Ordered a takeaway - got it home to find the order was wrong and one of the dishes was half the size of the other one (the same price though) when ringing them back they couldn’t be bothered to rectify it.

Passed on route to Hunstanton and decided to pick up a takeaway on the way home. Helpful, friendly staff and good choice of set menus. £29 per head and two meals definitely enough for three.

There aren't many order off the menu Chinese buffet restaurants but this one does that in spades. Large selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Starters and entrée courses can be ordered multiple times and then served fresh to the table. Then move on to the mains and choose from dozens of dishes which are all freshly prepared and brought to the table rather than queuing up at a buffet. Large selection of drinks including great cocktails and mocktails. Spacious inside. Wonderful attentive staff, who came promptly when ordering. Highly recommend as this is a fun concept restaurant and great fit groups, families, couples alike.

This has closed, and re opened at Rings End, March Road, called Mama Tree ( previously called Oriental Garden). Signs are up stating that a Carvery is about to open.

Really good chicken curry one portion was plenty for 2 people for the smaller eaters highly recommend wot we had service quick

Just picked up a house special curry and chips, chicken chow mein, bloody lovely.

Food is mediocre, service is terrible, dirty and unpleasant experience

Ordering simple and reasonably priced, food was ready when collected. However, food is pretty bland in flavour. Curry was disappointing and bbq ribs were just weird, no flavour at all!! Chow mein was OK but we've had better. Disappointing. 3* given but being generous.

Called in for dinner for 3 of us. The salt n pepper chips were in a tin tray and just had the seasoning dumped in. The rest was ridulous! Chow mean was a full tub. But only a third of the other tubs were filled and a small tub of s&s sauce that wasn't quite half full. Nobody had enough food. Half portion of rice and not even a third of a tub of shredded beef! Totally conned out of money. Never ever ever....even the awful chinese takeout give whole portions. Would even have accepted half portions....but not even half portions. Basically empty tubs! We had to elsewhere after eating to get actual good. Tasted fine......just hardly anything there! Waste of time and definitely a waste of money!!!!!

If you are of an age when you had Chinese takeaway in the 80s (I did with my parents) then this place will take you back. The poor comments are understandable if a bit harsh based on our experience. The portions are on the small side. The meat content is mean. The sauces are runny. The taste isn't bad though. It's ok, but just ok and no more. Why don't the owners read the feedback and adapt? It's all there for them.
