Chick King in Carmarthenshire

been to chick king many times and have rarely had a bad experience apart from once when their chicken kebab made me spew.

We order from here quite a bit and have never had bad food. My boyfriend has chicken kebabs and is always happy. I don't eat meat , but the salad is so nice that I always get chips and salad too. I think they are the best in Carmarthen. Little tip though... If the guy answers the phone don't worry, all will be good, but if a girl Answers, make sure you get her to repeat the order as wrong orders are likely. Food is always fresh and tastes good!!

just finished my chicken shish kebab, this is the 4th takeaway I've had from them. Every time it has been excellent. The salad is always fresh, and the quantity is large whatever size you have. I wish they did a Lamb shish kebab as well. Well done to all the staff.

Worst takeaway ever. BBQ ribs had 'gone off' and had to go in the bin chicken was the driest ever tasted. On top of this they tried to overcharge me.. Would never go there again.

i have had delivery from chicking 4 times and each time they have overcharged me,i have odered food from their website menu so i know how much they are supposed to charge me but every time they have added about £2.00 extra for nothing,assuming i dont know how much my food and delivery cost.eg...chicking special mixed kebab =£9.90,12 inch garlic pizza with cheese and pepperoni =£7.50,+£1.00 delivery,+5p for carrier bag....total,=£18.45,but i was charged £19.70.they either need to update their website or read how much to charge from the menu,instead of plukking a number from thin air.

Cooked to order so they are super fresh, with loads of toppings, you can't go wrong with a Chick King pizza. Their fried chicken is lovely too. Much better and cheaper than KFC.

First time I tried this place and the last time. Had a mixed donner mid week and have to say it was the most tasteless kebab I have ever had. I cant even say I could tell what the meat was from taste. Never again.

Second time here now I’ve had a custom pizza where I’ve specifically requested no meat to make sure. Meat is then hidden under the cheese. Obviously it’s a mistake as no reason for them to give free meat but as far as I know this is the only place which has made this mistake and twice (outside hols in Thailand) - Veggie of 30 years! 2 stars instead of 1 as the staff have a lot of patience with the drunk customers they get at 3am.

I've said enough in the title, food and service is the best you can takeaway in the area, kebabs are the nicest I've ever tasted and the chips are out of this world. Great staff and reasonable prices

Late food specialists, quick, happy staff, if your hungry late at night this is the joint, but also they do takeaway deliveries, if you've had a busy day, chicks away

Absolutely shocking! Sent the wrong order. Phoned up whilst delivery driver was stood at my door. The way I was spoken to was appalling! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Came here last week. I got in the queue, and another man came in the queue after me. After a server became free, he didn’t ask who was next, but went straight to serve the man who had come in after me. Rather then telling the server that I was next, he proceeded to give him his order, so I interrupted and said “Excuse me, I was next,” and proceeded to give my order. The man tried to argue with me, but I stated that he had come in after me, and reiterated my order to the server. He grudgingly took my order but didn’t look happy about it and gave no apology. He also wasn’t smiling at the customers - he looked like he really didn’t want to be there. Despite only ordering one item (a burger - I didn’t even order any chips with it), the man who had come in after me received his order before me. I found this to be quite sexist and was not happy, but I took my order and left. I didn’t feel there was any point making a fuss - I just won’t be coming here again that’s all. I’ll go to McDonald’s instead. Their McChicken Sandwich is actually tastier than the chicken burger I had at Chick King anyway, which I found to be quite bland. I wouldn’t say I enjoyed it. Definitely my first and last visit.

Called here on a Saturday evening after a night out in the town.I was hearded in like cattle with a doorman just slouched on a shelf by the door.the staff were very rude and made you feel hurried into choosing your food...there is no organization in place once you have placed your order just a free for all.very disappointing food over cooked chips chicken was very dry pizza tasted like a frozen one.lack of salad and dressings/sauces to accompany your food.will not be going back.

Fantastic kittle takeaway with good range of food, always served hot and by friendly staff. Open from early evening till late. Gets a bit roidy on weekends after 10. Best takeaway in Carmarthen
