More staff here than customers most evenings, seems to be full of gambling addicts who spend all evening playing fruit machines and smoking outside.

I visited here on a business event. The door administrator, Ash was one of the friendliest I have ever come across. Thank you for the brilliant customer services. Keep up the good work.

Called here for a snack lunch during visit to Carmarthen. One other couple seated with one person serving behind bar. Place was generally clean and tidy although Gents toilet had been vandalised with no soap or drying facilities ( a cleaner allowed use of the Ladies which was better). Food was good and served fairly quickly and reasonably priced. This pub/bistro is centrally located but there is a lot of local competition within a short walk. They should try harder to attract custom.

This apparently is by night a Bar / Club and by day a Chip Shop / Cafe. I was there with a group on a night out and had a pretty good time although there seemed to be only one person working there. What upset me was that I had used the disabled toilet, (which wasn't really up to standard) and when I needed to use it again a short time later it was locked. After waiting some time to see if anyone came out, I asked the staff member and was told it was out of order. This meant I had to cut short my night out and return to my hotel, as did the other 10 members of my party. We would have stayed, spending money much longer. I would also point out that a toilet is not a hygienic place to store a babies high chair.

This was very popular during the recent YCF Eisteddfod. We called in for a pint around 5pm and the Rugby World Cup was on the TV there. Good atmosphere. We would have ordered food there, but they had stopped serving, and the first floor was shut for a private party. A good pint though and a Welsh speaking member of staff. Diolch yn fawr.

Well that is a first. I guess they ran out of bread. Thought at least they have Heinz Ketchup for the curly fries. They when I used the Heinz Ketchup, they had filled it with a cheap red sauce. The only thing that was good was the service.

Visited The Spread Eagle(9-8-14) on our lunch break and was pleasantly surprised, simple menu, served quickly, food arrived within 15 mins, which was very nice might I add and friendly chatty waitress to boot, would have liked to have given 5 stars but the place obviously needs more staff as the poor waitress was rushed off her feet, she seemed to be the only member of staff in the place and was rushed off her feet trying to serve tables and people who were at the bar waiting to be served, she was even having to run across the road to a coffee shop for some reason leaving people standing by the bar, come on management, more staff needed and our Spread Eagle visit would have been so much better but all in all was enjoyable.Well done to the 'lone waitress' :)

Went for lunch at The Spread Eagle, just for a quick drink and meal, oh dear! There is clearly an identity issue with what the place is. It's generally a pub, bit grubby around the edges, but has a Crisp and Fry chip shop menu? They also advertise for take away! The bar was empty yet it took nearly an hour to get food, not ideal if your working and when it did arrive food had to go back for being undercooked, only to wait again! My tip of the day; Stay away from the chippy menu, do good quality simple bar meals and do them right and you may just get some business!

A lab excellent visit this evening with friends. Great food with no wait all meals were timely measured . The service was 100% and very friendly and polite. It’s nice to chat with someone who thrives to deliver first class service. We had a young lady Christina who served us and was excellent. Ours tables were cleared regularly and we always were asked if we were happy and anything we needed.

Arrived after 2pm with my 90 y old Mum and my dog on a Thursday Mum ordered the Scampi the Menu described 12 Scampi but only 11 arrived the waitress did rectify this and gave us an xtra one for luck. When I ordered I asked did they have Sirloin steak the lady taken my order said yes I have had the Sirloin steak on two previous visits when my meal arrived it was Rump Steak if I'd known there was no Sirloin I would not have ordered Rump , the food was fine but the attention to detail was poor i regularly pass by as I live in Pembs but work at Glangwilli.
