Called at the chippy tonight and the "meal" I given was not enough to feed a child! Very few chips and barely any gravy. The customer service left a lot to be desired. This is not the first occasion this year either. Money is tight for a lot of people this year and I don't recommend wasting your money here!

Come here often and always love the food. Fish huge, well worth the money and delicious. Wonderful staff who are very chatty and welcoming. Visited tonight (23/06/2020)after a long day and received amazing service, as always. Would recommend to anyone.

Kings chippy in Llanelli. Don't bother. Not enough chips for a sandwich ..and soggy. Complained. They said book large potion ??

I've just been to Dhami's and I come here very regularly. Today I had the best chilli con carne I've ever tasted in my life with a nice cup of tea and sat in the restaurant to eat. The staff are lovely and the price was very reasonable, it only came to about 6 quid in total! An excellent all round experience!

having waited a good half hour for our food to be cooked, and then subsequently re-cooked, cold water added to what must have been fairly dry and not so mushy peas, we paid the waitress the money - exactly £20 (funny that as they offer a free bottle of coke for any meal over £20) We got home to discover we were one haddock and chips short, oh well, let's just tuck in as we were all starving. Food was bang average, mushy peas were awful as expected, my youngest had sausage and chips and the poor girl had sickness and diarrhoea throughout the night, which, although not conclusive, I put down to the food that night.

The rissole was rock hard n cold didnt eat it. Must have been held in hot holding for hours.chips cold.

Are these people under mind control?,they seem to have no human ingagement skills,this venue should be called,The unreal Housewives of Station Road,food was so so,chips white and tasteless,but a very nice man did help me to the car with my food, so not all bad..

This was my second visit to This establishment. The first time I was the only customer there, there was two members of staff who decided to completely ignore me, once I was served the elderly lady was very abrupt I thought she must be having a bad day. I ordered the plaice as I wanted something fresh, I was told I’d have to wait which I didn’t mind. As I was the only person standing there being completely ignored I did start to feel awkward. I got the food home and it was adequate. The chips really aren’t that nice but the fish was lovely. My second visit today though was an exact copy of my first. I’m willing to give anyone a second chance but I shall not be going there again to hand over my hard earned money to be made to feel awkward.

Finished a 12hr shift today as i was passing dahmis I thought id call in and get some food. Orderd a battered sausage and chips. Got home and opend my food to find the minimum amount of batter on the sausage and soggy chips.

We visited Dhamis and was greeted by 2 assistants stood chatting and ignoring us. We ordered our haddock and chips and was told it would be a few minutes which I thought boded well as the fish would be cooked fresh. It was indeed freshly cooked , however, it was encased in the greasiest batter that tasted of old oil, and with an accompaniment of pale stone cold chips. I was starving so forced half of it down. Within half an hour I had stomach pains and a few hours later I had to pull off the motorway and make a rather hurried dash into an asda to 'use the facilities' . I felt sick as a pig all evening and then was violently sick. I hadn't eaten anything else that day so the fish and chips was the obvious culprit. It's put me off fish and chips for life. Eat there at your own risk 🤢

I came in to the restaurant where i was served by a tall young man with dark blond hair who i had previously in the day seen loitering around station road drinking alcohol and littering. His attitude towards me in store was awful and he should not be working with customers, in my opinion. After this experience i will never again visit your restaurant as i do not wish to be spoken to with such disrespect!

Hi. Would just like to say I was on my way home from a concert Thursday night around about 9.00 at night and really fancied something to eat but something different so I went into your chippy, when I walked in I was welcomed by a smart looking young man and a woman who both politely welcomed me and made me feel happy to be in the place. The woman made me a fresh fish cake and chips and I must say they was absolutely outstanding!! I have never met such a polite man and woman in all my life. I recommend anyone who goes to your chippy to try and guess if those 2 are working haha and for a young lad he is the politest youngster I have ever come across, always smiling and making people feel welcome. Well done both, keep it up and keep smiling X

I haven't been to have chips for months. randomly went here Thursday for a late tea with my children. The service was outstanding with the 2 lady's and young lad serving. Friendly welcome good communication, fabulous food outstanding my 4 year old son loved the fish . The lady with the blonde hair and glasses just want to say thank you for your outstanding customer service and can't wait to call back again for amazing food . Best chip shop in llanelli 😊 good work to the cook to amazing .

