The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Islington London

I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before buying. The food was horrid, the Noodles was dry, had no flavour and little amouhts of chicken and I only found one prawn. The firecracker was chewy and I could not finish any of my food and I could not get a refund. Stay clear of this horrible place...

I have been coming here for years. I always come back for their egg fried rice. Recently have also been enjoying their gyozas and dumplings.

15+ years I’ve been using them. They never let me down. Food is ace and the delivery is ALWAYS early.

Amazing Dim Sum. Especially the coriander one. Fresh, homemade and beautiful dim sum. Fantastic service too.

Food was bland cold and packaging was open and took nearly to arrive, i do not recommend kings was really disappointed.

I cannot believe that they are still trading. I have been eating Chinese food for 46 years & this is right at the bottom of the list. I will get straight to the point, the food was not fresh. I threw £33 in the dustbin.

Food was great and the counter person Kevin was the best he did exactly what i requested and packed the food with best care i can tell with the tie bags for any liquid food encase of spilling. The only chinese takeaway shop counter that can speak good english and understand exactly what i said and want thats how all takeaway shops should be. Make sure he never leaves

I made the mistake of ignoring the bad reviews, thinking “how bad can they be?” Cue two hours of them saying that either the food had been delivered or that it was on its way, when neither was true. It never came and they were horrible on the phone when I tried to complain. For your own sake, avoid at all costs

Garden House Chinese takeaway in Finsbury Park is located a 3 minute walk from the station. No indoor area to eat (they use to have seating). Looked like half Chinese and Bric-a-back establishment. The same person that served me went out back and cooked up the driest dish imaginable - Vegetarian Singapore Vermicelli😬. I couldn’t finish the dish as at that time I had no liquid and couldn’t stomach anymore. The establishment felt very dated and not help with a large area full of Bric-a-back. Not sure if the items were free to take or selling them. The member of staff was helpful.

Solíamos ordenar regularmente desde aquí. ¡Pero no sé qué pasó esta noche! Cada artículo era atroz. Pollo al curry; aguada sobre salsa picante sin verduras (sin cebollas ni guisantes). Bolas de pollo; un cuarto del tamaño y la mitad de la porción habitual y el pollo estaba seco. Salsa para las bolas de pollo; aguada y con sabor a vinagre de arroz, no a la salsa dulce pegajosa habitual. Arroz; insípido. Esta es la primera reseña que escribo, pero me sentí obligado a hacerlo porque era muy mala. Y toda esa basura por 25. ¡Nunca volveré a ordenar desde allí!

I have been coming here for the last 3 years. I can honestly say that the food is always constantly excellent. The Won Ton Soup is delicious. Their curry's are always superb, not only the meat one's but also the Mushroom curry. Never had a disappointing dish. Highly recommend it. The staff are always friendly, no matter how busy they are. Lucky to have such a great local takeaway.
