Visited for the first time this evening with my granddaughter and great granddaughter, we found the experience so delightful, the service was excellent, the food delicious, would recommend to anyone, thankyou.

Booked a table for 3 at 6.30 on a Friday. The place was very busy. Despite this the service, speed and quality of food prompted me to write this review. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Hands down one of the best Chinese meals I’ve ever eaten, succulent and beautiful. Highly recommend, service is amazing, prawn crackers arrived on the table not longer than 5 seconds after we had bums on seats. Tsing Tao is a great change from your regular British beers. MUST VISIT!

Honestly one of the best meals I have ever had! Hands down the best Chinese meal I've ever had. The meal was perfection. The vegetables used in my meal were obviously so fresh. Honestly spectaclular!

Simply the best Chinese we've ever had. No delivery service but the food more than made up for this. So good we had it 2 nights in a row! We were on holiday when we tried this Chinese and we just wish we had somewhere like this at home.

Beautiful Chinese food. Wonderful chicken curry and promptly delivered at the appropriate pick up time. If I lived locally I would frequent this Chinese regularly.

We were happy with everything but the disgusting chicken curry. That highlighted the meal for us... so disappointed. If they would have taken the £9 curry off of the £151 bill and apologised they would be 5 star.

Always an excellent meal here and a happy face to greet you.

Great food. Attentive friendly staff. The fish are now gone and the space along wall has been replaced by tatty merchandise along the length of the wall - ruins the vibe. Price was £75 for 2 starter, 2 mains, 2 deserts, 2 drinks.

From Hero to Zero. Used to be the best Chinese in the area but recently have really gone downhill. In the last few months I have had items missing from my takeaway order twice, and a wrong item amongst the order once. This evening I ordered a takeaway at 5 pm with very specific instructions that I wouldn’t collect it till 6.15pm. At 5.40pm the restaurant called me back asking why I hadn’t collected my order. I told them I would collect it at 6.15 as instructed when I ordered it, but most of it was cold when I collected it so presumably it had been hanging around since before they rang me at 5.40. The restaurant has got very busy over the last year and I wonder if they are now unable to cope.

I called the restaurant to make a reservation and specified that I wanted a place with a beer garden or outdoor tables. I asked twice to confirm this, and they assured me they did. However, after driving to the restaurant, I found out they didn't have any outdoor tables. When I asked for clarification, the waiter laughed and said I could still eat inside. This is not the way to treat customers.

We went Friday evening completely looked after, every course was stunning ! Beautifully presented and tasted amazing! Fabulous Evening! Thank you Louise and her staff.

5 star all round for this amazing restaurant. From start to finish this was an amazing customer experience. The spinning centre tray was a huge hit with the whole family. The food was exquisite, especially the duck and the chicken balls. We also had chow mein and chips. The egg fried rice was different to what we are used to, being a finer dish, yet this did not distract it from the taste The staff were attentive and awesome. Whilst it was quiet inside when we went, there was still a few people in and more outside . There is a car park which can be missed, but it is accessible if you look out for the BP petrol garage 😉 Price wise, was fair. There were four of us, so the bill came to a bit but there is also a kind of gift shop near the entrance. So many good words to say... We recommend it 100%

Didnt go to the Restaurant. had a takeaway, NEVER again! couldn't eat it, soooo overpriced I had Chicken Skewers 4 little sticks like the supermarkets 2 little round blobs on it £7.50!!! should of been 5 aswel small egg fried rice chicken balls and a chicken chow mein £34.50 really!! will not be returning

Amazing food, we had a takeaway, definitely the best we’ve had. Shame we were only visiting the area, would love this restaurant to be closer to home. Would definitely recommend

Easily the worst Chinese takeaway meal I’ve ever had. I arrived promptly for the agreed 6.45 pick up and returned home with a cold, congealed mess of poorly cooked food. The crispy duck came wth cucumber but barely none of shredded spring onion as is the norm. The salt and pepper squid was inedible and bore more of a real resemblance to polystyrene than any form of seafood. The Barbecued spare ribs were tough, the sauce did not taste like a barbecue sauce and there were some curious white flecks (possibly fat) mixed in with the sauce which were generally very off-putting. The satay chicken was unbelievably tough and bone dry and gave the appearance of having been fried from previously cooked although I can’t be absolutely sure about this. What is sure is that the gloopy source was unable to penetrate the chicken and provide any form of hydration. The only possible dish or at least one that bore some resemblance to anything that I’ve eaten at a Chinese restaurant before was the shredded beef which at least had some flavour and a texture to it. We paid £50 for this travesty of a meal and regret every penny of it!

On holiday but this is 3rd visit in 15 months. Food ,service and friendly staff have been of a very high quality.

1st visit with Wife whilst staying in Heacham. Nice spacious Restaurant and friendly staff! Staff if anything, are a little over Zealous! They were constantly circulating and taking dishes away even when still eating.Calm down ladies. We went for Banquet option which was £29 each.The hors d,oeuvres were like Iceland pre frozen. I always have Hot & Sour soup but this was not the normal black soup.it was in a very sweet not sour pink soup with is a sauce they seem to obviously put on everything sweet.Other dishes namely Beef, Pork and Prawns were nice as was Special fried rice. No draught beer bottles only.Tsing Tao. They add 10% service charge. £85 seemed high for 3 bottles of beer and a pint of cokeI have had a lot better chinese food and staffneed to calm down a bit. In Summary OK but could do better.

