The best restaurants serving British food in Moray Highlands and Islands

After moving back to Scotland a few months ago we finally had the chance to eat in The Croft Inn. The restaurant was cosy, the food lovely and service excellent. We wish Chris, Nat and Tuk Tik continued success and hope to visit again soon.

Just popped in for a Feta Salad. They accidentally put avocado in it, but asked if that was OK before serving it. It was more than OK - it was delicious - took the slight edge off the feta. Very tasty.

Even if not doing any biking you can still go and eat here. Great food brought to you by the Nethy Bridge team. Eat in or outside.

Lovely friendly cafe offering a good variety of sandwiches, paninis, coffee, drinks and cake. Nice views of valley and golf course. Seating inside and out. I had a nut butter beetroot carrot panini, my partner had local ham and cheese sandwich. Both came with fresh salad. Parking area. Glad we spotted this by chance!

Drove from an hour away on a sightseeing day only to have owners say there is no restaurant here. So then had to drive back the other way to go to our second choice restaurant.

I cannot thank Stephen enough as he has gone above throughout this whole lockdown in helping me get presents to my parents. The Deli deserves recognition for all their hard work that they have provided .

The Mosset recently won the award 'Best Restaurant' from the 'Scottish Business Awards' organisation. This is well deserved as the restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, service is always quick and friendly, there is a good varied menu which caters for most tastes, prices are reasonable and most importantly our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Recommended

Searched Google for places to eat breakfast whilst visiting and came across The Ditsy Teacup. What a find. Excellent food. Friendly, helpful and polite staff and a really pleasant setting. Will definitely visit again when next in the area. Trying the homemade fresh scones is a must!

It was just too busy to get in the front door, and find a table. I should have booked a table in advance, as the food all looked delicious. We just went elsewhere , under the bridge, and its food was just yummy too.We then went back to near the Rockpool cafe, and had an ice-cream.

Lovely bustling cafe by the harbour, which always has a good selection of simple fish dishes for brunch and lunch. Burgers and steaks are also available. The food is very good and the service superb. We always come for lunch when we're in Lossiemouth.

Another great meal last night. David and Sophie are great hosts and always take time out for a chat even when they’re really busy.

Reading the recent reviews & limited options out of season in the area, we had lunch here. It was very average, sorry to say.

Went to this establishment on Mon 25th March 2024 seen loads of awards for excellence on their walls had a fish supper and black pudding supper both were outstanding will definitely return
