The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Lambeth London

Unfortunately they didn’t let me and my partner in as we didn’t have a booking, or so they said. However the family of white people 2 adults and a child behind us, who also had no booking were welcomed in. I unfortunately needed a bit of time process what had happened to us before I could write this review- disgusting behaviour!

We visited this restaurant after a business meeting for quick snack. We were very surprised with the beautiful ambience very good food and cocktails. Me and my colleagues stayed back for long time and had a very good time. Definitely I will go there again togather with my family and friends.

I must say after years of seeing this takeaway I never ordered from here before being from sw4 area there are no good Chinese takeaways decided to try Happy Garden and it was the best decision I made the food was delivered Piping Hot, Fresh and Absolutely Delicious!!! I didn't even get any photos as the food was so lovely the woman taking order was lovely and funny this will definitely be my new regular Chinese takeaway as there are hardly any good Chinese takeaway shops left anymore. Definitely 5 out 5 stars Excellent Delicious Food!!

Customers over 20 years. First time ringing up to complain the food is cold. The chicken noodle soup was disgusting! But the owner has the audacity to argue with her long time loyal customers, instead of having a good will gesture of customer service! Very poor behaviour!

Daging bebeknya enak, lembut. Staf selalu ramah, makanan selalu segar dan lezat rasanya, lokasi berada ditengah kota.

Great night out for my sons birthday dinner and a few drinks, very friendly staff, would definitely recommend.

The food was good and seemed fresh but it was a little bland - that might simply have been our order though. It wasn't too greasy or salty and the price was great, so we'll definitely order again.

Singapore Noodles tasted plain and the duck tasted nice but was mostly fat would be nice if there was some meat on it, was not keen on the beef in black bean , Ribs were ok but the bbq sauce was not it.

Rich, creamy, flavourful, heaped with toppings and very affordable. This is one my 'go-to' dish at Different Taste. I'd dare say that it's one of the best laksa in London. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Make sure you bring cash along with you!! That's how you know the place is authentic ;)

Popped in for a meal. Small cleans and really friendly staff. We had the ribs and chicken satay for starters - very nice. Mains were special fried rice, crispy chilly beef and a chef special, braised beef brisket. All very nice indeed, highlights were the crispy beef and the satay. All served very quickly. Nice relaxed atmosphere. When back in London will definitely be back again.

Amazing venue - we had table of 18 for my birthday and it was the perfect evening. Staff, food & performer were all wonderful and it’s such a great vibe. Thank you for making it so special!!
