Rock & scallop in Rhondda Cynon Taf

I wanted a cuppa and food but was immediately told by serving staff it would be a half hour wait, there weren't many tables free but the young man who greeted me directed me to the small tables by the pool table and was happy to take my tea order, I didn't order food as I got the sense that they may just be doing roasts and with the immediate warning I felt I'd go elsewhere.. he was great- friendly welcoming and helpful.. there was a nice atmosphere .. it was Sunday lunchtime and busy

First visit today, will definitely go again. Amazing Sunday roast served very quickly and by really friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

A lovely venue with beautiful views

Went here for the two course lunch. Amazing value, the food was delicious and freshly made. The service and staff excellent (Liberty was our waitress) and a lovely spacious ambience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
