The best restaurants serving British food in Moray Highlands and Islands

Drove from an hour away on a sightseeing day only to have owners say there is no restaurant here. So then had to drive back the other way to go to our second choice restaurant.

Don’t really want to shout about this because we always want to get a table but it’s only fair to share. Best Thai meal we have had. Cracking satay. Fish curry was spectacular. Imaginative cocktails. Inventive deserts. Amazing welcome- lovely hosts and chef.

I cannot thank Stephen enough as he has gone above throughout this whole lockdown in helping me get presents to my parents. The Deli deserves recognition for all their hard work that they have provided .

Lovely friendly cafe offering a good variety of sandwiches, paninis, coffee, drinks and cake. Nice views of valley and golf course. Seating inside and out. I had a nut butter beetroot carrot panini, my partner had local ham and cheese sandwich. Both came with fresh salad. Parking area. Glad we spotted this by chance!

Just popped in for a Feta Salad. They accidentally put avocado in it, but asked if that was OK before serving it. It was more than OK - it was delicious - took the slight edge off the feta. Very tasty.

Even if not doing any biking you can still go and eat here. Great food brought to you by the Nethy Bridge team. Eat in or outside.

Thank you so much team mosset for such a great night last night for the Now that's what I call a Christmas party. The decoration and tables looked amazing and the food was so good, dietary requirements for our table were catered for with care taken to explain the amendments and alternatives. Staff as always attentive and friendly. Only complaint was the music was toooo good! Couldn't stop dancing and my knees are feeling it today ha ha. A lovely little tea ship that has an old fashioned feel. Real china cups and lovely setting. Simple but lovely good for with great scones and bakes. A little tight if you have a push chair or wheel chair but the staff are really helpful.

Great location, attentive staff and the food is good if a little limited and pricey. However if you are just looking for a coffee and a cake stop, then this has it all :-) ps, the local Cullen Skink is to die for 👍

Called in to sample the Cullen Skink after seeing it featured on a YouTube video (Steve Marsh). I have to say we were not disappointed, it was delicious! The cafe was busy, but we were fortunate to be seated without a wait. Booking is recommended at busy times. The whole menu looked fabulous, I could have spent a week or more having lunch in there each day. Sadly, it was just a flying visit. We will certainly visit again when we are in the area.

Booked on-line with an added note that we wanted the Festive Menu. They called to explain that the Festive Menu had finished at the end of December but that the Chef had said that we could have everything except substituting chicken for the turkey. Fine by us. The dining room was a little bit on the cold side. We didn't say anything ... typical British .... so that was down to us. Both the food and service were excellent and the cost very reasonable. Well be back.

Was in past for a nice quiet meal. Service was excellent. The food was fantastic and large portions. Highly recommend.

Great for a casual night out with an extensive whiskey list in the Speyside region. Also came back for a second evening and enjoyed a tasty dinner. Best French Onion I’ve ever had!

Another great meal last night. David and Sophie are great hosts and always take time out for a chat even when they’re really busy.
