The best restaurants serving British food in Glasgow and Surrounding

Staff were great and so friendly. £15 for two coffees and cakes was a bit much when Wetherspoons is down the street and half the price. We had been in there earlier and got unlimited coffees plus two desserts for £8 for an idea of price as my dad had an appointment we had to wait on in Dumbarton. The store itself is a disaster. I’ve never seen a Costa with actual holes in the ceiling from water damage and multiple stained spots where it’s leaking. The front signage of the store is also missing on one side with a tarp with COSTA branding covering about a third and exposed wood ply behind the rest. It looks really tatty and run down. Again top thanks to the staff on shift trying their best in a store falling down around them. You really need to look at the condition of the store whoever manages this branch.

Solely disappointing food along with rather unsatisfactory hygiene standards. Went here today with my partner for the first time - To start of our experience at Sally's we were pretty unenthusiastic after placing our order due to the sheer state of the prep table, bread crumbs and food littered along the back station which certainly as you can imagine is not appealing to the eye - it was exceptionally grim. The woman who was running the station looked scunnered with her job as she wore this unwelcoming scowl across her face in the midst of her messy unclean station to top it all off she began smoking a vape In front of us! and over the food ! This was a sight for sore eyes! Totally repulsive and exceedingly unappealing! Couldn't even eat the food went in the bin which was indeed the best place for it - entirely poor performance. I hope this review is taken constructively and measures can be put in place to rectify this behaviour and unsanitary conduct. Deep clean needed and clean as you go process should be implemented. Furthermore here's something else to consider Smile! It's more inviting Having said this, to Conclude.. We won't be back ( can't say we would recommend. agreeably inadvisable )

Estábamos absolutamente hambrientos y habríamos comido cualquier cosa para cuando llegamos aquí, estaba muy ocupado, ni siquiera podíamos llegar al bar para pedir nuestra comida. En su lugar, ordenamos a través de una aplicación. . . La comida fue entregada rápidamente por Sarah. . . sus dedos estaban enrojecidos, ella trabajó duro. . . Ella era como una Cenicienta escocesa. La comida llenó un agujero y nos sentamos a comer mientras presenciamos a la joven Sarah que casi tiramos a una pandilla de muchachos alborotados por hacer mucho ruido, no me atrevería a cruzarla, pensé para mí.

Reservamos un té de la tarde con Prosecco. Llegamos a las 12, nos llevaron a una mesa en la habitación principal, pero el piso estaba sucio, los manteles esparcidos por el piso, la basura tirada y cada barra de la mesa 2 estaba llena de platos sucios. Aunque el trato no era caro, NO había forma de que quisiera comer en esta habitación. Había mesas de repuesto en el conservatorio, por lo que pedimos que nos trasladaran. Me dijeron que no había espacio, pero si esperábamos 10 minutos, nos trasladarían. Solo 2 empleados estaban ocupados y se les escapó. Cuando nos mudamos al conservatorio, que era mucho mejor, pero cuando llegó la comida nos quedamos muy decepcionados. Sándwiches muy básicos y sencillos y los pasteles no eran nada especial. Las ollas de té estaban frías a la llegada. No nos quejamos con la camarera ya que sentía que tenía suficiente que hacer. Vergüenza en la gestión por recortar personal. No volveríamos

Got a pizza from here last night & lamb curry two days ago they were absolutely banging and the staff is so friendly.

On three recent occasions Captains have not been able to fulfil my order and a cheaper alternative was agreed. They have not refunded the difference despite me sending two separate issues via their website contacts page. They have not even bothered to contact me. Food is good but customer service is poor especially when they overcharge but do not refund.

We visited Greggs in Windmillhill Street, Motherwell this afternoon. There are 9 tables and they were all vacant but not cleared, with crumbs, wrappers etc. There were 6 members of staff present. 2 were serving and the others were laughing and and joking and 2, wearing Santa Hats, were dancing about. We cleared a table ourselves and another customer who followed us in, did the same. The floor badly needed swept with crumbs everywhere. Greggs is great for coffee and a quick snack and I go to various branches regularly but this particular branch needs attention.

food was a bit slower to get here, and cold. The soda didn't have a lid on it and was sloshed around the bag. I ordered a more expensive order than I actually received. Absolutely poor quality here.

Pedido solo comer, no recibí mi entrega ya que fue entregado a otro edificio. Llamé al restaurante para que me dijeran que no pueden hacer nada al respecto y que me reembolsaran solo comer. Se murió de hambre.

El desayuno bastante seco un poco más importante no lo disfrutamos porque las ventanas eran tan repugnantes que era difícil quitar los ojos de ellos

Llegué a Dobbies y me dieron menú de desayuno y el miembro del personal aconsejado vendría a tomar mi orden. Después de que un miembro del personal de la camarera tomó la orden, entonces otro miembro del personal aconsejó que los artículos del desayuno estaban terminados y el menú del almuerzo era solo artículos de comida en oferta, ya que había llegado demasiado tarde para el desayuno. ¿Cómo puede llegar demasiado tarde cuando el menú se le da y el pedido de comida tomado. Este restaurante / cafetería es uno de los lugares más desorganizados que he estado y nunca volveré a ninguna tienda Dobbies.

Llegué justo antes de las 3 pm y el restaurante era bastante tranquilo. Pedido dos bebidas calientes (ya que aparentemente no hay comida caliente disponible). Bastante suave taza de té y capuchino insípido. John Lewis ha bajado cuesta abajo.

Food ok but the coffee & decaf coffee was abysmal we will never get coffee in the restaurant ever again.
