The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

We drove over 30 minutes to this Chinese to collect a takeout order. Drove home to find that the curry we ordered was completely wrong. We ordered mixed meat and we got mixed veg. When we called to explain, the two ladies that worked at the front of the house was very rude over the phone, and said “how are we supposed to know that you don’t like veg!! & They refused to change our meal even though it was their error! Absolutely no people skills what so ever and VERY RUDE!!

Really tasty food in a cool historic building. I loved the roasted pork and duck, which were super flavorful and juicy. The fried rice was great too! Definitely a spot in the city centre I’d come back to!

Very warm welcome. The meal was excellent and the team laughed a lot.

La comida aquí es agradable, el lugar está limpio al menos las partes que el cliente puede ver, pero yo esperaría que las cocinas estén limpias también. Volver a la comida, muy sabrosa, buena porción de tamaño para llevar, pero caro, y no se ofrece entrega.

Fifth time visiting. The food is good enough. However the manic manageress/owner lady ruins the place with her clear lack of investment in competent staff or refusing to trust them and then running around like a headless chicken with no decorum or understanding that people come to relax. Not watch someone running around, shouting across the room and even stopping to take your order halfway through to shout more orders at people, who cant take your order. I truly hope they take this on board and change. I come here to relax, enjoy good food and a nice atmosphere.

The bento boxes here are absolutely worth So many delicious items in one meal, and everything was cooked perfectly. The miso soup was a great starter.

Honestly one of the worst meals I've had we had Banquet B and Banquet C on our table. The sweetcorn soup no one could eat it was so thick and gloopy we had to send it back. We found a hair in one of the spring rolls the crab claw was inedible. The chicken curry was a bowl of onions in bland sauce. Both the chicken cashew and King prawn were in a disgusting gloopy sauce and the chicken was like rubber the sweet and sour chicken was ok we did raise all our issues at the time and 10% was taken off the bill the staff are lovely but after spending £170 for 4 of us unfortunately we will not be returning. Its such a shame as here used to be a family favourite. Maybe there has been a change of chef or they have simply lowered their standards now serving disgusting frozen food. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Best food, amazing service and it’s the same every time we come.

We tried Crispy Shredded Beef, Beef with Honey and Sauce, Special Fried Rice and Salt and Pepper King Prawn as the starter. The food and service was very good. Will be happy to come back and try more varieties!

Went here on Friday evening as it was a treat for my children doing soo well after there school reports. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed the restaurant had no atmosphere the Staff looked sick and tired the food was not FRESH was like it was out of a all you can eat and there was no sound of any cooking or NO smell of cooking everything was reheated and brought to the table soo quickly it couldn’t of been cooked freshly! I ordered the table for 6oclock and was out of there by 7 there was me and my 3 children I will never go back here again!
