Fantastic food, nice staff, very happy.

Absolutely fantastic meal, great service from friendly and very helpful staff. The food was delicious and piping hot, and there was loads of choice. With the choose your own menu no one was left out if there were things they weren’t as keen on. We really enjoyed it and we’ll definitely be back, thank you

Sauce had set in the pot, wasn’t warm nevermind hot for the over 1hour wait you’d expect better. Gyoza we’re rock solid!

Had a fantastic family here again. Booked at the last minute. The food was great as always. Atmosphere great. Staff very friendly. Also the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you.

love the sushi from here, super tasty and always arrives v early. the only thing I'd say is that it is quite warm when it arrives - maybe the delivery driver could use a cooler or something.

Food quality of the sushi was really good but unfortunately value for money of the fried rice and gyozu left us wanting. Yes the preparation of them needs to be reflected but for £19 I would have expected enough for a 9yr old and myself.

Food first class as always but a shame customers weren't coming through the door. Take away option appeared to be doing very well. Don't want to lose another good restaurant.

It’s been a while but we had a lovely return visit to the Regency, the food was great, really hot and freshly cooked. Excellent, friendly service, shame there wasn’t many people in though but we had a great time anyway!

Ordered a take away and it was disgusting. Salt and pepper chips were too salty to eat it’s as if they’d used a full tub of salt. Normal chips tasted like cardboard. Egg Fried Rice was lumpy. Deep Fried Chicken Balls should be renamed Marbles the meat was so tiny inside. Other meals were just gross. Now taking shares out in Gaviscon (other antacids are available)

seemed to take forever to deliver food was standard/average. nothing to complain about but nothing to shout about either.... disappointing when you pay over £40 and could make something better at home yourself. unlikely to order again,

second time ordering from here now and it's absolutely beautiful sushi! will definitely be ordering again.

Oh my I had the salmon fried rice. It was amazing. Really really good. The crispy salmon futomaki was amazing as always too

Drop in quality since last order

Phoned twice with 2 different dates for 11 adults 1 child 1 toddler. Without even checking was told fully booked. Both dates which were over 2 weeks away. Had takeaways from here during covid. Will not buy from here ever again. Seem choosy over who they accept. W e are a quiet family who just wanted a much needed get together. Thanks for spoiling that Regency Selby Won't be back!!!

Delicious as always - absolutely gorgeous food.

Don't bother. Greeted at the door by a miserable staff member who was quite indignant because we didn't have a booking. Fair enough but it was 16:25hrs on a Thursday afternoon., ie, it was dead in there. My advice, go where customers are appreciated.

Delivery driver was excellent 👍

Booked a Saturday evening sit in slot on the day before, telephone manner could have been better for a first time visitor to get, very abrupt, insisted cash only several times, leave no food on plate or will be charged and not served anymore food several times as well. Only time available was 6pm we were told but on arrival we were the only guests, a couple more tables came in but that was all during the time we were there. Waiting staff excellent, extremely polite and helpful, pointing out a couple of dishes we didn't recognise. Clearing empty plates etc to avoid the table becoming cluttered. The was very good, we went for the all you can eat menu at £23.99 each which is about the normal Saturday night price we've paid elsewhere. Large portions, very hot so cooked and brought straight to your table, not hanging around in the kitchen.

First time ordering, yes the wait time is a bit longer than some places but it arrived well within the specified window. Great quality food, love how the rolls are served with a soy sauce packet, wasabi and ginger. 10/10

This was a takaway. Food was good and overall we would use again. However, they did have a fryer issue and the meal was late for collection. Cash only at present.

This was a takeaway experience. I ordered hot and sour soup, 1/4 duck, king prawn curry and plain boiled rice. The hot and sour soup was just about ok. It had the right amount of heat and the vegetables were nice and crunchy, but the meat and prawns were so chewy, I had to remove them from my mouth in the end because they wouldn't break down! The 1/4 duck was non existent. It was a container full of unfathomable scraps that were extremely dry and difficult to swallow. The leeks and cucumbers were almost dried out and curled up, and the hoisin sauce tasted like reconstituted salty dry powder. The curry sauce also tasted like reconstituted dry powder. I have never experienced finding large mushrooms in a Chinese king prawn curry before, but there were plenty of them! I do not like curried mushrooms. There were the usual peas and onions which were fine. The saving grace was that the prawns were juicy and succulent- just not enough of them as they were small king prawns and there were just 7 of them in the dish. The plain boiled rice was OK. Overall honest opinion; an only just palatable, very expensive, takeaway meal for just one person at £29.90 ( including £3.00 delivery). Unfortunately, I can't rave about my experience and I won't be going back anytime soon.

Salmon and Tuna Sashimi Donburi was excellent. Highly recommended. Spicy tuna handroll also delicious although on the smaller side if ordering as a stand alone main.

