lovely relaxed atmosphere in this licensed cafe on a campsite and very good food, large portions too. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices reasonable. Really can't fault it. The campsite was a different matter, one of the worst I've ever been to. So stay somewhere else but pop into the cafe, they deserve your business.

We’ve just returned from another fantastic stay at Outdoor Alternative in Rhoscolyn, and once again, it was everything we hoped for and more. We stayed in Mulfran, the house has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. It is spacious, comfortable, and perfectly equipped. Jacqui and Mark were as wonderful as ever, Jacqui prepared a delicious one-pot supper for us that was a perfect end to our first day. The location is unbeatable – we had stunning walks, plenty of beach time, and even kayaking, all accessible right from the house. We’ve been coming for years, and this place never disappoints.

The Fruits de Mer dish was probably the worst plate of food put in front of me, ever. The oyster resembled flegm, the crab looked like a burnt offering, and the two scallops were undercooked, unseasoned and tasteless.

Lovely evening after a hot sunbathing day! We had the best service from Mandy who went above and beyond to ensure myself and my partner had what we needed for the duration of our meal. The food was very tasty, I had the mushrooms to start- very flavourful may benefit from more stilton, followed by the beef blade- very enjoyable, creme brulee- a great finish. My partner had the lamb shank for main and the sticky toffee pudding again great food. Highlight of the evening was the friendly welcome and attentive service. We dined in the bar ares which was a more casual setting and just what we were after. We will be back again :-)

Always great food here , but every time the tables are sticky to touch . And the menus are also sticky and dirty sometimes . It doesn’t take a lot , or cost a lot to give a table or menu a clean . It is a bit off putting when you are reading off a menu that has sticky stains on it .
