Called at the chippy tonight and the "meal" I given was not enough to feed a child! Very few chips and barely any gravy. The customer service left a lot to be desired. This is not the first occasion this year either. Money is tight for a lot of people this year and I don't recommend wasting your money here!

My family of five stood waiting to be served for at least 10mins,one man serving and one lady chatting to people she knew who had already been served and were eating their food.We could see he was busy but he could have at least have explained he wouldn't be long, but no he ignored us instead so we left

Under new ownership as of 2023 (and maybe new name?), this cafe attached to the small garden centre at Llangadog is well worth a stop. Great cakes, specialist coffees and hot chocolates (try the mint aero hot chocolate!) plus hot food and breakfasts. Simple decor, friendly service, definitely worth a visit.

I had small chips and pie, plus a can of drink. The pie was nice, but I had to throw half the chips away - it was clear they had been hanging around a very long time. And the half I ate were not great either. The poor quality of the chips was plain to see, so this is not a case of a genuine mistake. This is instead a level of quality that they are happy to serve their customers. I have supplied a photo of the chips. Although the photo doesn't even do justice - the quality in real life is even worse than it looks on the camera. The can I had was dented and battered. I though it would be OK but when I opened it, it was flat. So that went in the bin also. I have had good food before here, but I've had bad food before as well. Clearly it's luck of the draw. If they have bad/old stock, they are going to serve it to you. That is what's clear. I'd recommend to give this one a miss. If you can travel a couple of miles further, go to the Tumble chip shop instead. I've never had this kind of poor quality there.
