutes after that and still nothing so rang to cancel as it's getting too late to eat only to be told it's miraculously on its way so I had to reject the food at the door. I've asked for a refund and we won't be coming back.

The order was very late over 1 hour and half very disappointing was hungry when ordered and not by the time it arrived. All I got from the shop was sorry it’s on its way when it wasn’t!!!

rubbish food spent over £62 for food and chicken curry was bits of chicken loads of onions floating about in look like dish water avoid

Normally a fantastic take away and service however our order was over an hour late and arrived cold and unpleasant. Messaged to request some money back but received a text saying they refused and hoped we enjoyed our meal!! Well no we didn’t!! By the time it arrived it was barely edible! Poor and unexceptional service for what was our favourite Chinese

Ordered food on Chinese new year so it was bound to be busy + weather was awful but New Hong Kong didn’t disappoint! As usual the food was really tasty, freshly cooked and very warm. Will definitely be ordering again.

Curry’s and sour was really watery

The food is so disappointing. We’ve been ordering for a while and I must say this is the worst order we’ve had. Chicken satay sauce was pale runny and the chicken was rubbery, chicken wings were watery and not crunchy. Usual flavours were lucking. All of the food is going straight in the bin. And I am sorry to say we will most likely go elsewhere from now on. Massive waste of over £50 of food.

Over an hour late, was told they would put a free dish in and never did! Arrived not stone cold but certainly not warm! Quality was not great! Have used this take away for several years and this may be the last time!

The chicken balls weren’t cooked so we weren’t able to eat them. The food was over an hour late which is unacceptable especially because we preordered in the morning for it to come at a specific time. Very very disappointed

Food was plentiful. It was almost cold on arrival. The crispy shredded beef was tasty - very nice. Hot starter for two was a bit of a mixture quality wise. Spare ribs were really dry and spring rolls very greasy and squashed. All in all OK. Not the best but not the worst experience either!
