The best restaurants serving Chinese food in King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

I always use Dragon Capital. Staff are helpful in helping with anything not on the menu. Great portion sizes Reasonably priced

Ordered a takeaway - got it home to find the order was wrong and one of the dishes was half the size of the other one (the same price though) when ringing them back they couldn’t be bothered to rectify it.

Disappointing, travelled a long way to get here and phoned to say running 10 mins late, informed it was OK. When ordering food, a staff member stood over us and informed us we had an hour and had to leave as next sitting is then. This was not indicated on my booked reservation nor communicated when phoned. Could not enjoy the meal. Very poor.

We've been driving past this restaurant for years and finally got the chance to visit. We were alone in the restaurant, so service was very personal. The menu is large with all the normal choices you'd expect. We had a selection of chicken, beef and veggie dishes, which all arrived quickly. Nothing wrong with any of them, but they all lacked any real flavour ... no heat in the chilli beef, no depth in the black-bean sauce... Furthermore, the food got cold very quickly, which I put down to it being served onto cold plates. Prices are what you'd expect to pay, but they added an automatic service charge which I dislike, as I prefer to be the one who determines if quality service has been given.

Came on a Friday after work and the workers were very polite and the food was lovely will be coming back again

This has closed, and re opened at Rings End, March Road, called Mama Tree ( previously called Oriental Garden). Signs are up stating that a Carvery is about to open.

Really good chicken curry one portion was plenty for 2 people for the smaller eaters highly recommend wot we had service quick

Food was lovely but service was amateur. Arrived at my collection time and then sat waiting a further 50 minutes along with about 10 other customers who's orders were also all extremely late. It wouldn't have been a problem had I have actually been provided with a realistically achievable collection time for my food. Lots of shouting and noise coming from the kitchen hidden away at the back which was clearly struggling. Communication needs to improve, the apparent situation could have been so simply managed

Food is always great quality and warm on arrival, very reasonable delivery times.

Just moved to the area & has it was recommended has the best in town so I at to try . I was very disappointed with the lady owner/ worker with glasses ) attitude & miserable face on desk at least smile when your takeing £50 odd pounds off me the food was ok standard Chinese nothing special but less than 2mins after eating stomach cramps & rushed to toilet I’ll never use again does make you wonder wots in it ?

Tasteless and bland, dull shop and staff. My advice is to avoid

Not allergy safe. Before asking we asked about allergens due to a sesame allergy and was told theres no sesame in anything we wanted to order. Midway through dinner I had to stop eating due to an allergic reaction to the food.

I ordered salt and pepper potato’s and received salt and pepper chicken, completely ruined my meal as I already had a chicken option.

If you are of an age when you had Chinese takeaway in the 80s (I did with my parents) then this place will take you back. The poor comments are understandable if a bit harsh based on our experience. The portions are on the small side. The meat content is mean. The sauces are runny. The taste isn't bad though. It's ok, but just ok and no more. Why don't the owners read the feedback and adapt? It's all there for them.
