Lucky Garden in Islington

Lovely food, (too) big portions, very hot and earlier than expected. Couldn’t fault it. Chicken was good quality, especially in the salt and pepper chicken.

I have been coming here for the last 3 years. I can honestly say that the food is always constantly excellent. The Won Ton Soup is delicious. Their curry's are always superb, not only the meat one's but also the Mushroom curry. Never had a disappointing dish. Highly recommend it. The staff are always friendly, no matter how busy they are. Lucky to have such a great local takeaway.

We had a very tasty, delicious takeaway from here, plenty of meat and fresh vegetables. Not expensive and plenty for the two of us.

Brought the wrong meal the when they came with the new 1 asked for the old 1 back cheeky bastards that should e compensation for when am sitting here starving when every 1 else has eating

Waited 45 minutes for fish and chips. Asked for lightly battered after 35 minutes came our asking if a regular battered fish was ok!!! Worst tasting (not) lightly battered fish I've ever eaten.. felt very sorry for the two very young girls serving front of house dealing with long waits and backed up orders whilst the chefs shouted constantly n the back. Long wait gave me time to observe the thick muck grease and cobwebs around the waiting area.. filthy. Safe to say We won't be returning ..

Used to love this place but recently awful for delivery and food quality. Tonight we ordered 6.30 and food came after 9. One sauce smashed across the bag and one main meal incorrect, but we were so hungry we ate most of it amyway. Driver just left the bag on the step and left, good job we have a Ring bell so saw them.Just go elsewhere...

Used this takeaway over last 2 years occasionally. Good food. Last night ordered 2 meals. Containers two thirds full. ???. Phoned and was told oh we may have run out of sauce. No apologies to rectify the problem. Wil not be using anymore. Prices up. Portions smaller.
