Lovely friendly cafe offering a good variety of sandwiches, paninis, coffee, drinks and cake. Nice views of valley and golf course. Seating inside and out. I had a nut butter beetroot carrot panini, my partner had local ham and cheese sandwich. Both came with fresh salad. Parking area. Glad we spotted this by chance!

Visited twice this week for lunch. We did visit last year . Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great menu choices, and everything we had was utterly delicious, but lunch today was perfection on a plate for me. All my favourite foods. Gather the “special” was a try out, and believe me a successful one. Toasted naan with haloumi, guacamole, humus, olives and and a very generous salad. The Ballindalloch apple juice was incredible. A big thank you to you all and we hope we are able to come back next year.

A lovely wee café, excellent location , clean and well maintained easy parking. Lovely friendly staff decent selection of cakes and snacks just a little let down by the push button coffee machine they use, not the worst I've had by a long way but far from the best as well, would I vist again hmmm due to the coffee probably not my first choice.

Fabulous setting. Lovely staff. Cakes to die for. Sat outside in walled garden great views of surrounding hills. Toilets better than many 4 &5 star hotels. Simply wonderful. Can't wait to return.

Our favourite find from last year, a delightful spot for lunch. I think people forget food has to taste as good as it looks but here the humble sandwich is accompanied with a fresh salad with mixed leaves and a yummy dressing. The ham ploughman's included Ayrshire ham and then a rainbow of vegetable/salad small dishes including pickled radish, purple cabbage coleslaw, mixed coloured peppers and leaves, egg mayonnaise, cucumber, beetroot etc. Excellent tea choices and very pleasant loos.

I ate at the Lagmore Cafe for lunch several times during my visit to Scotland in summer 2022. Excellent, fresh, tasty food, reasonable prices, generous portions, and great service. Some dishes I particularly enjoyed were a vegetarian plate with unusual salads, smoked salmon sandwiches, and home-made pastries. My only qualm about writing such a good review is that this place will be discovered and overrun. But that would be so good for its owner and her staff. I cannot wait to go back there and recommend it very highly!

A hidden gem of a tea room. Sarah made us very welcome despite being late comers. We arrived at 3.30pm but nothing was too much trouble and even the dog was looked after with a welcoming bowl of water. The food was excellent. You will be in for a treat in this wonderful setting. Thank you Sarah.

Second visit to this gem of a cafe. Decor and ambience good. Warmly welcomed. Great menu choice. Delicious sandwich and cake. Sandwich came with cutlery which surprised me as expecting a plain brown bread sandwich but it came with very fresh salad. Excellent pot of tea, all at an incredibly reasonable price. Many thanks to very friendly staff We will be back next year Definitely 5 star

Fancied a Bacon Sandwich for lunch today, followed by Coffee & Walnut cake and icecream washed down with Ballindalloch Estate's own apple juice. And then a doze in the sun!

This is a newly opened cafe with a fantastic choice of food, very reasonably priced. We had the ploughman's platter which was accompanied by imaginative salads. All very tasty. The welcome was warm and service very efficient. The setting is magnificent and we look foward to returning on a dry day when we can sit outside and enjoy the amazing views of the hills.

An absolutely delightful and cute cafe nestled on the edge of a golf course. We stopped here on a cycle and it should be a must visit on a whisky trail as well. The cakes were glorious, lovely service and such lovely decoration. We will be back.

The Lagmore Café, Ballindalloch has just recently opened and I was all agog to see what delights they were offering to starving passersby and the better organised diners among us. On arriving, there was a slight confusion as we mistakenly started to head for the distillery but in fact the café is in the Ballindalloch Golf Club House next to the distillery and has a very discreet sign to that effect. Plenty of parking, I noticed. As we entered we could see that all the usual pandemic restrictions were observed but they did not detract from a charming dining room with lovely country views with plenty of well spaced dining tables and chairs. The menu was chalked up on the blackboard by the serving bar where we ordered, and consisted of plenty of light lunch choices. Soup, sandwiches, salads and a good choice of beverages, all reasonably priced. What really caught the eye, though, was a lovely selection of homemade cakes which are apparently made on the premises and so very fresh and really delicious.

Sooooooo overpriced!!! I got a roll that the bread disintegrated when I picked it up and 2 slices of just cooked bacon for £4.80 hilariously i paid £2 for a tattie scone that was uncooked 🤢 i had taken 2 bites out of the roll before I realised that it was warm but not cooked. The others I was with said their food was edible but for the price would it expect it to be at least nice 🤷♀️ save your money and go somewhere nicer for breakfast! The restaurant was cold, we sat with jackets on as most others were doing as well which didn't help with the non welcoming atmosphere. The lady serving was chatting to people who she must have known. I had to wave at her after waiting 15 minutes to get served. My last point is the 1 toilet. There must be others but there was no mention of another toilet by the waitress when she seen a queue of customers waiting.

Looked wonderful but sadly it is not dog friendly. Dogs not allowed. You could sit outside with a dog i think. Google very misleading as we chose Rockpool especially for being dog friendly.

Booked for my husband’s birthday and did not disappoint. Had 3 courses and all were delicious! Great, friendly service and no long waits. Lovely atmosphere in the dining room.
