The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Islington London

Saw it walking past, and again walking home it was meant to be, awesome. For China put in Szechuan as the lady told me. Absolutely beautiful double cooked pork belly with egg fried rice, without doubt the best Szechuan or whatever Chinese variant I have ever had. Stunning, PS I have been and ate local in Beijing and Xian.

Ojalá hubiera leído las reseñas antes de ordenar 😟 y me enojaré mucho si mañana estoy mal. ¿Dónde está el huevo en el arroz frito con huevo 🫣 y por qué se ve así, gris? En general, soso. El gusto y la calidad era mala. No fue como esperaba. Sé que las comidas para llevar variarán entre sí, pero me decepcionó mucho ☹️. No voy a pedir desde aquí de nuevo o recomendar.

It's a lovely and welcoming cafe. The owners seem to have focused on the tea - they have an excellent range and it's all really nice (although it's my first time trying bubble tea). I was served by someone called Angel? Angelica? I think; so sorry for not getting your name right but she's extremely welcoming and kind! Served my tea super quick and elegantly, definitely coming here again. I will definitely start visiting with friends here regularly, it's so much nicer than some of the mainstream bubble tea stores in central London.

We’ve ordered from here before and always found the food to be lovely. However on this occasion our usual dishes were hotter than usual and the chicken tasted old. Quite disappointed.

First ever trip to a vegan restaurant it was very nice not the best I've ever had but given it was vegan I didn't feel the need to lie down afterwards so that's definitely a plus. It would help if the menu was more informative - the menu still said 'beef' and 'shrimp' and things like that without explaining what it was which was a bit odd.

Puede haber sido debido a mi propia falta de familiaridad con este plato específico, pero los sabores no se unieron tan armoniosamente como había anticipado. Por el lado bueno, el maridaje de cervezas fue excelente y definitivamente elevó la experiencia. El personal era amable y experto en recomendarlo, lo que realmente aprecio. En términos de precios, el pollo con chile era de £ 14. 90, que me pareció un poco caro para el tamaño de la porción. Además, el restaurante aplica un 12. Cargo por servicio del 5% — algo con lo que normalmente estoy bien, pero en este caso, no se sentía del todo justificado basado en el plato que pedí. Dicho esto, no desalentaría a nadie a probar este lugar. El menú es extenso, y estoy seguro de que hay muchas joyas por descubrir. Best Chinese place I've ever been to although I've only ever collected and not ordered online, amazing food, big portions and really nice people! Just feels like one of those classic Chinese shops that serves banging Chinese food but hasn't updated the outside sign in years. It's brilliant and I would recommend to anyone who wants a classic well priced Chinese

I was live-in bar/cellar man in this pub in the early 90s.Kings Cross was a dangerous area then but The Swan was a decent pub with meals for the surrounding office workers. Just on Regents Canal. Coming from Ireland I thought it was great that workers were allowed to go for a couple of pints at lunchtime. I was in my early 20s and a good time to be in London. There was a Spanish bar-restaurant in Pentonville Rd and Filthy ManNasty’s up in Amwell St and Minogue’s Liverpool St. Walking up Chapel St Market to Upper St Angel. The 90s the good old days 😀

Ordered Hot and Sour soup, Special Fried Rice & Chicken Curry. Soup was very watery and was in a small container, tasted okay but was nothing more than water and a few vegetables. Curry was again very watery and contained a few bits of strange looking chicken and soft black mushrooms, just about edible. Rice was a big portion and was fine, had strange looking bits of beef but tasted fine and was large enough for two. All in all a bang average meal, just about edible but nothing special. 4/10

A nice little place to grab a bite to eat. Prices are fair and enjoyed the food. I found it clean and hygienic and will come back again when I'm around the area.

I placed an order for chicken noodle soup at the counter; however, upon consumption, I found the noodles to be excessively salty, oily, and lacking in flavor. While I generally support local businesses, this experience has unfortunately eroded my confidence in this establishment. I would not recommend dining here. 👎👎👎👎

I have been coming here for years. I always come back for their egg fried rice. Recently have also been enjoying their gyozas and dumplings.
