Witnessed very poor hygiene by the young girl serving at the counter at lunchtime today. She was constantly touching her mouth, hair and face and even put her fingers in her mouth at one point. We were going to order cakes but this really put us off. Just had a pot of tea. As we finished our tea, a waitress came to the table and asked for the teapot as they were running out of them. Dear me.

Great reserve but poor quality food. Enjoying South Stack and the Choughs so stopped in the cafe for refreshments, pot of tea for 2 and 2 slices of cake. The cake reportedly lemon had no flavour and the cream was artificial. For £5.00 a slice it should have been better. At least the tea hit the spot. It’s a shame when you feel like it’s a captured market. Couldn’t see any prices so you don’t know until you get to pay.

Mixed feelings for this venue. We went for breakfast but were told there were only doing breakfast baps, not breakfasts, despite full breakfasts being on the menu. Their excuse was they were understaffed but that was only stated after much hesitation and didn't ring true sadly. Also, breakfasts seemed to be the only casualty that day. A shame because what we received was tasty and all the items available in the baps would have been on the breakfast plate, so that was very confusing. Sadly we would not be likely to return to eat here.

Popped into here for a breakfast at 11.06am and was told it finished at 11am which was OK BUT we had a cup of tea and witness four employees sitting on the sofa chatting and doing social media while the place was very quiet. I did think to myself HOW HARD would have been to cooked bacon for a sandwich and excel on there customer service skills instead of sitting doing social media, 2-4 minutes maybe for a sandwich... Looking at other reviews it seems this kind of poor customer service has gone on before. Still we went to CAFFI MON in Holyhead and had the best breakfast ever. So if you do happen to have a somewhat poor experience at RSPB SOUTH STACK CAFE you know where to go... Enjoy.... 😊👌😊

We paid a visit to the RSPB South Stack Café after seeing the South Stack lighthouse on a rainy weekday morning in August. We had parked our car in the adjacent RSPB (pay & display) car park and on a rainy and blustery morning, the café looked very inviting when returning to our car. The café is fairly large and on the morning of our visit was fairly busy. The café has tables and seating for customers and large picture windows giving good views of the coastline though the weather was closing in and the views were beginning to disappear in the mist. The café also appeared to have outside seating looking out over the cliffs but this was closed for our visit, probably due to the inclement weather. The café is quite large and offers a good range of hot and cold drinks and snacks. Customer toilets are available inside. There is an RSPB shop by the entrance should you wish to purchase any souvenirs of you visit and support this worthy cause.

Although we live about 125 miles away, we have probably eaten at South Stack more times than anywhere else. The view is something else. The food is fine. The rspb shop is expensive. When were younger, we used it as a base for a walk in the area. Now, when we are staying for a few days on Anglesey, one of our ‘days out’ is to have a snack and just sit taking in the view. There is a new building being built during Summer 2019, after which there will also be a parking fee introduced. During high season / popular times of the year it likely to be heaving. During winter, beware when opening the car door as the wind could slam it against another car nearby. It is great for children - there is no phone signal, the internet is a pain. During school holidays you will probably have to park at the lower car park. Maybe walk to Ellin’s Tower. Then the uphill path to the cafe. And then, probably get blown over trying to use a rather good children’s play area.

A great and very welcome cafe after the long haul down the cliffs to the lighthouse. I suggest you visit before and after the climb. We did and were glad we had. The snack set us up for the climb and when we retuned we were gasping for drinks even thouhgh we had carried water

Doesn't look much from the car park. Go through the arch to the beer garden, it's like the wardrobe to Narnia. Open fronted glamping pod, table in a boat, an unbelievable Hobbit house, fully furnished, with books in a bookcase. Go down the steps to the garden terrace overlooking the bay. Comfy and sheltered seating, with stunning views. Is dog friendly too. The beer is no worse a price than tourist places. And is a decent pint. Ignore the naysayers. It's a very pleasant place for relaxing with a drink. We will be returning.

Closed down a couple of years ago! Sadly a wasted visit, although lots of produce as now just a farm shop, very over priced