Just got back from the first time trying this chippy and I must say I'm absolutely disgusted. Went there and the woman was constantly rubbing her nose which I think is a hygiene issue then she asked if I wanted salt and vinegar to which I replied just salt she then proceeded to put both on mistakes can happen. She did another one which was fine she then went to prepare the second one which she was about to wrap money which had dropped in from the top of the till it was only when I mentioned she removed it I then she wrapped up the chips and completely broke the fish and was touching the fish and chips with her hand at this point I asked for a refund to which they replied no! She continued to make another one and then forgot about the mushy peas! She also was putting things in the bin not washing hands. Don't see why they couldn't give me a refund considering they hadn't made them, and her comment that it was only money ! Money isn't exactly clean tried to complain online but will not let me submit so will be contacting the manager.

Yo uso este chips a menudo. Nos asientos para la comodidad, pero es un fish and chips. Si quieres buena comida honesta chippy, no puedes equivocarte. Nunca he tenido una mala comida de aquí en más de 5 años de ir allí y comer allí al menos una vez al mes.

This is the best place for chips. The quality of the chips are great and there is a lovely variety of food on the menu.

Terrible, i used to avoid this place because the guy was really Pervy. At the time we thought they were the only place open on a Sunday.

Cada vez que he comido aquí la comida ha sido más que excelente. El pescado es grande, carnoso y muy sabroso con pasta dorada. Las patatas son frescas, perfectamente preparado, no en grasa o pasada. Su salsa curry es uno de los mejores que he probado nunca. El personal siempre es agradable y educado y con ganas de charlar, las ocasiones que he tenido que esperar para pescado fresco para ser cocinados, siempre se disculpó y hemos sido muy sinceros. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente.

Bueno chips, posiblemente el mejor en Llanelli no te saldría bastante rápida y no tan caro como algunas otras tiendas chip local de la zona.

Wouldn't even give it a one to be fair they have a young man working there who I found to be very abrupt bought rissoles that were hard fish was disgusting same as his attitude we called on the 25th Jan normally the girls are lovely there but I think that the owner needs to review his staff or train them on customer service better or even better get rid of that horrible red haired boy

only 3 star cleanliness rating , bad food bad service dodgy area . the place is stinking and should be closed down. until the owner can be bothered to do something about it

Hi I came to dhamis on Wednesday night with my family is had fish and chips my wife had sausage and chips my daughter had cod bites and chip the food was excellent the staff were polite . The chips were good considering the time of year as the potatoes change then you get problems but they were good. Overall a good fish shop

We only went there because it was open on a Sunday --- big mistake. Greasy soggy chips, full of eyes and bits of peel. Fish over cooked . Rissole small and soggy . Most of the food went in the bin . Won't be returning even if it was the only chippy in Llanelli. Just terrible.

I sometime go her for chips very nice chips sometimes it depends how is on the the guy working no fault but if one of the girls how work there do the chips don't bother but all in all nice food

chips weren't fresh and were like eating bricks, don't matter if your busy or quiet but at least have fresh chips

Best chippy in Llanelli. This is owned by the same people who own Rossi's in Swansea. The food is great and the staff are nice. You know when you et home yo are going to be happy.

It has been a while since I last visited Dhami's. Fed up with the local chip shops new potatoes, I have been on a quest to find some good chips. Not an easy job at this time of the year. I have visited Dhami's once before and all was well. However as it is a fair way from home I tend to pick the closer to home chips shops.Two days ago I visited Dhami's for the second, but not last time. The chips were as stated in the title "to die for" they were out of this world. To have chips of that quality at this time of year is unheard of.As before the staff were helpful without being pushy, they seemed genuinely pleased when I pinched a couple of chips before they had packed them and pronounced them fantastic chips. There is another trip down booked for Friday night and I can't wait.Peter.

what has happened to this place?? half of the staff dont want to be there they are miserable. i gave one my order the other day she printed it out and yet i still had to tell her everything i wanted and her reply was always oh you want that aswell... terrible customer service!! there is only one nice cheerful person working there and that is Sam. Will only ever go in when she is working now as you are guaranteed to have fresh food and a smile.

Popped into the chippy to get a quick tea after a busy day and waited over 15 mins. Women serving had no people skills and was a total drip. No apology for long delay and no please or thank you. Chips were pale and hard so had to go straight in the bin. Will never go there again

Had a fish supper from Dhami's tonight and I must say the wife and myself did enjoy it. It was the first time I had been in there. The fish was lovely and moist the batter crisp, the chips were nicely cooked, if somewhat pale for my liking, but made up for that in taste.The staff were helpful without being pushy, and even though it was busy they still made time to be courteous and friendly.I will be back nest time a fish supper is on the menu.

