Morrisons Cafe in West Dunbartonshire

We went in for breakfast everything was lovely, the kitchen forgot some of the breakfast items but the server (Alasdair) was brilliant, he sorted everything as quickly as he could and made sure we didn't want for anything.1 young guy in the cafe at breakfast time isn't fair or neither the staff member or the customers.No cutlery, no milk. I have no idea how he is expected to serve, clean tables, take orders, run the orders etc but while he was over run he remained cheerful.5/5 for Alasdair2/5 for Morrison's.

This place recently had a refurbishment to freshen it up as part of a store refit however it has not been changed too much other than adding a child play area and a self serve screen. When ordering we were told we were better to sit towards the child play area as the new coffee machine they have had fitted is so loud with a constant buzzing sound and even when we sat further away from it we were able to clearly hear it. The food is average but the service is fairly slow and the tables are often not very clean so this place is not somewhere my wife and I ever go with high expectations and consider a middle of the road place that we rarely use.

We popped in here for a quick snack after visiting the Maritime Museum close-by - we needed some shopping and a fuel fill for the car. We were surprised that the food we ordered was better than we would normally have expected and the friendly service was a pleasant surprise too.

We were here years ago and called in for breakfast . There was an automated order service and it was a nightmare to understand and use . Nobody there to help . Plodded in and managed to order . The gentleman behind had the exact same problem . The breakfast was lovely and very reasonable for the 2 of us . The staff were pleasant and seemed overworked , thank his it was quiet .

I've eaten here a couple of times in my lunch hr, nothing special, but nothing particularly awful either, however what I will say are the toilets at this supermarket are the worst, they smell of urine badly and that's the ladies, get ur act together Morrisons, not a patch on Asda

I was staying in a local hotel but did not want the all you can eat breakfast. Morrison's is only a 5 minute drive away from the Premier Inn and is very handy for a wide variety of breakfasts or other meals. you can easily switch items on a set breakfast for something else which seemed to be no issue for the staff. The food is cooked well and tasty and now is a regular place for us to visit when staying locally. You can also claim your Morrisons points when paying for your meal.

Visiting the area and not too happy with the breakfast at another venue the week earlier we deceided to try Morrisons on our homeward journey.Very big mistake.It was not too busy,but there seemed to be a shortage of staff.The young woman took the orders of 3 people in front of us,then "vanished into the kitchen"We were waiting a good 5 mins before she reappeared with food on a tray and advised us she would be back soon.Food eventually ordered,then another long wait and when it arrived it was a disgrace,3small pieces of bacon 2 well done 1 partly cooked a hard poached egg and a portion of cold baked beans and burnt toast.Immediate complaint,to which the response was "you can have your money back"My husband explained that we would prefer a hot breakfast that was the purpose of our visit.so they tried again and there was little or no improvement apart from the beans were put in a small dish to try in vain to keep them warm.The waitress returned and advised us as the first breakfast was cold she had been told to give us our money back!It goes without saying we will not be returning to this Morrisons.We have had breakfasts in other Morrisons in the past which have been okay.

Always enjoy lunch before shopping, good variety, and good prices. nice clean shop. wide aisles.easy to navigate.

Fresh, as you might expect, being located adjacent to the food store by same name. We recommend the fish and chips (and ubiquitous green peas) for lunch. The steak pie was OK but not as good as Greg’s. Good and friendly service.

Tried their Breakfast and it's O.K. Not the best but not the worst I've had. Handy when shopping in the store but I wouldn't choose this for anything other than a quick snack.

We have visited here several times and we have never been disappointed. This was a family visit for brunch. The order was taken promptly, and we were able to order what the kids wanted and didn’t have to choose a set meal. We found a table quickly. It was clean and tidy, the decor is bright and cheery and there were several high chairs available as we needed 2. Our food arrived quickly and was tasty and great portion sizes. We all enjoyed and we will definitely return especially as we seen that after 3pm kids eat free!! With 3 kids this is a great promotion for our family.

I avoid the cafe in early morning as the lack of staff previously has put me off. I have on occasions had to go and find staff.

By far THE BEST cheese and onion toastie i have ever had in 27 years (and i have eatern ALOT! ) That is how you cook one... crispy and perfect! Trust me it can be messed up so easily. Well played chef 👍 top job!

I did a review a few weeks ago about the way in which staff have to run about doing all sorts of various jobs. I requested that if any manager read my review they should take action.