We went for my birthday meal out, and what a welcome. The food is incredible and the service was above and beyond. Even better that it is Dog friendly as my fur Baby Enzo (poodle) was welcomed to come too. Would definitely recommend and will go back!

Visited during a long weekend trip to the area and really enjoyed the whole experience. Host was welcoming and entertaining, food was delicious and (unlike many other restaurants) served in an unhurried way allowing us time to chat and enjoy the meal. Would come again if we were in the area.

We went today 03/03/2024 Sunday at 2.10pm Deep crispy fried wantons; Steamed scallops with shell; crispy seaweed; scallops with asparagus, I think it was soft shell crab and free prawn crackers. Freshly cooked while we waited. Yes, really really excellent! Certainly happy to recommend!!

Had the most amazing meal today. Every part was delicious. All the staff were lovely. My only regret was I didn’t look at any reviews, as we came last year and it was so good. But this time we traveled with a dog. So I left him in the car. After we had finished I said the dog was outside. The guy said we are dog friendly, it made me feel guilty for leaving him outside, when he could have been with us. Next time we will all be inside.

We are new to the area & Silk Road restaurant had been highly recommended on our local FB page, we ordered a takeaway which we collected, it was ready exactly at the time arranged, the food was amazing. We will be using this restaurant again. Thanks

Our 1st visit & upon arrival we were surprised at the amount of people waiting on takeout orders which showed how good the food is. Very enjoyable meal with excellent service & high quality food. Looking forward to returning as we have no Chinese restaurants locally…….

Great food Great staff just a great place to enjoy a lovely meal

Talk about Rip off Britain, £70.30 for 2 meals, small portions and nowhere near what you get if you go to a takeaway in the plastic cartons or metal trays. This food came on a small oval plate. Got small sweet and sour chicken, small beef chow mein, small chicken curry, small portion of chips and rice. The starters x2 1 each small chicken satay skewer each, 1 spring roll each, 2 prawn toast each and 2 small (and I mean small) spare ribs each. I was totally gobsmacked to be honest. Put down £75 and they took it and never brought back change. The place was run down, tables and chairs in need of throwing in the skip, cold and draughty. Very noisy.and absolutely no atmosphere. Bright spot lights blinding you while trying to eat. Tables very close together with no privacy and people listening to your conversation. It will be safe to say that I’ll never ever go back. Would rather have gone to china rose in Wisbech, got a takeaway and double the food for £27 much bigger portions and better quality. As they say once bitten twice shy but if you’re happy to pay over the odds be my guest.

Great food great service but a little expensive

Drove past a few times when on holiday at Pinecones and finally decided to stop on our last night as couldn't be bothered to cook and glad we did, Staff super Food even better, our first visit but not our last can't wait to visit again, food hot and tasty and portions perfect for hungry diners ..

I came here for the first time tonight with my mum,dad and grandma, I'm a vegetarian and a fussy eater at the best of times but I was made to feel very welcome by their lovely staff and had a delicious meal, i will definitely be back

We rang after a day in Hunstanton and they fitted us in after booking 10 minutes beforehand. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and courteous, the gentleman ready with a joke, very enjoyable. The little wait time for food was as expected, all cooked fresh and delicious. Recommended this restaurant highly.

One of the only places to eat if you are staying in Hunstanton. Good food, good service. Same as last year . ( sorry we don’t live closer)

We went here to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday while on holiday. The staff were great and very attentive, couldn't have asked for better service from all three. We ordered one of the set meals (their is several to choose from) The food was excellent and good value. We will defiantly return next time we are in Norfolk.

Had my dads 80th birthday here, great service and food, although a little expensive! Would recommend it, staff are excellent and attentive.

We came here in the summer for a family dinner and were pretty impressed. The food is some of the best Chinese in East Anglia, to be honest. In fact, apart from an excellent Chinese in Spain (Santiago de Compstela), it's probably the best we have ever been to. The service was pretty damn good, too. The head waiter is quite a character and has us in tears at times. Lovely place!

Ordered a takeaway and the food was excellent. It was pricey but portions were big enough. Will be looking to try the dine in option next time

Lovely food will definitely be going again

Whilst this review isnt based on a visit for a meal I just wanted to say a big thankyou to the staff for the use of their facilities after my wife and I and our kids had been stuck in traffic for an hour due to an accident. They were friendly, welcoming and fully respectful and understanding of our situation. Thankyou so much and I must compliment them on what looks at first glance a lovely looking restaurant

What an absolutely wonderful Chinese Restaurant. I just wish it was closer to where I live so that I could go there more often.

Food was good but the staff were terrible kept asking twice for quite a few things it felt like most of the had just started

We found this on the internet and decided to give it a try. We dropped in at 5:30pm with a table of 12 but they managed to squeeze us in. The service was really welcoming and friendly, and the speed of service amazing - our meal arrived within five minutes of ordering. The food was good, but not the best Chinese we’ve had, but good. We’d go again and would recommend.

Had beef chow mein, egg fried rice and salt & pepper chips. All of it was great, the salt and pepper chips were particularly good.

Best Chinese food i have have ever eaten

The food was actually quite tasty but I’m afraid the portions were really quite ‘stingy’, in particular the meat. I would be surprised if there was half a chicken breast in the sweet and sour chicken and the crispy chilli beef was surprisingly sparse in actual beef. This is a shame as we would have gone again based on the actual taste of the food.
