The best restaurants serving British food in Dumfries & Galloway Lowlands

The fish and chips are very nice and the chilli sauce is the best sauce ever! Everything was very good such as the seats and the luxury and I was already impressed but then I got even happier when I found out that the chips were fried in separate oil to the meat. The reason why this is so important in businesses is because vegetarians cannot eat meat and then if they want chips if they are fried in the same oil as the meat they cannot eat it as the meat gets on their and the meat germs get on their too so this was a big thing for the vegetarians!

Called i one evening before going to theatre just for a drink. Only 2 or 3 others in the bar who clearly had too much of something and language was choice to say the least and went unchallenged by the staff on duty. I will not return.

Absolutely an amazing Greggs so clean and the staff are amazing they are always smiling and serve at an amazing pace , the food was lovey as well as the atmosphere

terrible chips. some were partially cooked.didnt look fresh. over priced for the size of portions. if i hadnt walked bk to my car a gd distance away,i wouldvde taken them bk. disguisting.threw in bin. avoid!!
