terrible chips. some were partially cooked.didnt look fresh. over priced for the size of portions. if i hadnt walked bk to my car a gd distance away,i wouldvde taken them bk. disguisting.threw in bin. avoid!!

Arrived 8pm.locked dark and abviosly shut - no answer from.phone number posted on door no reply via booking app -it felt like a scam and had to.find somewhere else to.stay - they claimed we arrived after 11pm despite time stamped photos refused to refund via booking app- AVOID

20 English StreetPopped in for breakfast. 1 vegetarian and 1 Scottish. Plenty choices, great portions, tasty maple syrup pancakes and great service. Maybe a bit pricey at almost £20 but the food was good.

C hurchgateWent for Sunday lunch, it was ok. Plates for the carvery dangerously hot, A HAZARD. Meals were ok. Desserts were nice with a teaspoon of custard. The ice cream was sorbet which if we'd known we wouldn't have bothered with. Would probably go back if in area.

Buccleuch StreetNot the best of Wetherspoons. Quite dirty inside. Tables covered in empty glasses but 5 behind the bar? Drinks ok though
