Food wasn't fresh. Mushy peas were just peas in water. Fritters tasted off

The fish was look warm and the chips were cold. Had to heat everything up in the microwave. Also noticed the telephone number on the receipt was not mine.

driver rude said had been thier for 10 min before chapping loudly at my my door I'm hard of hearing but according to you're app it was still wating to be delivered.

everything was warm apart from the fish was stone cold. had to heat it up in the air fryer which didn't help it also had no taste it it very dry and no seasoned

got large special fish supper. it was hot and tasty. didn't have long to wait.

Foned the shop staff delayed me to make a tea for someone 2 Sugars aswell cheeky , then they spoke to a walk in customer then asked my address said its on way there busy n hung up bit ov a shambles

Macaroni was split, it tasted sour and can see the cheese had went lumpy. It was definitely off. Don’t know why no one noticed while heating it up.

Fish supper is overpriced as the quality is very poor. Chips are burnt and look as if they have been lying for a few days. Will not order again.

I really don’t recommend the macaroni looked and tasted as if the sauce had curdled I asked family to try it and they said the same thing, the chips were hard and crispy which was disappointing as was my full order

Went in to get chips and cheese. Lady put chips on the tray then went round to put the cheese on dipped her bare hands which have been touching everything including dirty money and the till in the tub and used her fingers to sprinkle it on. How is this acceptable? It's bogging. Can you not use even a spoon or fork or other utensil its disgusting. When I said I had changed my mind and she'd used her fingers they looked surprised. Your food hygiene is absolutely ridiculous. I'll never ever be back. They need to get their act together 😒

Late delivery / food containers warm but food cold, one pizza burnt around the edges and undercooked underneath the middle, pizza seemed sloppy so not eaten. waste of money!

Ridiculous waiting time and not properly reflected when ordering. Ordered at 6.35pm, delivered at 8.20pm. Looks like a common theme going with the reviews.

Our delivery arrived before the estimated time, it was wrapped securely and in a sealed paper bag, the driver was friendly and polite, everything was ok, nothing special tho, it wasn’t the warmest either but to be fair im 2-3 miles away and it was rush hour so not the restaurants doing

Over 3 hours still no food, shop not answering phone and the app says it been delivered which is very sneaky such poor service which is a shame I used to like it too

Shocking food and service Ordered sausage super and mixed pakora waited in the shop for 40 minutes, they wrapped it up shouted it was ready, so it was in a bag without asking if I wanted salt n vinegar, got home there was 3 pieces of dry overcooked chicken pakora and 3 pieces of burnet vegetable pakora, worst £22 ever spent!!!!!!!!!

Got a takeaway from here on Friday night I didn’t know fish had hairs, I was nearly sick when I took a piece of fish and had to pull a hair from my mouth and it wasn’t mine I am bald, after that my wife throw her fish supper in the bin.

Pizza was practically cold and not cooked thoroughly also pizza had hardly any cheese all you can taste is the sauce which again hasn’t been cooked through!! Never buying again can’t even eat

pizza was great & very enjoyable

Requested salt, vinegar and sauce on suppers but they arrived dry and cold. Drink did not arrive with order, phoned and was told it would be dropped off, still waiting. So a dry cold supper with no drink, a Saturday night treat!

pizza was soggy and wet, couldn't even lift it without it falling apart. love these pizzas toi but worst yet, I put it down to delivery time, as app said delivered by the due time but 15mins late

Called in to get the 'meal deal 1', the chicken burger option. Woman on the phone said no bother. Got a call back 2 minutes later informing me that the chicken burger is no longer an option, only the regular burger. Then why is it still advertised on their shop window and on their website as of 4/10/2024? Extremely annoying. Ended up canceling the order and ordering somewhere else.

Food was very poor, chips were reheats and full of scraps, the rest were most definitely reheated and the batter on the fish & sausages were like rubber, this is 2nd time in the last few weeks the food has been very poor, £40 for dinner and most of it was inedible, sorry but I’ll be ordering elsewhere from now on, despite complaints about poor quality food, nothing seems to get done about it!

we got a smoked sausage supper and it was lovely and hot and sausage was delicious and chips were cooked just the way we love them... highly recommend the Rex Chippy 10/10 👍