Waited 40 minutes for our meal to be served. Had to ask lady at till what was happening and meals turned up a few minutes later.

Ordered 2 veg breakfasts, waited an age. I had finished a my mug of coffee by the time it arrived. The fried egg was special, didn't know what to do with it, either eat it or strap it to my foot and run up the road with it as alternative rubber footwear. Quorn sausage was hot all the rest was cold. Not going back here for food. Staff were nice but i think they're under pressure to deliver.

Avoid any kind of eggs no matter what form or cooking method they are like rubber. Sandwich platters are pleasant. Anything that's hot am sure is bunged in the microwave. Nothing is fresh made on site unless out the Deep fat fryer.

despite being in a supermarket the food is good providing it is not to busy staff seem unable to cope at peak times but still remain very friendly and helpful. Well Done.

Excelente desayuno. . . . . . . . . . Fuimos con un amigo hace un par de semanas. . . . . . Ambos nos pidió el mismo y pidió antes que yo, pero por alguna razón. que obtuvo el primer lugar y yo había terminado por el momento su llegó 15 minutos más tarde. . . No hay explicación o disculpa. pero aparte de eso, la comida era estupenda.

Good range of snacks and hot and cold meals at very good prices. Friendly staff and clean tables. Specials at various times eg for kids. Good coffee.

Mi y mi wee felices cuatro años comimos en Morrisons hoy. Yo solía venir aquí con mi abuelita cuando era 31, así que me hace feliz está bien de precio, siempre ocupado (no es una buena señal) y la comida es deliciosa. No estoy de acuerdo con algunos otros que aquí en expectativas parecen ser dirigido un poco alta.

ideal for something for dinner after doing shopping with 2 meals over £5 you get a childs meal free (after 3pm) handy while we have my grandson.Also a good value big scottish breakfast.

There are not many choices on a Sunday morning to drink a coffee in Dumbarton so we stopped here. The quality wasn't amazing but neither horrible, something between. The food was ok as well 🍴☕️

You cannot go wrong for what you are paying for. Fish and chips were lovely with a nice batter. Kids eat for free during school term so brilliant value for money.

The food is horrible the staff can be nasty and when it peek time of the year there no point going in you wont get your food for ages i personal would rather go grab something out of else were

The service was so slow and they were not busy,we waited 15 mins for our food,other's not happy as well

Quite often pop in for a breakfast, its a good quality good value cafe, the cakes and scones are good too.

Great choice and great quality! Although the not the first idea of somewhere for lunch, if you want something fast and good then it's great.

Este lugar es rápido, la comida es fresca, personal amable, un precio muy razonable y una buena selección de comidas rápidas variado. He desayunado aquí y fue increíble, abundante y bien caliente.

He visitado un par de veces recientemente y hay siempre algo malo. La última visita fue la máquina de agua caliente no funcionaba. La última vez no había cuchillos y tiempo antes no servilletas o horquillas. Trabajo personal como troyanos y son pocos y lejos entre. Obviamente para ganar su salario. La comida es generalmente aceptable y a un precio razonable. A veces un montón de niños corriendo y personal diciendo nada.

Had breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast with coffee. Service was good, served quickly, everything nice and hot and place very clean.

Weekly fish and chips here are amazing, great quality and great value for money. A favourite of mine.

Fuimos allí para una cena a finales de marzo, como parte de unas vacaciones. Vi el especial que tiene 2 comidas, 2 copas por 9 libras. El menú tiene algunas opciones para este especial. Los empleados del registro eran bastante agradables. El principal problema porque no jerárquico fue la comida era trajo muy despacio. Yo creo que la comida es buena relación calidad-precio, pero era al menos lento la noche que estuvimos allí. Sólo comer allí una vez.

estado en Morrison's Cafe es un buen pocas veces. Es como autoservicio que subir y pedir lo que quieres recibir un número, entonces es llevado a su mesa, razonable comida, precios razonables lo recomendaría. La única cosa que está en la altura de la comida o para la cena puede ser un poco esperar

We were shopping and decided to stay for lunch. There was a good selection of sandwiches on offer. We had the salmon & cucumber and coffees. All very nice and the dining area is very pleasant. Good parking and wheelchair accessible.

Fuimos allí para una comida de improviso el momento cuando compras aquí. Me decidí a pedir la supuestamente galardonado fish and chips y era muy sabroso. La comida y copa como razonables y aunque estaba en la planta de la tienda te sentías que tenía algo de privacidad. Mi familia también deliran con el desayuno.
