Seated as soon as we arrived and menus brought. Both had pate starter and then lamb rump with mustard, Olive oil and garlic and mustard dips and tuna steak with soy, olive and garlic, and sweet chilli dips. Ended with S' mores sharing board with chocolate digestives, waffle, strawberry, raspberry, brownie pieces and marshmallow all with chocolate dip. Could not fault the service, ambience or quality of food. Portion sizes will not leave you hungry. If you don't go here you are missing a brilliant restaurant. Don't forget to bring your own drinks although soft drinks and water is available. If we're ever come back to this area we would definitely go here again.

We had a 4 day stay, visiting the lovely beach at Conwy Morfa, the mountains nearby, the lovely village of Rowan and a gig at the stadium in Colwyn Bay. The small hotel is beautiful and full of character. The eating space, lounge and bedroom were excellent with a bar where you can help yourself if the hosts aren’t around - just write down what you had! The jewel is the extensive garden where you can relax amidst beautiful countryside surroundings. The nearby village has one pub which serves good food and there are numerous enchanting local walks in the north Wales countryside or mountains within easy reach. The hosts are. Chris and Sandra who will be only to pleased to look after you and engage in a good conversation should you wish. There’s a terrace where you can enjoy your drink and the breakfasts are extensive and varied and cater for vegetarian and gluten free options. In all a delightful stay.

Just the job. Husband had lovely (fresh) breakfast bap, with Welsh smoked bacon and I enjoyed a home made scone which was delicious. Very nice staff and bonus for us it was dog friendly.

We were visiting Llandudno for the day and we’re looking for food. We were a bit late in the afternoon and all the hotels had stopped serving food to non guests. A quick Google search and Darcie’s popped up! Upon arrival we were stood outside weighing the place up and a couple came out. The lady said “go in it’s great in there” so we did. Great it was! We were initially greeted by two young ladies. We were very impressed with the warm welcome and their genuine engagement with us. So many times with young staff you feel as if you’re interrupting their chat or social media time but these two enjoyed their work and wanted us to have a great time. It was so refreshing. The food order was taken and it arrived not too long after. Delicious, tasty, nicely presented and appropriately priced. We are vegetarians and there was a good choice at Darcie’s. We can’t highly recommend it enough and we will be back for sure. Thank you all for a pleasant food experience

On holiday at Bodelwyddan and visited Colwyn Bay with our coach trip. It was quite late in the afternoon and we stumbled upon this little shop as the lady was closing up.She very kindly made up some fantastic ham and cheese brown baps just absolutely stuffed with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and lovely home cooked ham.Just the job for us.The cakes looked really beautiful too.Spotlessly clean shop and a very nice friendly lady. Just finished off our Welsh holiday very nicely 👌