I visited this fish&chip shop for the first time on Monday afternoon at around 2pm, food was outstanding (cod and chips), the place was spotless,and service was great also had a little bit of banter with the staff and the young gentleman put a smile on my face after a hectic morning at work. Not the same can be said for this afternoon (4th Oct) i called in around 1pm to pick up some lunch for myself and my grandparents which was cod and chips twice and a battered sausage, chips and a pot of gravy. To start with the service was awful the young lad who was there was very arrogant and did not want to engage in a conversation and the lady was all 'self'. Anyway I let that pass rather than letting them know they weren't making me as a customer feel very comfortable anyway I received my food, one word ' appalling' the batter on both cod and sausage was grey! How is that possible And also soggy. Gravy was extremely thick and lumpy. Chips were ok at best. Very disappointed especially as I recommended it to my grandparents, all 3 of us weren't impressed by the food unfortunately. From what I've seen from 2 visits it's hit or miss. After today's experience I may return in the near future to see if there's any improvements as my first meal from there was to die for and it may have been a 'bad' day today. However another experience like today and I will not be returning.

chips under cooked , rissoles will give you heart burn, this must be the worst chip in llanelli, how this place is still open i really dont know how

Visited around 1pm Sunday 27th July. Outside looks very promising and smart. 5 star food rating displayed. Bit of a treat for us as we very rarely have fish and chips decided to gave them packed and go down the beach to enjoy them. We had to wait 5 mins for fresh chips, fine by us. Eagerly opened our packages to find grey very thin chips!!!!!!!!!. Still thought maybe they would taste ok I can truly say both my partner and I said they were the worst chips we have ever had and at 63 years of age I have had plenty. I am afraid they all went in the bin. The fish however was superb absolutely excellent, the only conclusion we have reached is that they hadn't waited until the fat or oil was hot enough before putting in the potatoes and they were cut so thinly they were at best chewy. What a pity, the staff need training on how to cook and prepare these or the business will go down the pan. How hard can it be.

Popped in for food tonight, had fishcake, chips and curry sauce as it was daily special. Excellent value for £3. A big enough portion of chips for 2 people. Staff pleasant, shop clean, food hot. Overall very satisfied. Best chippy ive had in llanelli by far !

I have been here a few times but the last two times the food has been terrible!I had cheese and chips with plenty of salt and vinegar. The problem was that I couldn't taste the salt and vinegar, the chips tasted as though they had been sitting there for HOURS! They went in the bin. My partner had a large battered sausage and cheesy rissole. When he opened it the rissole had been crushed and was a big mushy mess in the paper but what we salvaged did taste ok. The battered sausage was greasy and the sausage tasted, well not like a sausage. The girl who served us was in a foul mood. She was rude and she crushed our food (rissole). She didn't smile and she didn't say please or thank you. I think she needs to look for a job where she doesn't have to interact with people. It's always clean and tidy looking although the fish tank seems to look a little tired these days and there is something quite weird about having a massive tank of fish near a massive fryer that cooks fish.....each to their own.I won't be coming here again. Once is ok as everyone has a bad day but this second time topped with the grumpy girl was too much for me. It's a shame as a few months ago I would have rated this place a 5!

this is our local chippie and i must say dhami has come along way since opening first, hes done the place out with a sit down area thats really nice and the food is good and its so clean there. staff are frienndly too

staff are very welcoming and polite, nice premises ,popular location,big portion of chips struggled to finish them lovely.

When I was roaming around Llanelli, there didn't seem to be that much choice along the main road. I saw a lot of locals milling around Dhami's and figured it must be good - figured correctly.The fish has crispy batter, but the inside just melts in your mouth - they give you a good sized portion too! The chips/fries tasted great too - nice with the vinegar.Staff were really friendly too, asking about my travels and such.

The fish was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy batter and sof, melt in the outh white fish inside it.The chips were a lovely golden colour and tasted divine. My mushy peas were 'proper' mushy peas, not dried out like you get in some places!

Overall food and service very good it's always my first choice for Fish n Chips xx

This is a very swish fish bar. It has been decorated in an ultra-modern style with comfy bench seating along one wall, a huge fish tank and contemporary lighting. The food is very good indeed and very reasonably priced. The service cannot be faulted. We were very impressed and enjoyed outr meal immensely.
