The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Harborough East Midlands

The food is really tasty. I think the king prawn noodle soup is one of the best Chinese food I've had anywhere.

Delicious food and the ladies that work there are so friendly and kind. Won't go anywhere else now! Highly recommend the salt and chilli squid, the chilli crispy beef and the Singapore fried rice.

This place is top notch, delivered to Welford which is a fair way, food was fresh, tasty and hot and fast delivery. Highly recommended.

Asked for a small chips, small curry and two fish cakes. Was asked for £11.60 and walked straight out. Are they having a laugh? I won’t return. They clearly are no longer a chippy.

Cold food, starters are of poor quality, more like frozen bites one can purchase in a Supermarket. Duck was stringy and cold. Main courses were small and Luke warm. If one eats after 9pm and pay in cash, cost is at a concession rate. All in all a poor experience compared to how it was years ago.

Some of the dishes are very hit and miss. Good: - Prawn Toast - Spring Rolls - Salt and Pepper Chicken (although the portion size was tiny and needs to be more chicken) - Singapore Chow Mein Average: - Prawn crackers (stale) - Egg fried rice - Crispy shredded chilli beef (had much better elsewhere. This was not crispy and was far too sweet. Good ones ive had elsewhere have a savoury sweet sauce, not full sweet chilli. - Chinese chicken curry. Mostly okay. Nice consistency and amount. A bit lacking in flavour however. - Ribs. Flavour is nice usually but the quality/meat on a rib is very very hit and miss. Some have been 90% fat. Bad: - Chicken in a satay peanut sauce. Not sure what this was supposed to be really. Not much chicken, thin sauce, no peanut flavour, for some reason very sweet? Had pineapple. I presumed it would be a thicker peanutty sauce. I hope this review is taken as intended. I want Golden Bowl to serve the best quality, being my local. I hope my feedback is taken on board 😁

Take out dinner, very good and tasty food had a couple of Chinese takeaways locally but this is the best by far. A bit pricey but worth it

By far the nicest Chinese food in town.

Always use Kibworth House, never had a bad meal from here. Always decent food, good portions and as always Chinese Chips are the best.

Honestly, I’m disappointed tonight I have traveled and had this before but different food. It’s very bland , no taste , no salt and overall I am disappointed!

Terrible!! Use to be better but has gone seriously down hill. Completely messed our order up - had to go back as they missed 2 meals. Gave us pork balls instead of prawn balls. The house chow mein was absolutely disgusting- we had 2 and they were both left. Will not be going back

Probably one of the worst takeaways which is a shame as normally it’s quite good. The dish was very bland. I asked for no peas in my main dish and I when I brought it home the dish was heavily loaded with peas. It was meant to be a spicy dish, this was incredibly plain and bland. The customer service from the man behind the counter wasn’t great either. Disappointing to say the least.
