The best restaurants serving British food in Pont-y-clun Rhondda Cynon Taf South Wales

We decided to visit here for food as we were passing which was the first time since the new owners have taken over and were happy to find it is as good as it has always been. Great food, reasonably priced, friendly welcome and service plus lots of options to drink what’s there not to like! If you are in the area definitely visit!

Superb Sunday lunch. Ordered the additional sides which her yummy too but definitely not necessary as portion sizes were perfect. Great portions for the kids aged 7-10. One vegan friend thoroughly enjoyed her nut roast too. All the staff were really accommodating, checking in regularly and generally friendly. Would certainly recommend :)

We visited the Miskin Arms last Friday to celebrate my 66th birthday. Well, my wife Meg is a Miskin, so we just had to go. I'm so glad we did as the food was superb. Meg is a vegetarian and had a delicious Beetroot Wellington, such an imaginative change from the usual boring options. My Sirloin and chips were perfectly accompanied by a gorgeous Malbec. Many thanks to Juan and the team for making my birthday lunch very special indeed.

Had a brilliant 2 night stay. We felt so welcomed, the breakfast was cooked fresh and extremely good value. Set in a stunning location with 3 lakes, you wouldn't know that you were so close to 2 industrial towns.
