Yr Orsaf in Carmarthenshire

We visited yesterday on our bikes. We were disappointed as only accepting cash and miles from nearest ATM. Take cash with you! I don't know if this is a permanent thing or of they were having temporary issues with card reader machine

Called in today, lunchtime for some good and beverages. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us, so friendly and so efficient. The food was good, varying from pizza to sausage bap, and sandwiches, beverages were very reasonably priced. Toilets well stocked and clean. Thoroughly recommended.

Visited recently with friends perfect as a coffee,cake stop,still unsure re food our friends had burgers very very dry,I had a pasta dish again dry,the chips were those skinny chips you get in Mc Donald’s….jury’s out. What I must praise are the staff we’ve been for coffee in the past which I must say is excellent,what a happy pleasant group they are,very friendly and chatty. The location is great lots of seating lots of outside seating with lovely cabins situated outside…modern,very clean,and a lovely thing you can take your dog in. We will visit again the jacket potatoes looked good so will try. Please visit see for yourselves,avoid school holidays for obvious reasons.

An absolutely superb experience! The head waiter/server was exceptional. Welcoming. Friendly. Efficient. Pretty much the best mocha I've had... Good coffee, not great but good. Delicious cake: Not generous. Not mean. Lovely, local crisps. I can't comment on anything healthy, salads, et al. ;-) I asked for - and was given - information on local walks on the park, including a complementary leaflet. Thanks for the experience. :-)

Called in for a light lunch on a weekday in term time. Very pleasant staff, short wait, good choice of sandwiches and baguettes, nice seating areas inside and out. Good value. Play area for young children and clean toilets.

A fairly restricted menu and take out goods. In quiet times there is reasonable service both with indoor seating and extensive outdoor seating - which is well maintained. We went during the jubilee weekend and, frankly, they were overwhelmed. A bit of a self inflicted failure as the park advertised a food and craft festival which turned out to be a craft festival with a few bottled drinks stalls and some cakes. Yr Orsaf tried with a burger van, but that was the only place selling food to eat other than the restaurant. So to the service. We queued well over half an hour for take out. Not a long queue just incredibly slow. Then asked for various items which all turned out to be unavailable. In the end we settled for an ice cream (!) and even then had to take what was left. A sandwich (only a couple of choices left) would have taken over 45 minutes to prepare. I am guessing that they had staffed up with teenagers to cope with the sudden bank holiday rush and failed miserably. Because at quiet times it’s acceptable. At busy times, take a picnic.

We didn't actually realise this place existed until we found it but are glad we did. Friendly staff, child friendly, dog friendly and plenty of gluten-free / celiac options on the menu for those that need them.
