The best restaurants serving Chinese food in St. Helens North West

Always order food from Temptation House because it is consistently excellent, but tonight I ordered Chicken Green Pepper & Black Bean Sauce and Special Spicy in Yelliow Bean Sauce, both with fried rice & portion of Salt & Pepper Chips and WOW, both meals where fantastic, not too sure if it was the same chef that normally works on a Friday night, but it was perfect, we would have been really happy having in a top Chinese Restaurant. Thankyou to all & also the speed that it was delivered was the same as usual, very quick.

I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed indeed I've just moved here .and thought I fancy fish n chips my carer decided she would like sweet n sour chicken egg fried rice and chips .well my fish n chips .the fish was dry the batter was like a tough yorkshire pudding batter it was chewy and tasteless .the chips we both had were stone cold and squashed together .the grease on the paper was seeping .someone needs to take this seriously .now for the Chinese that was good but not top notch .its a pity really I should of gone for the Chinese which I love but didn't feel that hungry with the weather being so hot. So please change either the way you cook the fish n chips .or stick to doing Chinese. There is a fish n chip shop just 70 yards along .mabey next time il go there and compare .I'm sure it'll be to a good standard

Always fresh and tasty, quick service and always piping hot!!! Wouldn't use any other take away!! Can phone your order through. Very good

The food is extremely good and delicious especially the sweet and sour chicken and the salt and pepper box.My rating is 5 stars!!!

Enjoy coming here. The little robots are a good novelty and a bit of fun. Foods not bad either, standard chinese buffet selections. Can get quite busy on a Saturday evening so it's best to book ahead.

This was for years the best Chinese takeaway in the whole St. Helens area in my opinion. In recent years, it has really changed for the worse, the food is so salty and probably full of msg. The only way to describe it are that standards have slipped from being really good to below par, which is a shame for all.

Salt and pepper chips are delicious

Food is not great Thai curry was like water tasted disgusting, salt and pepper chicken over loaded with onions no chicken i would not go back.

90 minutes after I was told my food was on it's way and two and a half hours after ordering, it eventually turned up. Sent it back as it would have been inedible sitting in a bag for an hour and a half. The woman from the chip shop rang me shouting and screaming abuse at me down the phone for not accepting it as it was. I felt sorry for the delivery driver who probably has to pick up the pieces on each delivery. Very rude in chipshop, kept calling me 'lady' and could not accept the fact that I had contacted the app about poor service. Would never ever go here again based on her attitude and the manner in which she screamed at me down the phone.

Usually the salt 'n' pepper chicken are really nice pieces of succulent chicken cooked in breadcrumb and very tasty. What we were served tonight was shocking to say the least,skinny pieces of breadcrumb because there wasn't much chicken in there and we even got some pieces with no chicken at all,really disappointed, in fact if that is their salt n pepper chicken from now on then we need to find another Chinese ASAP because we won't be going back.

My daughter ordered salt and pepper chicken absolutely disgusting.chicken was definitely not chicken pulled it apart 🤮🤮🤮🤮 God knows what it was, definitely avoid,I never put a review on anything sorry this time I had to 🤮🤮
