The best fish and chips in town, found this gem walking down the high street. Cater for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and for people for allergies. Recommend, the cafe has a very cool look!

Came for lunch with s group of friends with kids excellent quality and to a very high quality. I had the omelette that was fantastic.

Really friendly and efficent service, and very enjoyable food. The staff even brought us an unexpected gift of a piece of cake for my step-father's birthday as a surprise. Fantastic, thanks.

I had the chicken tagine which was so delicious! Our waitress was new and had to get the owner to explain the dish. He did a great job of telling me about it so that's what I ordered.

Stopped for a brunch for myself and my son on a Saturday morning. Welcomed and served very quickly. Beautiful food. Great choices for my son who has a lactose intolerance. He enjoyed the berry smoothie made with almond milk. The food when it arrived was absolutely delicious (as good as it looks in my photograph). I had the Healthy Breakfast which consisted of eggs, avocado, vegetarian sausages on brown bread. My son had scampi and fries. Though we were a little early for the lunch menu we were wonderfully accommodated. Great service. Will visit again.

Great Gluten Free options but honestly, if you’re in a rush or short on time, don’t bother. I ordered a panini and a can of pop & a piece of GF carrot cake. The drink came after about 5 minutes which was fine and the food not long after. The cake never actually appeared despite waiting 30 minutes after finishing. Price wise, it wasn’t too bad but for what is essentially a sandwich and a can of pop it was on the steep side. £10.40 for a drink and a panini and it was nice to have plenty of GF choice. Maybe I caught them on an off day.

Fish and chips- absolutely delicious. Beautiful little cafe. Service spot on. Glad we kept looking for our fish and chips. We were not disappointed

We visited the M and J Bistro on a cold and wintry day in Conway and as soon as we stepped inside we had a warm welcome and we immediately felt warm and comfortable. I ordered the special which was the goulash with mash and salad which was absolutely delicious warming the beef was tender entire meal was delicious flavour, some warming and served with thickly buttered bread which you could dip into the goulash which was gorgeous. My partner had The Welsh rabbit which was cheesy and mustard and delicious and perfectly presented. The staff and everybody there were friendly warm and welcoming and made us feel so at home, the entire experience was an absolute pleasure. We thoroughly recommend the MJ bistro. They are also dog friendly and have a lovely menu of delicious dishes which are perfectly priced and affordable. We thoroughly recommend a visit if you’re in Conwy!

Loved this cafe, called into all the local cafes on the day and chose this one. Great ambience. Pryce waited on us and was great, he liaised with the chef to meet our requests. Lovely fresh food. Would highly recommend.

Popped in late Tuesday lunch time. Husband and I both had the posh fish finger sandwich - delicious. Daughter had cheese and tomato panini and the biggest posh hot chocolate. Would recommend

Found this place by accident to escape heavy rain! Ended up having a delicious cooked breakfast, all piping hot and cooked to order. Excellent coffee and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

Picked by chance, and were pleased we. We had specials of posh finger sandwiches, one Welsh rarebit and a panini. Could not fault any of the food. Two milkshakes and a cappuccino were also very good. Presentation was great and the place was very clean including the toilets. Would visit again

Absolutely excellent service, food and drinks. Had a lovely time. Lovely little designs sprinkled on your cappuccino. Food came quick. Allowed dogs in and even offered them a sausage

We’ve been to M&J’s for lunch a few times. The staff are so friendly, and give great service. The food is delicious - fresh and generous portions. I find myself looking forward to colder weather so I can order the Stroganoff! Their smoothies are also fabulous 😋

We had a lovely dinner at M&J Bistro. The staff were very accommodating, seating our group of seven and staying open bring their usual closing time to serve us. The chicken tagline was fantastic - very fresh, with lots of flavour. The chocolate cake was great too.

We ordered the fish and chips and it was more then amazing. Service was polite and very helpful . Speedy service and it feels like a home from home would highly to pay a visit when visiting Conwy

Fish and chips was good, but very oily. Service has been a bit rude, we asked to join another table to be more comfortable (we were 5 in two tables for 4) and the waitress was visibly annoyed. No.

Enjoyed 2 meals here with my partner. Service was swift and friendly. Menu choice was very good. The front door is a little stiff - give it a good shove to get in.

What a lovely place to eat, the avocado salad was amazing , big portion , with sweet potato fries and some unusual combinations of fruit still and olives and salad which really worked. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