Great quality food, lovely driver, will order again!

Ordered a take out for 2 on a Tuesday night. Took an hour to get here. Was NOT worth the wait. My chicken fried rice was Luke-warm, congealed and tasteless. My husbands beef and OK sauce was alright; over seasoned though. Ive certainly had better Chinese food; I wouldn’t order again.

Myself and my husband went here tonight really enjoyed the food. The staff are really friendly helpful and so polite . Lovely place to eat .definitely worth a visit.

Been twice now and have loved it both times! We have been in search for a great buffet for a while now but we have found our perfect one! The food arrives very hot in temperature which I always love! Plenty of choice on the menu! And the staff are very friendly and welcoming! See you again soon!

Unfortunately an inedible meal. Dry overcooked chicken too tough to chew, tainted with what I think was a piece of pork equally hard. Normally good food but tonight's meal has really let the restaurant down.

Ordered my usual, but for some reason this time nothing came with sauces stated on menu. Tofu portions significantly smaller than before and plain. Disappointed but still enjoyed the rest.

Ordered a takeaway of sushi to be delivered Best sushi I have had in a long time. Arrived before the estimated delivery time and was absolutely delicious.

Hot food was cold. Rolls were poorly made, hardly filled and didn't even have all the correct ingredients.

Delicious as always, tried the Tofu Katsu Curry for the first time and it was scrumptious. Highly recommended!

Amazing food! Had to wait 1hour 45 (app estimated around this long) for it but totally worth the wait, they are obviously swamped with orders so order in advance if you are going to try it! Well worth the wait *****

Food delivered by just eat. Temperature was ok but the food wasn’t great. Chicken satay was relatively tasteless and not a great deal of chicken. We ordered salt and pepper ribs, tasty but very little meat on them. Didn’t feel it was good value for money

Best takeaway I’ve had in Selby

First time ever our sushi was not great. Salmon sashimi was still semi frozen with ice crystals and meant the salmon did not taste right and had a crunch to it. Other sushi was good but just didnt seem the usual quality we have had before. Not sure if a coincidence but were given a free bottle of saki… neither of us drink though. Not normally like this when we have ordered before, wont deter us though from returning.

Ordered at 5pm for a 730 delivery. At 7pm sent us a message saying we were too far away (less than 2 miles), had previous deliveries from them so what's the problem. Ridiculous customer service.

Don't expect to get a delivery if you live more than a mile away, they cancel with 20 mins left to your delivery slot. Should change their name to Regency Notyou. Shocking customer service

Order missed a dish, but the restuarnt went way above and beyond to get the missing dish to us. They really care, the food is lovely and the service is good and that's what you want. Thanks

Quality food and service, my family really enjoyed the Japanese food here. Absolutely recommend dine in for the fabulous Sushi especially deep fried soft shell crab, don't miss the chance to taste various yummy food. Proud of the fusion of Japanese & Cantonese restaurant at Selby town!!!

Myself and my daughters absolutely love sushi. Seeing a sushi restaurant in Selby, I have to admit, I was skeptical…. But upon seeing all Dipash’s positive reviews I thought…hey I’ll give it a go, I can always have strong words with Dipash if it’s terrible. Honestly, it was absolutely divine! Top class sushi, super tasty, can’t recommend it high enough.

Waited an hour for delivery for them to tell me they couldn't deliver because i didn't add a £1 to my just at basket. Avoided potential issue though, my neighbour found some plastic in theirs!

After a day hammered by a dehydration migraine this seems to have done the job and i feel more normal! Excellent tasty fresh food

Vile. Rude staff and food awful. When we complained about the disgusting food they actually got angry. Sorry but no words. Thankfully Uber eats gave me a full refund. Avoid.

The food is fresh and very well made however I'm not sure how long this place will last as it very expensive for the location and the portion sizes are small.. the £15 platter would easily feed one person. I also think they could do to explain what the dishes actually are on just eat, I had to Google them all and nearly didn't order due to having to do this.

Was OK. Prawn tempura bit bland. Batter no seasoning. Goyza nice. Salmon rolls OK. Might be me though. I don't know. Just seemed a little tasteless. Excellent delivery, speed etcetera.

We had guests so thought we would try this restaurant. What a truly pleasant experience. The staff were superb, the food amazing, especially the sushi, it was like a work of art. We will definitely go again. So nice to have a pleasant dine in experience.

Food was poor quality and poorly made, gyoza was supermarket quality _ poor flavour poor texture and the rolls all were below standard.

I really enjoy the food but I'm fed up of trying to order and them accepting and cancelling the order almost immediately so I will no longer be ordering from here as they take the money and take nearly a day to refund it after cancelling the order
